Over 215,000 Illegals Tried to Enter America in August

(, The Center Square) – At least 215,908 foreign nationals were apprehended or reported evading capture after illegally entering the southwest border in August, according to preliminary Border Patrol data obtained by The Center Square.

This includes at least 187,553 apprehensions and 28,355 gotaways. “Gotaways” is the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection term that refers to the number of people known and reported to illegally enter the U.S. between ports of entry who intentionally try to evade capture and don’t return to Mexico. In August, the most gotaways were reported in the Tucson and Rio Grande Valle sectors. Notably, with most Yuma agents pulled out of the field to deal with an influx of people arriving at open areas of the border wall, gotaway numbers reported by agents last month were extremely low, which is out of the ordinary.

CBP doesn’t publicly report gotaway data. The data was obtained by The Center Square from a U.S. Border Patrol agent who provided it on condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation. It only includes Border Patrol data and excludes Office of Field Operations data. Total numbers are higher once OFO data is included.

As of September 5, the preliminary data for August in the nine southwest border sectors include:

Of top five stations with the most foot traffic, three were in Texas. By volume, Eagle Pass, Texas, had the most, followed by Ajo, Arizona, McAllen and Rio Grande City, Texas, and Santa Teresa, New Mexico, just west of El Paso.

The Eagle Pass station reported 23,378 apprehensions last month, followed by Ajo’s 20,600, McAllen’s 17,167, Rio Grande City’s 15,128, and Santa Teresa’s 12,148. Combined, the busiest stations reported 11,871 gotaways.

Apprehensions refer to those who illegally enter the U.S. and surrender or are caught by Border Patrol agents. Turnbacks refer to those who illegally enter but turn back to Mexico. The gotaway data indicates where foreign nationals are detected illegally entering the U.S., at the Mexican border or farther north in the interior.

Unclassifiable detection isn’t part of 6 U.S. Code, which specifies how encounters are to be reported. It means agents, for a range of reasons, couldn’t determine citizenship. No-violations are individuals “deemed to have committed no infraction and don’t affect Got-Away statistics,” according to the internal tracking system Border Patrol agents use.

The gotaway data is believed to be much higher than reported because it doesn’t include unknown and unrecorded gotaways. With the majority of agents no longer in the field, they are unable to detect how many are getting through. Agents have explained to The Center Square they have no idea how many gotaways there really are in the U.S., who or where they are.

Fani Willis’s Black Panther Father Was Live-In Lover w/ Commie Radical Angela Davis

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) The father of the Fulton County district attorney prosecuting Donald Trump wasn’t just a former Black Panther Party founder, but also the live-in lover of notorious 1960s radical activist Angela Davis, a two-time vice-presidential candidate for the Communist Party.

John Floyd III, the father of District Attorney Fani Willis, let slip during an interview that during the 1960s he was shacking-up with Davis, according to the Washington Examiner.

Floyd, who reportedly raised Willis as a single-dad and still maintains daily contact with her, explained his conjugal relationship with Davis during the ’60s.

“At that time, I was dating Angela Davis, and she and I were actually living together,” Floyd said during a rambling discussion about his exploits with infamous black activists Huey Newton, Bobby Seale and Stokely Carmichael.

In its breaking reporting earlier this month on Floyd’s relation to Fani Willis, the New York Post noted Floyd had “dated” Davis.

The Examiner expanded on that reporting in detail to include the pair’s live-in lover relationship based on Floyd’s interview with the Bradley Center for its “Black Panther Archives” series.

Davis has the dubious distinction of being only the third woman to make the FBI’s Most Wanted list after she “was accused of involvement in kidnappings and murders related to the armed seizure of a courthouse in Marin County, California,” the Post reported.

The botched 1970 jailbreak resulted in the killing of Superior Court Judge Harold Haley and three others.

Following 16 months in jail, she was acquitted by a friendly jury and has since enjoyed a distinguished career in left-wing academia while translating her prison time into a powerful tool for even more radical activism.

The radical Marxist trail of social unrest activism that Davis left in her wake has lifted her to icon status with BLM leaders, who consider her an “ideological mentor,” the Examiner reported.

What Fani Willis considers the former live-in lover of her father is unclear, as is any potential biological tie. The opaque history of Willis’s biological mother remains a mystery.

“Willis has claimed she was raised by a ‘single dad’ and it is unclear what happened to her mother,” the Post reported. “Floyd remarried in 1989 but his second wife died in 2012 due to complications from a brain tumor.”

The years in between are equally cloudy, but based on Floyd’s Bradley Center reveal, he was lovers with Davis around 1966 and the two reportedly remained close through their Black Panther activism and leadership roles. Davis was arrested in 1970. Willis was born in 1971.

The Post reported that Davis mentioned Floyd twice in her 1974 memoir, but didn’t say if they dated. Willis told the Post: “You’re not the first time I’ve ever heard that, let’s say that,” apparently in response to a question about Floyd’s relationship with Davis.

COVID-19 Shots Triggered VAIDS Pandemic

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) The new study revealed that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are responsible for a global epidemic of vaccine-acquired immune deficiencies [VAIDS] and the scientists who were not bought by Big Pharma raised the alarm.

Similar to acquired immune deficiencies [AIDS], VAIDS attacks the body’s immune system, which makes people vulnerable to other infections, not just COVID-19, Slay News reported.

The researchers from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, were especially concerned about how Pfizer’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine affects the immune system of a person.

Big Pharma and paid-off shills previously denied VAIDS as a medical condition and called it a conspiracy theory, writing their usual “fact-checks” that are only designed to cover up the truth.

Even though the authors of the study didn’t use the term VAIDS itself, they recognized that the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines caused AIDS.

The study also said that the jab pushed by the establishment caused “a general decrease in cytokine and chemokine responses” to bacteria, fungi and non-coronavirus viruses.

“Our findings suggest SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination could alter the immune response to other pathogens, which cause both vaccine-preventable and non-vaccine-preventable diseases,” the authors of the paper wrote.

They also added that children are the most affected by these vaccines.

“This is particularly relevant in children as they: have extensive exposure to microbes at daycare, school and social occasions; are often encountering these microbes for the first time; and receive multiple vaccines as part of routine childhood vaccination schedules,” the study said.

Professor Retsef Levi, a specialist in risk management and health systems at the MIT, responded to the results of the study by saying that it “adds to cumulative evidence suggesting adverse immune alteration” by COVID-19 vaccination.

“Pfizer’s children trial had more vaccinated hospitalized with illnesses!” he wrote.

Immunologist and computational biologist Jessica Rose also connected the study’s findings to VAIDS, with family physician Dr. Syed Haider echoing this conclusion.

“The psychopaths have injected millions of children. I fear for the future when the parents of these kids realize the consequences of the deception and start seeing their children getting sick & dying,” one of the regular people who read the study said.

‘Where’s Her Husband?’ VP Harris Caught Awkwardly Dancing w/ Prominent Rapper

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris found herself the target of mockery on Saturday as she exhibited awkward dance moves at a White House party while in the presence of rapper Q-Tip.

The event commemorated the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop and featured the attendance of prominent rap artists and cultural icons. However, Harris’s dance performance, characterized by her stiff movements, quickly became a focal point for critics.

Social media platforms were flooded with derisive comments, with some questioning the Biden administration’s priorities in the face of pressing issues such as illegal immigration, inflation, and rising crime rates.

“Kamala Harris with the granny moves at her 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop party,” political commentator Anthony Brian Logan said on Twitter, reported the New York Post on Saturday.

“Where’s her husband?” asked Ada Lluch, a Hispanic-American conservative activist on Twitter.

Harris’s choice of attire, hot pink pants and a neon blouse, also drew the attention of the Post. The tabloid newspaper reported that Harris appeared to bob stiffly in place and nodded her head to the music, leaving many to compare her dance moves to her handling of the border crisis.

“Her dance moves are on a par with her skill level in dealing with our border crisis,” one critic wrote. “Kamala Harris is cringe!” exclaimed Gunther Eagleman, a prominent political commentator.

In a speech during the event, Harris emphasized the significance of Hip-Hop in American culture.

“Hip-hop is the ultimate American art form,” she claimed. “Hip-Hop now shapes nearly every aspect of America’s popular culture, and it reflects the incredible diversity and ingenuity of the American people.”

Harris also drew attention to the influence of Hip-Hop in Latin America. “It combines rhythms from the continent of Africa, from the Caribbean, from Latin America, with the sounds of soul and gospel and R&B and funk to create something entirely new.”

‘They Want Action’: Donalds Issues Dire Warning Amid Biden Impeachment Threats

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a Friday Newsmax interview, Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., intensified the spotlight on the looming impeachment threats against President Joe Biden.

Donalds, a prominent GOP figure and a member of the House Oversight Committee, articulated the escalating evidence fueling discussions of impeachment proceedings. Donalds also faced questions about the lack of accountability against the president.

The frustration voiced by Newsmax host Jenn Pellegrino resonated with many, as she underscored a growing sense of exasperation within the Republican ranks. Pellegrino bluntly stated, “People are getting a little bit tired. They want action. … They just don’t want to hear lip service anymore.” Donalds concurred, emphasizing the consistent obstacles faced when trying to access President Biden’s financial records.

When the possibility of subpoenaing the president’s bank records arose, Donalds approached the subject cautiously, but the implication was clear. The lawmaker said he did not want to speak on topics that might impune the House Oversight Committee, hinting at the seriousness of the allegations.

Donalds stressed the meticulous approach the House Oversight Committee has adopted in their investigations, countering any accusations of a hasty impeachment mission. “You gotta understand what we’ve been doing since we took back the majority is actually letting the evidence speak for itself,” he explained. “We’ve been following the evidence.”

Moreover, Donalds reiterated that their investigative stance has always been evidence-based. “We didn’t walk in at the beginning of this congress, saying, ‘This is our mission to impeach Joe Biden.’ That was not the call.” He further clarified, “The call was, ‘We have suspicious activity reports. Let’s evaluate them and see where they lead us.'”

As the conversation turned to the significance of bank records, Donalds raised pertinent questions, shedding light on the potential financial entanglements.

“Bank records are going to dictate a couple of things,” he noted pointedly. “Where did all this money end up? How many family members got all this money? And was Hunter Biden paying for things for Joe Biden like he said in his text message to his daughter?”

Manhunt Intensifies as Immigrant Fugitive Invades Philadelphia Home w/ Children Inside

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Approximately 400 law enforcement officers are intensively scouring Chester County, Pennsylvania, in a relentless manhunt for an escaped convict.

Danelo Cavalcante had been awaiting transfer to a state facility before he escaped from Chester County Prison on August 31, the New York Post reported on Saturday.

Cavalcante, a Brazilian native who had entered the country illegally, had been sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Deborah Brandao. The gruesome incident unfolded in front of Brandao’s traumatized children, aged 7 and 3.

Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens expressed the urgency of the situation, saying, “We pulled more people in through the night last night. We have got numerous tactical teams that are out doing searches.”

Recent developments indicate that Cavalcante has been seen in the vicinity, with two confirmed sightings reported on Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the search area has expanded, spanning from Conservatory Rd. to State Route 52 and Street Rd. to Longwood Rd., as authorities attempt to close in on the fugitive.

Disturbing security footage captured Cavalcante entering the home of a Philadelphia family, where children were present.  This alarming breach of security has intensified concerns among residents and law enforcement, highlighting the urgency of capturing Cavalcante.

Adding to the turmoil surrounding this case, it has been revealed that a tower guard at Chester County Prison was fired for negligence. According to the Post, the guard claimed he did not witness the escape and failed to report the missing felon.

Cavalcante’s criminal history extends beyond U.S. borders, with charges related to a 2017 murder in Brazil prompting his migration to America.

DOJ Allegedly Pressured Proud Boys Leader to Flip on Trump: Report

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the Proud Boys, made startling allegations during a tell-all interview just days before he is set to begin his 22-year prison sentence.

Tarrio claimed in a Friday interview with the Gateway Pundit that federal authorities pressured him to falsely implicate former President Donald Trump to secure his release.

“They asked me to lie about President Trump in order to indict him,” Tarrio asserted. “I told them to pound sand, and because I refused to lie about President Trump it cost me twenty-two years of my life.”

In the interview, Tarrio detailed that he could have avoided a trial. “The truth is, I could have been home,” he  added. “I could have been home a long time ago. I could be in my warm ass bed right now, laughing at the world, without a problem… and all I had to do in order to do that was lie about Trump. All I had to do was confirm a lie.”

These shocking allegations come in the wake of Tarrio’s sentencing for seditious conspiracy and his role in leading what the DOJ claimed to be a failed attempt to overturn the 2020 election of Joe Biden. Tarrio is slated to serve the longest sentence among individuals associated with the Capitol breach.

In addition, Tarrio’s claims coincide with reports that Attorney General Merrick Garland delayed pursuing charges against former Trump to first prosecute the protestors. As reported by the New York Times in April 2022, this move drew the ire of Biden, who had initially pushed for a more aggressive stance against Trump.

Tarrio’s mother, Zuny Duarte Tarrio, held a press conference on Thursday in which she accused the DOJ of using her son as a pawn to stifle opposition to Biden.

“I think that’s the best person they could have got,” Duarte Tarrio said after calling the DOJ’s prosecution of her son a “witch” hunt. “Giving him 22 years and putting everything out there shuts many people up.”

Despite not being present at the January 6th protest, the DOJ labeled Tarrio the “primary organizer” of the event.

The Tarrio family launched a legal fundraiser to fund an appeal of his 22 year sentence. As of September 8, they have raised nearly $40,000.

SELLERS: Jimmy Buffett’s Catchy Last Single Has a Profound Hidden Meaning

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) In spite of having known that Jimmy Buffett had canceled shows recently due to serious health concerns, I found myself taking the 76-year-old’s passing last week due to skin cancer particularly hard.

I counted myself a fan, having long-ago, in my youth, formed personal connections with many of his greatest hits and having reviewed him at a fantastic Labor Day weekend show 15 years ago in Virginia. But I was not, by any stretch, what one would call a “Parrot Head.”

Buffett occupied a fittingly casual and unassuming spot in my life, as the soundtrack to a few happy memories and nothing more, while his mid-life memoir, A Pirate Looks at Fifty (technically, published two-thirds of the way through his mortal coil, in 1998), had spent a quarter-century collecting dust on my bookshelf without ever having been cracked open.

Still, Buffett seemed to exude life and embrace a spirit of adventure—like a modern-day Ernest Hemingway but more cheery and fun-loving than depressive and hyper-masculine. One takes for granted that such buoyant, seemingly invincible individuals will always be around.

I loved the music of Robbie Robertson just as much, but felt nothing like the sense of shock when the longtime front-man for The Band passed away last month.

With Buffett, however, I found myself sitting poolside as the news broke on Twitter and knew there was but one way to mourn.

Many others undoubtedly shared my sense of grief and shock at the fading of one more glimmer of sunshine in an otherwise increasingly dismal world.

“If it were possible to have a sad day in Margaritaville, today would be the day,” the Babylon Bee noted in its article “Margaritaville Orders All Little Umbrellas To Be Flown At Half-Staff.”

Fortunately for fans, Buffett was also a self-identified “plate-spinner,” whose creativity and work-ethic meant he always had multiple projects in the works at any given time, right down to the very end.

On Friday, three singles were posthumously released as part of his forthcoming album, Equal Strain on All Parts—presumably the final planned album of original, new material— which is due for a November release.

The album features guest appearances by luminaries including Paul McCartney, Emmylou Harris and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, hailing from New Orleans’s French Quarter—where Buffett, himself, first launched his musical career busking on Bourbon Street.

McCartney plays bass on a track titled “My Gummie Just Kicked In,” but in an online tribute he praised another of the singles, “Bubbles Up,” as being “probably the best I’ve heard him sing ever.”

A post shared by Paul McCartney (@paulmccartney)

Such high praise from the legendary Beatle great undoubtedly will draw attention to the song and elevate its standing as, perhaps, Buffett’s final swan song, so to speak.

Vulture called it “the most poignant of the tracks, a sweet inspirational ballad full of Buffett’s signature nautical imagery in service of a soothing and uplifting message.”

It refers to the titular phrase as a “scuba diving metaphor,” and McCartney refers to it as “a diving phrase that is used to train people under water.”

For Buffett, though, “bubbles up” was quite literally a life-defining mantra.

He recounts in A Pirate Looks at Fifty how it was those two simple words that helped him to emerge, relatively unscathed, from a 1994 plane crash while flying home from a fishing trip off Nantucket.

“What I had learned years earlier at the U.S. Navy flight-survival school in Norfolk, Virginia, saved my life, pure and simple,” Buffett wrote.

He had attended the grueling, weeklong training program as part of an agreement with Navy Admiral James “Red” Best, the end result of which was that Buffett would be allowed to fly in the backseat of an F-14 Tomcat during Navy training exercises in Key West.

“As I was strapped in for my ride down the rails, Red banged me on the helmet, looked me straight in the eyes, and shouted, ‘Remember, rock star, bubbles up!'”

As the disoriented Buffett later struggled to find his way out of the cockpit in his Grumman Widgeon Seaplane, the Lady of the Waters, Red’s advice came bubbling up in his memory.

“Now I dove down into the murky waters of Madaket Harbor that filled the cockpit of my plane and searched with my hands for the window and the latches,” he wrote.

“Finally I found them and was able to unscrew them and open the window,” he continued. “With what little air I had left in my aching lungs, I exhaled and followed those bubbles back up to the air pocket.”

The lyrics offer little indication of Buffett’s own associations with this phrase, instead turning it into a celebration of life that even suggests a champagne toast.

“Let’s pop a cork to the rough and the right, to the bright blazing days and the sweet, starry nights,” he sings.

Ultimately, the potency of the song is how it reflects on Buffett’s own legacy and philosophy—a life lived in true fearlessness and authenticity but then distilled and sanitized for the joy and pleasure of the masses, leaving only the levity and none of the fear, suffering, pain and mundanity that loomed beneath the surface.

Epilogue: Since running the piece, it has come to my attention that Buffett was more politically active in left-wing politics than I had previously been aware.

That included his outspoken support for Andrew Gillum, the George Soros-backed gay crackhead who nearly defeated Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in 2018.

Unfortunately, this does complicate Buffett’s legacy in many ways, and readers who cannot see past his politics are justified in wishing him a special place in hell.

However, as may also be the case with “Rich Men North of Richmond” singer Oliver Anthony, who disavowed the MAGA movement shortly after I wrote about his overnight rise to fame, the views of the singer and the meaning of the music don’t necessarily have to be reconciled with one another.

Buffett spent 50 years as an idle jetsetter hopping from one high-end vacation spot to the next while maintaining a regular tequila buzz, so it is unsurprising that his political views were tainted by his sphere of influence.

At the same time, I won’t cast aside the lifetime’s worth of joy his music has brought to people of all political persuasions for his ill-advised decision to go public with his Trump Derangement Syndrome. But it will give me second thoughts about purchasing his final album.

Army Veteran Sues VA Consulting Firm for Defrauding Disabled Veterans

(, The Center Square) – A U.S. Army veteran from Texas has filed a federal class action lawsuit against a North Carolina-based business she says has overcharged thousands of veterans.

Army veteran Jennifer Ford contends the VA claims consulting business Veterans Guardian, based in Pinehurst, has used deceptive practices and charged exorbitant fees to help thousands of veterans in North Carolina and beyond to increase their disability benefits in violation of state and federal laws.

Ford filed a class action lawsuit and demand for a jury trial on Sept. 1 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina with the help of attorney Jeff Osterwise, senior counsel with the Philadelphia-based law firm Berger Montague.

The lawsuit, which was referred to mediation on Tuesday, seeks “actual damages, statutory damages of not less than $500 but no more than $4,000 for each violation, declaratory and injunctive relief, and attorney’s fees and costs.” A summons was issued for Veterans Guardian on Friday.

The complaint reads in part, “This case is about illegal fees charged to disabled United States Military veterans by an unaccredited North Carolina-based company, Veterans Guardian. The fees are extracted from victims’ Disability Compensation benefits paid through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.”

And, “Despite its name, Veterans Guardian in fact preys on disabled veterans by unfairly and deceptively taking tens of millions of dollars of their disability benefits in violation of Federal law, the North Carolina Unfair and Deceptive Trades Practices Act, and the North Carolina Debt Collection Act.”

Ford, who lives in Texas, was honorably discharged from the Army in 2009 and received a 60% disability rating and monthly payment from the VA before contacting Veterans Guardian in 2022 for help to increase her claim by including post-traumatic stress disorder.

PTSD is a condition arising from shocking, dangerous or terrifying experiences including war, disasters, physical or sexual assault or abuse, fires, car crashes, etc.

Veterans Guardian drafted her VA claim and coached her for a private medical exam and VA Compensation and Pension Examination, successfully increasing her monthly benefit payment, according to Ford.

The fee Veterans Guardian charged for the services was $1,800, or five times the $360 monthly increase. A second claim in 2022 for high blood pressure was also approved by the VA with Veterans Guardian’s help, resulting in another $300 per month in benefits and a $1,500 fee, according to the lawsuit.

Federal law prohibits accredited agents or attorneys from charging fees based on increasing a veteran’s monthly disability compensation, allowing them to charge only a maximum of one-third of back pay or past due benefits, according to the lawsuit. The litigation asserts Veterans Guardian is not accredited as required by law to process claims.

The suit includes an email from Veterans Guardian that linked Ford to online VA claim forms that were fully prepared by Veterans Guardian, as well as another email suggesting the company has done the same for 25,000 other claims over a two-year timeframe.

Veterans Guardian, which has faced similar accusations from the American Legion and questions from federal lawmakers, responded to a request for comment from The Center Square with a link to a prepared statement on the company’s website.

“Veterans Guardian categorically denies the false accusations of the lawsuit recently filed against us by attorneys who benefit from a broken Department of Veteran Affairs and a clogged veterans benefits system,” the statement read in part. “Contrary to the baseless claims of wrongdoing, Veterans Guardian provides ethical and transparent assistance that veterans can choose to use to obtain benefits to which they are entitled, but often have difficulty accessing through other available means due to a complicated and bureaucratic process.”

At time of publication Friday, The Center Square’s messages to Osterwise had not been returned.

US and Canada Challenge China by Sailing Through Taiwan Straight

(Headline USA) The U.S. and the Canadian navies sailed two warships through the Taiwan Strait on Saturday, in a challenge to China‘s sweeping territorial claims.

The USS Ralph Johnson and the Royal Canadian Navy Halifax-class frigate HMCS Ottawa sailed through the narrow band of ocean that separates China and self-ruled Taiwan, according to the U.S. Navy’s 7th Fleet. Beijing claims Taiwan as part of its territory to be reunited by force if necessary, and views transits by the U.S. Navy and its allies as provocative actions.

The cruisers “transited through a corridor in the Strait that is beyond the territorial sea of any coastal state,” the Navy statement said.

The U.S. routinely sails through the strait in what it calls “freedom of navigation” operations.

China has stepped up its military activities around Taiwan, including sending warships and warplanes on a near daily basis.

In June, the U.S. released a video in which a Chinese navy ship cut sharply across the path of an American destroyer, forcing the U.S. vessel to slow to avoid a collision.

The U.S. ship also was conducting a transit with a Canadian vessel.

China said it tracked both ships throughout their entire transit and its forces “dealt with the situation according to law and regulation,” said Senior Col. Shi Yi, spokesperson for the People Liberation Army’s Eastern Theater Command in a statement.
