Quoting the Bible and Owning Guns Gets Man Arrested in Washington State

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Tyler Dinsmoor, a Christian evangelist in Washington state, has been arrested by state police for expressing interest in pursuing evangelical opportunities and owning firearms, an ominous development that has many concerned about future implications of so-called red flag laws.

Dinsmoor, who runs a sheepskins business, especially via Gab, has been routinely attacked by the Left for being a conservative and for being a Christian. Now he is in county prison for speculating that he might go to a pride event to spread the Gospel, and the simple fact that he owns legally owns guns, Big League Politics reported.

He recently suggested on Gab that he would like to attend a Gay Pride parade, at which he planned “to distribute flyers to families in attendance with facts about child molestation, disease, and rape.”

Dinsmoor was alluding to the recent parade held in Anacortes, Washington.

In response, he has been slandered by leftists, suggesting that he has broken the law and threatened violence. They also got the police involved, culminating in the destruction of Dinsmoor’s life and livelihood.

Replying to their manufactured outrage, Dinsmoor posted Bible verses, including Leviticus 20:13, which reads: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

On June 17, at the promptings of leftist outrage, police raided Dinsmoor’s property and arrested him. Oak Harbor Police Chief Kevin Dresker defended his response by suggesting that Dinsmoor was a threat to the LGBTQ community.

“The nature of Dinsmoor’s online comments,” he said, “included violent vitriol aimed at the LGBTQ community and ominous posts about the gay pride parade.”

Dresker also noted that “Dinsmoor owns guns,” which he percieves to be a problem.

Two days before, Island County prosecutor Greg Banks hit Dinsmoor with a “hate crime” charge.

He is now being held in county jail on a $1,000,000 bail.
