(Headline USA) Newly released polling data shows that the movie “2000 Mules,” which makes the case that there was rampant election fraud in 2020, has had a widespread, convincing impact on U.S. voters.
Conservative activist and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza released the movie, which investigates cell phone geotracking data and video evidence of election fraud.
Now, polling shows it is hitting home with voters.
“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 77% of those Likely U.S. voters who have seen ‘2000 Mules’ say the movie strengthened their conviction that there was systematic and widespread election fraud in the 2020 election,” Rasmussen said. “Only 19% of those who have seen the documentary say their belief in election fraud was weakened.”
That impact varied by political affiliation, but all political groups were swayed.
The survey asked, “Did the film strengthen or weaken your conviction that there was systematic and widespread election fraud in the 2020 election?”
The poll found that the majority of Democrats, Independents and Republicans said it strengthened their conviction, with 68% of Democrats, 77% of Independents and 85% of Republicans saying just that.
Most Americans, though, have not seen the documentary. The poll found only 15% of voters have seen the movie, though it was only released last month after a premiere at Mar-a-Lago.
“Nineteen percent (19%) of Republicans, 14% of Democrats and 11% of voters not affiliated with either major party report having watched ‘2000 Mules,'” Rasmussen said.
However, 41% say they have at least heard of the documentary.
“That includes 50% of Republicans, 36% of Democrats and 38% of unaffiliated voters,” Rasmussen said.
In fact, even some lawmakers have been swayed by the effort.
AZ Rep Blackman says that they need to move forward with HB2289, based on #2000Mules evidence clearly stated.
Blackman previously opposed the bill.
The bill makes elections in AZ 1 day, 1 vote, paper ballots, & drop box restrictions.
