(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Investigations into numerous land deals surrounding a major U.S. Air Force base in California revealed that tech billionaires bought up millions of dollars worth of farmland and planned to turn it into a utopia-like city.
The investors bought much of the land, located in Solano County, far above market price, under a firm named Flannery Associates. Big-name tech investors such as LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, investors Marc Andreessen and Chris Dixon, venture capitalist Michael Moritz and several others became involved in the scheme.
Jan Sramek, a former Goldman Sachs stock trader, originally pitched the idea to build a walkable metropolis with thousands of jobs and opportunities for innovating within the tech industry, the New York Timesreported.
All of the elites involved in the scheme remained anonymous, working under a firm called Flannery Associates. Recently, government officials caught wind of the plans and launched several investigations.
The Air Force, Department of Agriculture and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States all opened separate investigations into the operation, the Daily Caller reported.
Many of the groups assumed that Flannery was a cover to launch new wind farms, a new port or allow increased Chinese influence in the United States.
Reps. John Garamendi and Mike Thompson, D-Calif., attempted to discover the company’s intent after Solano locals reported multiple sales to Flannery.
“We got the F.B.I. and Treasury involved,” Garamendi said. “I couldn’t find out anything.”
Flannery claimed it was “owned by a group of families looking to diversify their portfolio from equities into real assets, including agricultural land in the western United States.” Since the more potentially nefarious motive was unearthed, the schemers have tried to spin damage control and keep their plans on track.
The conglomerate of tech moguls and investors has hired political consultants to deal with conflicts that might arise as it seeks to break ground on new development, the Times reported.
Since the Solano County residents became aware of Flannery’s plan, the organization must get permission from the locals in order to install their utopia.
“We are excited to start working with Solano County residents and elected officials, as well as with Travis Air Force Base,” a spokesperson for Flannery said.
(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A Haitian illegal immigrant has been arrested for allegedly causing a deadly school-bus crash in Ohio earlier this month, Breitbart reported.
Hermanio Joseph, 35, crashed into and flipped a school bus full of children, leading to at least 23 injuries—at least one of them serious—and the death of 11-year-old Aiden Clark, who was ejected from the overturning bus.
On Aug. 22, Joseph crashed into the Northwestern Local Schools bus full of children on their way to the first day of the new school year.
His eastbound Honda Odyssey minivan went into the lane of the westbound bus, which veered onto the shoulder but was unable to avoid contact with the minivan and overturned.
The crash took place in Clark County, Ohio. Joseph was driving without a valid American driver’s license.
On Monday, Joseph appeared in the Clark County Municipal Court, where he was indicted on a charge of vehicular manslaughter and one charge of involuntary manslaughter.
Additional charges may eventually be leveled, pending the completion of the investigation.
Though he was detained by the Department of Homeland Security upon his crossing, President Joe Biden‘s DHS proceeded to release Joseph into the United States, where he eventually ended up in Ohio.
“The Biden administration’s ‘welcome and release’ agenda continues to put our communities at risk,” noted Fabbricatore, who formerly worked for ICE.
“Their goal is to let in as many poorly vetted illegal aliens as possible, often without proper GPS tracking or scheduled court appearances,” he added. “When will this administration put public safety first, or is mass migration more important?”
Those were the final words posted online by Democrat ex-state representative Stacie Laughton of New Hampshire, before Laughton was arrested and charged in June for the exploitation of children, as well as the distribution of child pornography.
The supremely ironic video of Laughton was initially posted by New Hampshire’s Committee to Elect House Republicans last month, and recirculated this week by numerous accounts as the trans alleged pedophile awaits trial. Laughton has been ordered to be held in pretrial detention in a facility separate from other inmates.
Laughton was ensared in a federal probe of a New Hampshire daycare that had allegedly been sexually exploiting children.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, the proprietor of the daycare, Lindsay Groves, allegedly took the photos during bathroom breaks and diaper changes, later sending them via text message. Groves is also facing child pornography and other related charges.
The investigation so far has revealed several pictures exchanged of naked children between the ages of three and five years old.
According to Nashua police, they first responded “to a local facility for a juvenile matter” on June 20, when they “spoke with reporting parties that indicated Laughton, the state’s first transgender legislator, distributed sexually explicit images of children.”
Sexual exploitation of children convictions come with a 15- to 30-year sentence, and a fine of up to $250,000.
Distribution of child pornography convictions carry a minimum sentence of five years and up to 20 years in prison, and also a fine of up to $250,000.
Groves had taken photos of the children naked and sent them to “an individual with whom she was previously in an intimate relationship.” Authorities did not identify the former partner of Groves, but police confirmed that the same investigation led to the detainment of Laughton.
Drama between the two has been unfolding for the past several months. Laughton resigned from the New Hampshire House of Representatives in December after being charged with stalking Groves.
The daycare center has since closed, and is reportedly cooperating with the investigation.
(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) A social media mob led bya race-baiting civil rights huckster incited calls for violent retribution after an allegedly racist cow won an award at the annual Wisconsin State Fair, forcing officials to issue a kowtowing public apology and blackball the offending bovine from the premises.
The cancel culture grilling started earlier this month when a fair-goer noticed the cow’s name and posted a picture on social media.
“We’re walking through the dairy barn, enjoying ourselves, and came across the nameplate and was kind of taken aback,” David Blake told a Wisconsin ABC affiliate.
“It’s one of those words, one of those few words that should be totally off limits. I mean, there’s a big one that we all know, and I think it’s on the same level,” he said.
Sensing an opportunity to kindle racial discord, the self-proclaimed Milwaukee’s Malcom X had a serious beef with the alleged racist cow and the white supremacists at the state fair who allowed it into the fold.

“Ummmm Wisconsin State Fair this s*** has to come down. ASAP,” Vaun L Mayes demanded on Facebook. “Quit playing in our face. We KNOW this term is derogatory.”
The cow, which won an award in the fair’s junior division for adolescents, was originally named Jigaboo, according to the image posted online. The largely outdated and obscure term would likely have gone unnoticed, until it was twisted into the twine used for a social media lynching.
“The ways they keep trying to disrespect us in our face,” accused one Facebook reply, while another demanded, “Dude what?? How many people let that shit slide? WTF”
The responses quickly escalated with calls for protests and a boycott, prompting officials to not only issue a groveling apology, but also boot the cow from the state fair.
“We do not tolerate or condone this behavior and took swift and deliberate action to rectify this situation,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “The exhibitor who showed this animal was part of our junior show and is no longer at the State Fair. We are sorry this happened and was not brought to our attention sooner.”
The apology did little to sate the online mob, and responses grew increasingly violent. “Out of all places they better stop playing they don’t want no Milwaukee brawl nie,” warned one activist.
Multiple posts referred to the mayhem wrought at a recent Alabama riverboat racial melee, where one black brawler was seen using a metal chair as a weapon.
“This a chair special waiting to happen,” threatened one poster outraged by the racist cow, while another encouraged activists to “Get the folding chair,” and another called for a “Caravan????” implying a march on the state fair, or perhaps a protest at the home of the adolescent who entered Jigaboo, which the family was forced to rename “Puzzle” and offer a public apology for “the racially insensitive term we used to name one of our cows,” in hopes of appeasing the mob.
“We now recognize that use of this word is unacceptable and harmful,” the statement added. “Immediately upon learning the meaning of this term, we changed the cow’s name. We are committed to educating ourselves further.”
The response was rebuffed, with one activist declaring “The cap has been thrown and WE got chairs on deck. What are WE waiting for?” Another Facebook post featured a folding chair used as a beacon call to action.

The manufactured race-baiting didn’t go unchallenged and received its own dose of backlash, with one commentator noting the hypocrisy of the outrage, writing “You got rid of the cow, Aunt Jemima syrup, and Uncle Ben’s rice. Y’all are on a roll!” Now, how about going after rap music that’s offensive to black women?”
When a commentator came to the family’s defense and offered a reasoning behind the cow’s moniker, Milwaukee’s Malcom X and his posse of race-agitators couldn’t let it drop.
“The cow’s name is an amalgamation of the names of the ‘parent’ cows: Sire (Male): Duckett Crush Tatoo Dam (Female): Milgene Beemer Jiggly,” a post explained, adding it was likely “this pre-teen girl doesn’t even know” what the archaic offensive term meant.

“This is a slang term that has been mostly out of favor, especially here in the north, since the 1950s. So, please, put your rainbow flags and pitchforks away and grow up,” the commentator advised.
“So how u get boo out of tattoo. try again muddasucka. The worst attempt to whitesplain ever,” whined Milwaukee’s Malcom X, and was backed by his acolytes. “Disgusting and All they gone do is lie we’re sick of the reasoning and lies too,” aped one.
The racist gaslighting led one commentator to exit the Facebook thread, putting a cap on the faux outrage and misplaced criticisms.
“The real Malcom X would laugh in Milwaukee’s Malcom X wannabes face for getting his panties in a wad over a child’s pet cow name rather than the real issues at hand,” the poster wrote.
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Biden Justice Department is facing growing pressure as new revelations come to light about the extensive embezzlement of U.S. taxpayer funds earmarked for COVID-19 relief, carried out by international criminal groups and foreign entities.
These groups are accused of siphoning off approximately $280 billion, originally earmarked to assist struggling U.S. families and hospitals. This alleged theft has sparked a strong response from House Republicans. Leading the effort to demand accountability from the DOJ is Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, who chairs the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
“Estimates imply that at least half of all stolen COVID-19 relief funds went to Russian, Chinese, and Nigerian criminals,” stated Wenstrup in a letter directed to embattled Attorney General Merrick Garland. Wenstrup also quoted an FBI official who characterized the theft as “an economic attack on the United States.”
In the same letter, Wenstrup alleged that the U.S. Secret Service had indicated that a faction of hackers linked to the Chinese Communist Party had managed to seize at least $20 million in relief funds by exploiting government computer networks in six states.
Wenstrup demanded access to documents and communications relevant to the ongoing investigation conducted by the DOJ.
The Republican chairman emphasized, “[W]e write today to better understand the full scope of this problem and what actions the Department has taken to investigate international COVID-19 relief program fraud and hold these foreignactors accountable.” The request was accompanied by a call for a response by Sept. 12.
The letter’s release comes a week following Garland’s admission that an astounding $836 million linked to COVID-19-related fraud had been misappropriated from taxpayers. Overall, the DOJ has managed to seize more than $1.4 billion in stolen assets.
Garland highlighted the apprehension and indictment of 371 individuals, among them violent gang members, accused of devising plots to defraud taxpayers. In an August 23 press release, “[T]he COVID-19 public health emergency may have ended, but the Justice Department’s work to identify and prosecute those who stole pandemic relief funds is far from over.”
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Gold Star father Mark Schmitz voiced his frustrations about the handling of the tragic events surrounding the deadly withdrawal of U.S. troops in Afghanistan on August 26, 2021.
In an emotional testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday, Schmitz slammed what he described as a lack of accountability for the actions of the Biden administration, going as far as calling President Joe Biden a “disgrace to this nation.”
“Two years have gone by and where are we? To be frank, we’re knee deep in bullshit, is where we are,” Schmitz stated, the Daily Caller reported. “Everyone who held a key position in the military still has that position or has been promoted. Not a single person has been held accountable. Our so-called leader can’t seem to even utter their names in public, not even once.”
Schmitz’s son, Marine Corps Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz, was among the 13 U.S. service members who lost their lives in the attack. The emotion-filled father drew attention to Biden himself during the gripping testimony.
“Mr. Biden has run his entire campaign for 50 years as the family man,” the Gold Star father continued. “Well I’ve got news for you, sir. The curtain has been lifting and that campaign slogan will never work again. We have seen what’s going on in your family and even worse, we’ve seen how you’ve been treating us as Gold Star families. And there couldn’t be anything more disgusting and cowardly than the way you have treated us. You are a disgrace to this nation.”
Schmitz’s emotional testimony continued, “You, sir, stole their lives, their futures, their dreams and have ripped apart 13 families. You cannot even man up and admit that. You, sir, gave us all the title ‘Gold Star family.’ You, sir, discredit honor and integrity.”
“These families are angry,” Waltz said on Fox and Friends Weekend. “They feel like they’ve been lied to and misled about exactly how their loved ones died and some of them still don’t have some of the personal effects.”
Despite mounting demands for accountability, Biden issued a vague statement on Saturday, saying, “Today, Jill and I remember and mourn these 13 brave American service members… We pray for the families of our fallen warriors. We grieve with them, we honor them, and we will always continue to support them.”
(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A Colorado middle school’s decision to expel a 12-year-old student for wearing a Gadsden flag patch has ignited a fierce wave of criticism, including from prominent Democrat officials.
The incident, which occurred at The Vanguard Secondary School in Colorado Springs, drew widespread attention after being brought to light in a viral Twitter thread by Connor Boyack, president of the Libertas Institute.
The student, identified as Jaiden, was reportedly removed from his class and subsequently expelled due to his refusal to remove a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag patch.
The school administration claimed that the patch was “disruptive to the classroom environment” and falsely stated that the flag’s origins were tied to slavery. However, as Boyack pointed out in a series of tweets, historical records indicate that the Gadsden flag originated during the Revolutionary War and was not associated with slavery.
Boyack’s tweets also addressed the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which acknowledged the non-racial context of the Gadsden flag’s origins while noting its occasional interpretation as conveying racially charged messages.
Of particular interest was the school director’s assertion that the flag was linked to “hate groups.” Boyack criticized the director’s argument, highlighting a source that cited a “graphic design scholar” and an article suggesting that the flag has been perceived as a symbol of hate or racism.
The disturbing news of Jaiden’s ousting from the school even prompted a response from Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat.
“Obviously the Gadsden flag is a proud symbol of the American revolution and a iconic [sic] warning to Britain or any government not to violate the liberties of Americans,” Polis tweeted. “It appears on popular American medallions and challenge coins through today and Ben Franklin also adopted it to symbolize the union of the 13 colonies. It’s a great teaching moment for a history lesson!”
Even infamous Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., chimed in to defend the patch. “I oppose banning the Gadsden flag in schools for the same reason I oppose conservative schools districts that ban LGBTQ flags in schools,” Lieu stated. “Let kids be their authentic selves and give them a world of information—students can figure out what’s important to them.”

Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the program in a letter to President Joe Biden, and made an official request that the federal government give work authorization to the 100,000 illegal immigrants that entered the state, despite over 380,000 New York citizens in the midst of unemployment, according to the Post Millennial.
The city’s unemployment rate hit 5.3% in July, when the national rate sat at 3.5%.
Hochul also implemented a program prohibiting labor investigations into illegal immigrants in July, setting the stage to further bolster the new jobs program and “directed the New York State Department of Labor (DOL) to help connect asylum seekers to employment opportunities so they can begin working immediately after obtaining federal work authorization.”
In her haste to employ illegal immigrants, Hochul also dedicated $20 million in public funds to speed up paperwork filing for 30,000 illegal migrants.
At this point, the state had already used $1.5 billion to set up shelters, house migrants in fancy hotels, provide healthcare and more. New York officials made several requests for federal aid in attempts to support the average of 10,000 migrants pouring into New York City every month.
Hochul requested additional federal funding in this letter, on top of the $145 million already sent to the state. NYC Democrat Mayor Eric Adams estimated that the crisis would cost $12 billion total.
The federal government also sent temporary shelters to alleviate some strain from the NYC shelter system, which opened 200 shelters to care for 58,000 migrants in response to the surge.
The governor also requested the Biden administration cover the cost of the National Guard stationed throughout the state, which racked up a bill approximately $22 million each month to the state.
Hochul concluded the letter with a swipe at Biden’s bungled border, reminding that “It is the federal government’s direct responsibility to manage and of control the nation’s borders.”
(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced a lawsuit against the Chino Valley Unified School District over a rule requiring school faculty and staff to alert parents if their child changed gender identity or pronouns.
Bonta argued that the rule violated student’s rights, along with civil rights and privacy laws, according to the Daily Mail.
He also claimed that parents involvement in their children’s lives puts transgender and gender-nonconforming students in “danger of imminent, irreparable harm.”
“These students are currently under threat of being outed to their parents against their will, and many fear that the District’s policy will force them to make a choice: either ‘walk back’ their constitutionally and statutorily protected rights to gender identity and gender expression, or face the risk of emotional, physical, and psychological harm,” the press release announcing the suit read.
“The Board’s policy thus unlawfully discriminates against transgender and gender nonbinary students, subjecting them to disparate treatment and harassment, including mental, emotional, and even physical abuse,” the statement claimed.
Several members of the local community protested the rule when it was first decided by the district school board.
The rule closely followed a power shift within the school board, which represented more than 26,000 students in Southern California.
Surrounding districts implemented similar parental notification policies. Bonta stated that they will likely renege on their ruling if the state’s lawsuit against Chino Valley Unified succeeds.
Under the current policy, Chino Valley schools must notify parents within three days of becoming aware of a student changing their pronouns, whether colloquially or on official school records.
Parents also received a notification if their child requested to use different bathrooms, play on different sports teams or other sex-segregated activities.
Chino Valley United Board President, Sonja Shaw, who recently took power, said they anticipated the lawsuit and these are not the first steps the state government took.
“We will stand our ground and protect our children with all we can because we are not breaking the law,’ Shaw said. “Parents have a constitutional right in the upbringing of their children. Period.”
“The FBI has received an average of 92,000 DNA samples per month—over 10 times the historical sample volume,” Wray said at the time.
“When Title 42 ends, the FBI anticipates an additional 50,000 samples per month due to increased DHS detentions. This will eventually bring the total monthly samples received to approximately 120,000—about 1,440,000 samples per year.”
Wray didn’t reveal exactly how big the FBI’s DNA database is when he made his budget request. But on Tuesday, The Intercept published its own analysis, finding that the FBI has amassed 21.7 million DNA profiles—equivalent to about 7 percent of the U.S. population.
According to The Intercept, the FBI initially started collecting DNA from sex offenders in the early 1990s. As with most government programs, the DNA initiative was a slippery slope.
Much of the FBI’s growth is due to a Trump-era rule that mandated the collection of DNA from migrants who were arrested or detained by immigration authorities. But The Intercept noted a slew of other ways in which the DNA collection has expanded against Americans.
“Today, police have the authority to take DNA samples from anyone sentenced for a felony charge,” Intercept reporter Ken Klippenstein explained.
“In 28 states, police can take DNA samples from suspects arrested for felonies but who have not been convicted of any crime,” he said.
“In some cases, police offer plea deals to reduce felony charges to misdemeanor offenses in exchange for DNA samples. Police are even acquiring DNA samples from unwitting people.”
The Intercept added that the FBI’s DNA database was bigger than even China’s until recently—though it’s not clear how the publication would know this, as it relied on a 2017 report from BBC about the matter.
In her book, First Platoon, Pulitzer Prize finalist Annie Jacobsen chronicled the history of the FBI’s biometric data collection, starting with the bureau’s pioneering work on fingerprint analysis.
Her book largely focused on the U.S. military’s program to collect biometric data on the entire Afghanistan population, but she ended the book by warning that the U.S. is rapidly approaching China’s level of authoritarian bio-surveillance.
“The argument that what is happening in China—that is, the mandatory data-banking of a whole population’s biodata, including DNA—could never happen in America is an optimistic one,” Jacobsen said in her book, which was published in early 2021.
“The pandemic of 2020 has resulted in enthusiasm for government-led contact-tracing programs in the U.S., opening the door for military-grade programs to data-bank biodata of Americans,” she added.
“Because disease lies at the center of this new threat, the reality that citizens’ DNA cell samples are of interest to the government is no longer science fiction.”
