‘They Want Action’: Donalds Issues Dire Warning Amid Biden Impeachment Threats

'People are getting a little bit tired...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a Friday Newsmax interview, Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., intensified the spotlight on the looming impeachment threats against President Joe Biden.

Donalds, a prominent GOP figure and a member of the House Oversight Committee, articulated the escalating evidence fueling discussions of impeachment proceedings. Donalds also faced questions about the lack of accountability against the president.

The frustration voiced by Newsmax host Jenn Pellegrino resonated with many, as she underscored a growing sense of exasperation within the Republican ranks. Pellegrino bluntly stated, “People are getting a little bit tired. They want action. … They just don’t want to hear lip service anymore.” Donalds concurred, emphasizing the consistent obstacles faced when trying to access President Biden’s financial records.

When the possibility of subpoenaing the president’s bank records arose, Donalds approached the subject cautiously, but the implication was clear. The lawmaker said he did not want to speak on topics that might impune the House Oversight Committee, hinting at the seriousness of the allegations.

Donalds stressed the meticulous approach the House Oversight Committee has adopted in their investigations, countering any accusations of a hasty impeachment mission. “You gotta understand what we’ve been doing since we took back the majority is actually letting the evidence speak for itself,” he explained. “We’ve been following the evidence.”

Moreover, Donalds reiterated that their investigative stance has always been evidence-based. “We didn’t walk in at the beginning of this congress, saying, ‘This is our mission to impeach Joe Biden.’ That was not the call.” He further clarified, “The call was, ‘We have suspicious activity reports. Let’s evaluate them and see where they lead us.'”

As the conversation turned to the significance of bank records, Donalds raised pertinent questions, shedding light on the potential financial entanglements.

“Bank records are going to dictate a couple of things,” he noted pointedly. “Where did all this money end up? How many family members got all this money? And was Hunter Biden paying for things for Joe Biden like he said in his text message to his daughter?”
