Sen. Kennedy Quotes LGBT Grooming Porn, Sends Hearing into Cringe Crisis

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Using sexually explicit and graphic excerpts pulled from books that leftists want made available to kids in public schools and libraries, Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., shredded any pretense surrounding the radical LGBT grooming material.

During a U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday over books that critics claim homophobic and trans-prejudiced conservative politicians and concerned parents want banned from libraries, Kennedy used two of the books as examples to devastating effect.

“The first one is called All Boys Aren’t Blue and I will quote from it,” Kennedy said, and did, starting with “I put some lube on and got him on his knees,” and continuing with a whole raunch-filled passage.

In case the point was missed, Kennedy also quoted directly from the book Gender Queer, leading with “I got a new strap-on harness today,” and devolving into graphic and sexually explicit detail.

“What are you asking us to do? Are you suggesting that only librarians should decide whether the two books that I just referenced should be available to kids?” Kennedy asked Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias.

The leftist lawmaker was trying to defend his state’s new law that goes into effect next year and will defund libraries that decline to make LGBT grooming materials available to youths, what critics have called book bans.

“With all due respect, senator, the words you spoke are disturbing, especially coming out of your mouth, it’s very disturbing. But what I’d also tell you is we’re not advocating for kids to read porn,” Giannoulias deflected.

When pressed by Kennedy to explain, “What are you advocating for?” the secretary dug himself an even more opaque hole.

“We are advocating for parents, random parents, not to have the ability under the guise of keeping kids safe to try and challenge the world view on every single manner on these issues,” Giannoulias rambled.

“I’m saying that when individual parents get to draw that line … it becomes a slippery slope,” he said, falling back on comparing a rape scene in To Kill a Mockingbird to strapping up with a new dildo in Gender Queer.

Kennedy’s search for a direct answer was similarly thwarted by a LGBT activist who argued the grooming material should be made available if amorphous committees deemed it so, and it was cloaked as educational.

“Students who do not read books like All Boys Aren’t Blue cannot learn what is appropriate,” said the activist, who noted the book dealt with sexual abuse.

“I understand that, but none of you want to answer my question. You come here and you say censorship is bad. And of course it’s bad,” Kennedy responded. Noting the graphic nature of the books being cited weren’t comparative to The Catcher in the Rye, Kennedy asked again who leftists think should get to decide what books are appropriate for children.

“All I’ve heard is it’s the librarians and parents have nothing to do with it. And if that’s your response, what planet did you just parachute in from, or what country more appropriately. This is not China,” Kennedy concluded after failing to receive a straight answer.

Calls Amplify for Using 25th Amendment to Remove Biden from Office

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday reiterated his call for Congressional Republicans to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Joe Biden from office, citing the president’s policy of capitulation in his $6-billion mishandling of an Iran prisoner exchange.

But Trump wasn’t the first of the week to sound the incompetence alarm on Biden, and he wasn’t alone in his assessment of the enfeebled president, when he wrote “call out the 25th Amendment, NOW! Biden is INCOMPETENT!” in a blistering Tuesday post on Truth Social.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, on Monday presaged Trump’s original call for using the 25th Amendment, but based it on Biden’s horrifying performance during a press conference in Vietnam.

The adventures in senility hadn’t even started before Biden had gaffed his way up the short staircase of Air Force One, embarking on a whirlwind overseas tour that his handlers had showcased as a chance to display Biden’s physical stamina and mental fitness.

The trip devolved into a full-blown communications calamity when Biden went off script during a press conference where he was instructed to call on only pre-screened journalists. Instead, the event was brought to a sudden end as his handlers cut Biden’s microphone mid-ramble and cued up schmaltzy jazz tunes to accompany his abrupt and confusing exit.

In addition to dredging up his already much-maligned “dogface pony soldier” nonsense, the apparently cognitively addled Biden opened the press event by insulting his hosts with a bizarre misattributed line from the hit movie Good Morning, Vietnam.

“One of my staff members said, ‘Remember the famous song Good Morning Vietnam?’ Well, good evening, Vietnam!” Biden told blundered, calling the Robin Williams movie a song.

“Biden is out in Vietnam talking about lying dog-faced pony soldiers again,” warned Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo. “This is how he represents us on the world stage. I don’t see how other countries ever respect us again.”

Calls to oust Biden using the 25th Amendment over issues of incompetence from his mishandling of the $6-billion hostage swap and cognitive stumbles overseas followed in the wake of a CNN poll that revealed a series of brutal reality checks for Biden. The poll showed only 26% of Americans think Biden has the cognitive capacity to serve effectively as president.

Tim Scott and ‘Non-Existent’ Girlfriend Come Under Scrutiny

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., is facing intense scrutiny from Republican donors and a leftist newspaper regarding his secretive and unusual love life, as revealed in a comprehensive report.

The Washington Post delved on Tuesday into Scott’s romantic affairs, following campaign manager Jennifer DeCasper’s 2022 claims that Scott’s love life was “nonexistent.” Scott later contradicted DeCasper when he claimed to have a girlfriend in May 2022. But in August 2022, DeCasper doubled down on her initial assertion that Scott was single.

“I probably have more time, more energy and more latitude to do the job,” Scott said when asked about the possibility of becoming the first bachelor president since the 1800s. “My girlfriend wants to see me when I come home,” he added, as an aside, the WashPost claimed.

Scott’s romantic life also drew the attention of a Republican voter. In August, a voter pressed DeCasper about why the senator doesn’t bring his alleged girlfriend to campaign events. “That’s because he’s single,” DeCasper explained, yet again contradicting Scott’s assertion in May.

Behind the scenes, DeCasper reportedly advised Scott that his Republican’s traditional approach to relationships was outdated. “Honey, it’s two-thousand-whatever, you’re fine,” she told Scott.

The WaPo also drew comparisons between Scott’s singleness and the last GOP bachelor to run for president, Sen. Lindsey Graham, his partner senator from South Carolina. Before Graham, Grover Cleveland, who won the presidency in 1883, was the last unmarried Republican to hold the office. Graham himself has faced questions about his own love life.

This scrutiny comes at a time when former President Barack Obama is also facing allegations in a tell-all interview with Tucker Carlson where a man claimed to have engaged in drug-filled sexual encounters with then-Illionis State Senator Obama. However, the man has provided no evidence to support his claims.

Conservatives have debated whether Scott’s lack of a wife could deter Republican voters. Bob V. Plaats, the head of the conservative Family Leader group, commented, “But I think our country is at the point where being married isn’t the top qualifier. It probably doesn’t make the Top 50.”

Brian Moniz, a childhood friend, revealed that Scott tends to prioritize his political career over his romantic relationships.

“It’s been a challenge, mainly for the females in his life over the years,” Moniz admitted. “They get put on the back burner. Women have hung around for a while, and they realize they’re not going to be the top priority right now.”

DHS Pay Community Orgs $20M to Target Conservatives as Potential ‘Violent Extremists’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) In the run-up to the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, the Department of Homeland Security announced $20 million in federal grants to organizations to “prevent targeted violence and terrorism.” But the grant money won’t be used to combat terrorist groups like al Qaeda or ISIS, and instead will be used to target conservatives as “violent extremists” and terrorists.

The DHS funded 34 organizations “to identify political dissidents and foster interventions among those Americans considered to be ‘going down a path toward violence,'” according to reporting by an independent journalist Leo Hohmann.

Universities, behavioral and mental health providers, youth services organizations, schools, churches, faith leaders and state law enforcement agencies were among the organizations that received the $20 million from DHS to punish enemies of the Biden regime. The groups were tasked with targeting anyone who voiced dissent against the accepted narrative regarding COVID-19 tyranny, immigration, LGBT propaganda, murdering babies in the womb and other actions by considering them potential “violent extremists.”

The funding came from the DHS Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, which is also known as CP3. The program launched in 2020 and, as of September 2023, had awarded $70 million in grants to private nonprofits and state and local government agencies.

“[The CP3 program] helps to prevent targeted violence and terrorism” by bringing together “mental health providers, educators, faith leaders, public health officials, social services, nonprofits and others in communities across the country to help people who may be escalating to violence,” a DHS press release obfuscated.

“This all sounds wonderful, until you figure out that it’s not focused on actual terrorists or drug cartel members who slip into our country every day from across wide-open borders with intent to harm Americans,” Hohmann wrote.

“It’s focused on spying on law-abiding Americans who the government considers dangerous simply because of their views on various political or social issues.”

Among the obscure 2023 grant program’s priorities were the advancement of equity in awards and engaging “underserved communities” in prevention;  addressment of online aspects of targeted violence and terrorism; prevention of domestic violent extremism; and enhancement of local threat assessment and management capabilities, according to the DHS website.

“A dangerous precedent with inroads to tyrannical communism. Beware – those in power care nothing about the constitution or the rights it gives us. Once they’ve subdued political rivals, all the rest will be expected to relinquish their rights as well,” one commentator  tweeted in response to the revelations produced in Hohmann’s reporting.

McConnell Hushes as House Launches Impeachment Probe of His ‘Friend’ Biden

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s recent silence on the impending impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, a self-proclaimed friend, has raised eyebrows, as he appears to reverse his earlier stance on the matter.

McConnell, who has previously ran for cover for the scandal-plagued president, said on Tuesday, “I don’t think Speaker McCarthy needs any advice from the Senate on how to run the House.” However, just a few weeks ago, McConnell staunchly opposed the impeachment of Biden.

“Impeachment ought to be rare,” he declared in statements to the New York Times on Aug. 8, before adding “This is not good for the country.” However, his recent refusal to offer any advice or guidance to his House colleagues suggests a different perspective.

When queried about his earlier remarks, McConnell evaded the question and declined to provide any input to his House counterparts, according to Fox News.

“They’ve got a totally different set of challenges than we do,” McConnell responded before claiming that House Republicans do not need his advice.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s announcement of a formal impeachment inquiry against Biden sent a scathing message to the White House, further weakening the already embattled president.

McCarthy stated that the inquiry would empower House committees to thoroughly investigate allegations of Biden’s involvement in his family’s foreign business dealings.

McConnell’s sudden shift could be attributed to his own political turmoil. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, R-Ga., demanded McConnell’s resignation from Senate Republican leadership following his second health scare.

“Severe aging health issues and/or mental health incompetence in our nation’s leaders MUST be addressed,” Green said, before drawing attention to the age of American politicians in leadership positions. “Biden, McConnell, Feinstein, and Fetterman are examples of people who are not fit for office and it’s time to be serious about it.”

Prominent conservatives echoed Greene’s remarks against McConnell on several posts on Twitter. “Time for Senate GOP to remove McConnell from leadership,” said Mark Levin, a legal scholar and popular Fox News host.

In contrast, Biden rushed to defend McConnell going as far as calling him a “friend.” Shortly after McConnell’s second freeze-up, Biden claimed, “Mitch is a friend, as you know — not a joke. … I know people don’t believe that the case, but we have disagreements politically, but he’s a good friend.”

‘Military Grade Tent Basecamps’ for Illegal Aliens in Chicago Expected

(Andrew Hensel, The Center Square) As more non-citizens are set to arrive in Chicago in the coming days, they’ll be greeted with tents. Questions surrounding how the city will afford to pay for the influx of non-citizens persist as other large cities have announced budget cuts.

About 14,000 migrants have arrived in Chicago over the past year. NBC Chicago reported that five more buses of migrants are on their way. Chicago is a sanctuary city where enforcement of federal immigration laws is relaxed.

New York City, the largest city in the United States and also a sanctuary city, has seen migrants arrive in the tens of thousands. New York Mayor Eric Adams recently released a statement announcing that they would have to make budgetary changes to afford caring for the migrants.

“Coupling the costs of a national crisis that has fallen onto New York City with COVID funding that is running out and reduced revenue growth, our city’s financial future may be at risk if we do not act,” Adams said. “Our city continues to receive approximately 10,000 asylum seekers each month, and, as we laid out last month, we anticipate spending $12 billion through the end of Fiscal Year 2025 if circumstances do not change.”

Chicago is expected to spend over $250 million on migrants this year alone. With Windy City finances tight, Mayor Brandon Johnson Friday was asked about the upcoming budget conversations.

“I believe that it is important that everything is on the table, that’s my position,” Johnson said during a forum with the Economic Club of Chicago. “As far as how I am thinking about it, it really is about making sure the priorities that we set position us to grow our economy in the budgets to come.”

So far, Chicago and Illinois taxpayers have set aside $94 million for migrant housing. The state budget has $550 million in taxpayer subsidies for the health care of migrants over the age of 65.

The arrivals have been housed throughout the city, mostly in police stations, while also occupying old YMCA buildings, colleges and even the airport. Recently, Johnson said the city is looking at other towns in the suburbs to help with housing migrants. Friday, Alderman Andre Vasquez said Johnson briefed the city council on a new plan to house the migrants.

“Earlier today, the City Council was briefed on the Mayor’s plan to establish military grade tent basecamps in order to decompress police stations, whose floors are where over 1,500 asylum seekers will be sleeping tonight, as they have for months,” Vasquez said.

Johnson late last month said they will not be able to keep taking care of the migrants without significant help from the federal government.

“Let me state this clearly, the city of Chicago can not go on welcoming new arrivals safely and capably without significant support and immigration policy changes,” Johnson said.

Adams also urged the state and federal government for assistance.

“We need Washington and Albany to finally do their part by paying their fair share and coming up with a decompression strategy that reduces the pressure on New York City, so we are not forced to manage this crisis almost entirely on our own,” Adams said.

Many of the migrants have traveled from Texas, after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott began transporting migrants to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C., in response to President Joe Biden’s immigration policies that have resulted in a surge of illegal border crossings beginning in August of 2022.

EXCLUSIVE: Ex-Oversight Chair Chaffetz Says House GOP is ‘Fighting All the Wrong Fights’

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) President Joe Biden’s apparent declining cognitive ability has voters asking: Who’s really in charge?

Former House Oversight Committee Chair Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, provided that answer in his recently released bestseller, The Puppeteers: The People Who Control the People Who Control America—and no, it’s not Barack Obama.

The Puppeteers by Jason Chaffetz

In the book, Chaffetz—now best known as a Fox News contributor since leaving elected office in 2017—described a dispersed network of power-brokers, ranging from billionaire investment tycoons and shady intelligence operators to mere self-interested bureaucrats.

“It’s not just the people with close proximity to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and other top political leaders,” Chaffetz said Tuesday in an exclusive phone interview with Headline USA.

“It’s a whole group of people who—if you want to find out who they are and what they’re doing, you have to follow the money,” he added. “Money is power.”

One of the more prominent “follow the money” examples cited in The Puppeteers is that of investment firm BlackRock, which has at least a 5% stake in 97.5% of S&P 500 companies—including Fox News.

BlackRock uses this to push leftist policies such as “decarbonization” by, among other ways, influencing the companies’ boards of directors.

Chaffetz also wrote about what could be described as the enforcement arm of the American puppeteers: institutions such as the FBI, which are used to crush political dissent.

Currently, Chaffetz said, the FBI is being largely used to target conservative dissidents—such as parents protesting at school boards over lockdowns, mask mandates and child pornography in schools.

But The Puppeteers also cited the work of investigative journalist Trevor Aaronson, who found that nearly half of the post-9/11 terrorist cases involving Muslims were provoked by undercover FBI informant provocateurs.

“Race-based violence is nothing to be ignored,” Chaffetz wrote in the book. “But it’s not a right–left issue.”

Along with specific individuals and institutions, Chaffetz attacked some of the most sacred ideological cows being used by America’s power brokers—including even the legal theory of “disparate impact” that underpins how the Civil Rights Act is enforced.

Citing the work of Columbia University’s Richard Hanania, Chaffetz noted that disparate impact “criminalizes everything”—referring to the fact that the disparate-impact standard has been used by courts to outlaw things such as fitness tests for law enforcement jobs, on the grounds that such tests favor males.

While identifying the source of many of America’s problems, Chafetz told Headline USA that he admittedly struggles to find solutions.

When it comes to the current Congress, “they’re fighting all the wrong fights,” the former House Oversight Committee chairman lamented.

“That’s what bothers me: We get distracted by this shiny new object very week,” he said, noting that the recent debt-ceiling fight was really just a dispute over less than 10% of the federal budget.

“We haven’t attacked the structural challenges for our government to be responsible and good stewards of our money,” Chaffetz said

But he said he was pleased that the issues outlined in his book were being absorbed by a wider audience of voters. The Puppeteers made the New York Times bestseller list four times.

“I wanted to illuminate things that most people don’t hear or read about,” he said.

“And that’s why it’s satisfying to be selling so many books, because people are shocked,” he continued. “I try to offer solutions, but people have to first know what the problem is.”

Chaffetz also left the door open to attacking the problems identified in The Puppeteers one more time as a member of Congress—this time as a possible challenger to Mitt Romney’s Senate seat.

“I have no immediate plans to do that. But I’ll keep the door open and see what happens,” he told Headline USA.

Political Insiders: Senate RINO Already Chosen in ‘Rigged’ Race to Replace McConnell

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) As Senate Republicans consider life in the upper chamber after the tenure of current minority leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., some suspect that the RINO establishment has already settled on McConnell’s successor, the Daily Caller reported.

Speculation that McConnell might need to be replaced sooner rather than later ramped up after McConnell inexplicably froze up during an interview last July. When it appeared to happen again in August, buzz increased even further.

With McConnell’s health status unclear, many senate Republicans lamented the fact that his successor would almost certainly come from within the Establishment since McConnell holds Senate campaign funds with an iron grip, distributing them only to those who fall into line with his wishes.

“It’s almost impossible for an outsider to win leadership races these days with how much money is controlled by the party leaders on all sides, but the issue is particularly acute with McConnell in the Senate,” an unidentified former Senate aide told the Daily Caller.

“He’s basically the most—at least to the base—the most unimpressive leader that we’ve had in previous decades,” said the source.

The former aide also noted that the Establishment has likely already decided in favor of McConnell’s heir apparent, John Thune, R-S.D., who is the current Senate minority whip.

A current aide noted that another establishment option is Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.

“It will either be Thune or Cornyn, but most likely Thune,” he noted.

Thune and Cornyn would presumably be the favorites of the establishment because they both adopted an anti-Trump posture, particularly in the wake of the 2020 election and its aftermath.

Both senators have the approval of RINOs like Susan Collins, R-Maine, who previously said that though Cornyn would do a “very good job,” Thune is the natural successor to McConnell.

“John Thune presents a great image for our party,” Collins noted.

“He has been involved in a lot of different issues. . . As the second-highest-ranking person in leadership, to me he’s the logical successor.”

In any case, no Republicans have publicly put forward their names so far, and only Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., has suggested moving past the aged Kentucky senator.

POLL: Majority of California Voters Oppose Cash Reparations

(Headline USA) The majority of California voters oppose cash reparations to black Americans, according to a poll released this week.

The survey from the University of California-Berkeley found that 59% of voters in the Golden State either somewhat oppose or strongly oppose cash reparations as a “repayment” for slavery. The only racial demographic that supported the policy was black Americans, with 76% of black voters saying the strongly or somewhat favored the idea.

California is one of several blue states considering reparations payments. The state created a task force in 2020 to study the matter, and in June 2022 the task force released its proposal, which includes cash payments of up to $1.2 million per black resident. In total, the plan would cost California $800 million, 2.5 times more than the state’s annual budget.

When pressed on how the state would afford such an expensive plan, a member of California’s reparations taskforce said the state needs to “chill out” and pay their “sin bill.”

“You cannot put a dollar sign on what has been done to black people,” Dr. Amos Brown, reverend of the Third Baptist Church and vice chair of California’s reparations task force, told Fox News. “Our sin bill in this nation has been so high, and because of the long years of doing nothing, the interest has grown.”

California legislators should at least agree to pay the amount in installments, Brown argued.

“They ought to say, ‘this is what we can afford,’” Brown said. “And if we can’t pay it now, we do like the Germans did – pay for it over installments.”

He also suggested anyone who criticizes or disagrees with the proposal is racist.

“All we’re saying is let’s just chill out and pay your debt – your sin bill of enslavement. Of discrimination. Of intimidation. Of terrorizing black people,” Brown said.

Trump Says GOP Should Use 25th Amendment to Oust ‘Incompetent’ Biden

(Headline USA) Former President Donald Trump called on Republicans to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Joe Biden from office after the Biden administration announced a prisoner swap deal with Iran this week.

On Monday, the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Biden administration informed Congress it had moved forward with a deal with Iran to unfreeze $6 billion in sanctions for the release of five detained Americans.

Trump slammed the deal as evidence that Biden is “incompetent” and mentally unfit to serve.

“So, lets get this straight! We did a hostage TRADE with Iran. We gave them 5 very tough, smart people that they desperately wanted. We likewise got back 5 people BUT, we also gave them 6 BILLION DOLLARS!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The former president, who is running for the GOP nomination to challenge Biden in 2024, also suggested corruption is behind Biden’s deal.

“How much of a kickback does Crooked Joe Biden get? Does anyone realize how much money 6 Billion Dollars is? When I was President, I got back 58 hostages for ZERO money. Remember Pastor Brunson? It sets a TERRIBLE precedent. Republicans, call out the 25th Amendment, NOW! Biden is INCOMPETENT!” he said.

The 25th Amendment, which was ratified in 1967, stipulates the order of succession when a president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

Congressional Republicans have also accused Biden of withholding key details of the Iran deal.

“President Biden has established a secret nuclear deal with the Iranian regime that is being kept from Congress and the American people,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said in a statement.

The Biden administration, however, has denied any wrongdoing.

As we have said from the outset, what is being pursued here is an arrangement wherein we secure the release of 5 wrongfully held Americans,” said National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson.

“This remains a sensitive and ongoing process,” she continued. “We have kept Congress extensively informed from the outset of this process—long before today—and we will continue to do so, including with additional already scheduled briefings this week.”
