Haitian Illegal Responsible for Bus Crash that Ejected Child on 1st Day of School

'Their goal is to let in as many poorly vetted illegal aliens as possible, often without proper GPS tracking or scheduled court appearances...'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A Haitian illegal immigrant has been arrested for allegedly causing a deadly school-bus crash in Ohio earlier this month, Breitbart reported.

Hermanio Joseph, 35, crashed into and flipped a school bus full of children, leading to at least 23 injuries—at least one of them serious—and the death of 11-year-old Aidan Clark, who was ejected from the overturning bus.

On Aug. 22, Joseph crashed into the Northwestern Local Schools bus full of children on their way to the first day of the new school year.

His eastbound Honda Odyssey minivan went into the lane of the westbound bus, which veered onto the shoulder but was unable to avoid contact with the minivan and overturned.

The crash took place in Clark County, Ohio. Joseph was driving without a valid American driver’s license.

On Monday, Joseph appeared in the Clark County Municipal Court, where he was indicted on a charge of vehicular manslaughter and one charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Additional charges may eventually be leveled, pending the completion of the investigation.

According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, Joseph crossed the U.S.–Mexico border in August 2022.

Though he was detained by the Department of Homeland Security upon his crossing, President Joe Biden‘s DHS proceeded to release Joseph into the United States, where he eventually ended up in Ohio.

John Fabbricatore, an advisory board memeber for the National Immigration Center for Enforcement, said that Joseph and others like him are in the country because of the president’s costly catch-and-release border control program.

“The Biden administration’s ‘welcome and release’ agenda continues to put our communities at risk,” noted Fabbricatore, who formerly worked for ICE.

“Their goal is to let in as many poorly vetted illegal aliens as possible, often without proper GPS tracking or scheduled court appearances,” he added. “When will this administration put public safety first, or is mass migration more important?”
