Illegals Plant Venezuelan Flag In Texas; Biden’s Approval Plummets

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) On Sept. 25, 2023, illegal immigrants from Venezuela were able to plant their flag on a Texas island because of destructive immigration policies by the [Joe] Biden administration.

Due to this and many other instances when illegals proudly declared through their actions that they planned to invade the United States, Biden started falling in the polls, according to Slay News.

Chris Olivarez, Spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, reported about the unofficial declaration of invasion, posting a video of law enforcement capturing the illegals and taking away the foreign flag.

“The Eagle Pass area continues to experience an influx of illegal immigrants – the majority from Venezuela. Some decided to claim a Texas island by placing a foreign flag – that was quickly taken care of by our DPS Tactical Marine Unit,” he wrote.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin also informed his audience about what happened.

“Illegal immigrants planted a foreign flag on a Texas island in Eagle Pass in the middle of the river. @TxDPS troopers immediately pulled it down,” he wrote.

Things like these led Biden to lose a lot of support from Americans, which may result in a “historic” loss in the 2024 election, as reported by Slay News.

However, it is not only conservative news outlets that think that Biden can lose to Donald Trump. Even the mainstream leftist propaganda that defended Biden as much as possible just a year ago now started telling the truth.

“President Joe Biden’s job approval rating is 19 points underwater, his ratings for handling the economy and immigration are at career lows,” ABC News reported.

The outlet reported that people think they are doing “worse off under [Biden’s] presidency.”

“A record number of Americans say they’ve become worse off under his presidency, three-quarters say he’s too old for another term and Donald Trump is looking better in retrospect — all severe challenges for Biden in his reelection campaign ahead,” ABC News wrote.

Menendez Hires Hunter Biden’s Attorney Amid Corruption Charges

(Headline USA) Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who was indicted last week on federal bribery charges, reportedly hired the lawyer who also represents Hunter Biden.

The embattled Democrat recruited attorney Abbe Lowell as he faces multiple corruption charges.

Lowell represented Menendez back in 2018, when he faced similar charges for allegedly accepting gifts from a Florida eye doctor in exchange for political favors. That case was ultimately dropped after the jury failed to come to a decision.

Lowell is also defending Biden against his Delaware firearm charges and in a civil suit filed against a former Trump administration aide, whom Biden has accused of hacking into his phone data.

Lowell became the lead attorney handling Biden’s case after a sweetheart plea deal brokered with the Justice Department fell apart in court.

Chris Clark, then-head attorney to Biden’s team, withdrew from the case after the collapse, citing the possibility that he could be called as a witness in special counsel David Weiss’s investigation in regards to the plea deal.

Menendez insisted in a press conference on Monday that he was being wrongly targeted, and he denied that he had any intention of stepping down from his U.S. Senate seat.

“I firmly believe that when all the facts are presented, not only will I be exonerated, but I still will be New Jersey’s senior senator,” he claimed.

The Democrat also offered an explanation for the hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash federal investigators discovered in his New Jersey home.

“For 30 years, I have withdrawn thousands of dollars in cash from my personal savings account, which I have kept for emergencies and because of the history of my family facing confiscation in Cuba,” Menendez said. “These were moneys drawn from my personal savings account based on the income I have lawfully derived over those 30 years.”

Investigators said the envelopes in which the cash was stored “contained the fingerprints and/or DNA” of one of the people charged with bribing Menendez.

Clyburn Stops Short of Calling Kamala the ‘Future of the Democratic Party’

(Headline USA) Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., refused to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as “the future” of the Democratic Party over the weekend, arguing she had to earn the role.

Clyburn was asked during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press whether he saw Harris in a longterm leadership position.

“I see her as a part of that future. Absolutely,” the former House whip replied.

“I look to her as a successor to this president, but I also know the history of that as well,” he added. “It’s not a given—you don’t automatically move up. She’ll have to compete going forward with whoever may have dreams and aspirations, and I think she will acquit herself well.”

The South Carolina Democrat has stuck up for Harris in the past, including after former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., declined to endorse Harris as the best vice presidential pick for President Joe Biden heading into 2024.

“I think that Kamala Harris has done a great job,” he said at the time in response to Pelosi’s snub. “People want her in her first term, first two years, to be the kind of vice president that Joe Biden was in the sixth and seventh year of his vice presidency.”

However, Clyburn admitted there have been serious “learning curves” for Harris.

“You aren’t born a United States congressman. You aren’t born a vice president. You’ve got to learn the job,” he claimed. “She got elected, she has learned the job. She is doing the job efficiently and effectively.”

Several other Democratic leaders have stepped forward to publicly defend Harris, suggesting party leadership is worried about Harris’s unpopularity.

Hillary Clinton, for example, insisted on Sunday during an interview with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki that Harris has “done a much better job than she gets credit for.”

“She’s a first,” Clinton said. “I mean, she’s the first woman. She’s the first woman of color. She’s the first daughter of immigrants. I mean, you can go on down the list. “

AOC Breaks w/ Bidenomics: ‘Economy is in Crisis’

(Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-N.Y., admitted this weekend that the U.S. economy is in “crisis,” contradicting President Joe Biden’s claims that his economic agenda is working.

“Our economy is in a special kind of crisis. Our whole economy is in a special kind of crisis,” the “Squad” member said at a union rally in Missouri on Sunday, according to Fox News.

Ocasio–Cortez went on to blast Washington elites who are out of touch with blue-collar workers.

“Now if you ask a Washington insider or a Wall Street analyst, they will tell you, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about,'” she said.

“They’ll say, ‘Look at GDP. Look at the growth rate.’ They’ll say, ‘Look at job numbers. How are we in a crisis?’” she continued. “And that’s an easy thing to say for someone who primarily experiences this economy on paper—who aren’t [sic] choosing between childcare and work, or medicine and rent.”

The New York Democrat said workers “feel the economy in the callouses of our hands” and know that it is failing them.

Ocasio–Cortez’s comments stood in stark contrast to Biden’s re-election pitch, which has revolved largely around his “Bidenomics” agenda.

“Costs are going down,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed, without evidence, earlier this month. “When you think about inflation. When you think about wages going up. That is Bidenomics.”

Economic experts will note that the across-the-board spike in wages actually contributes to the vicious cycle of inflation by forcing an increase in labor costs that get passed on to consumers on top of the previous increases in overhead due to factors such as supply shortages, energy hikes and higher taxes inflicted by the Biden administration.

A Fox News poll in August found that 52% of Americans felt that Biden has made the economy worse, while 25% claimed he had made it better.

When pressed on this poll, Jean-Pierre insisted the polls “don’t show everything” and blamed the pandemic, which ended two years ago, for lingering inflation and high costs.

“Americans are coming out of a pandemic,” she said. “We are dealing with a lot when you think about the economy. But here’s the thing, this is a president who has spent the last two years turning the economy around.”

When convenient, the Biden administration has routinely used the pandemic as a means to give itself more credit than it deserves, such as faulting the prior Trump administration for the job losses and claiming that the resulting job growth that came in the pandemic’s aftermath was all due to Biden’s policies.

Antifa Bullying Forces Multiple Venues in Va. to Cancel Andy Ngo Event

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A journalism conference in Virginia had several venues drop out after the local Antifa group threatened the institutions for hosting journalist Andy Ngo.

Despite the domestic terrorism group’s efforts, the event ultimately went on as scheduled at an undisclosed location.

The Common Sense Society and The Virginia Council planned to host the “Virginia Forum,” featuring Ngo as their keynote speaker in Richmond’s Commonwealth Club, according to Fox News.

Ngo wrote extensively on the connections between Antifa activity in Portland, Oregon, and Richmond, Virginia—one of the many reasons the groups asked him to speak at the conference.

However, the Commonwealth Club faced doxxing and threats from Richmond Antifa leaders after the release of the conference agenda.

Officials at the club cited “the current political climate” as the reason for rejecting the event.

“After careful consideration and in light of the current political climate, the leadership of the Commonwealth Club have made the difficult decision to decline hosting the event,” the club said in an email to event organizers.

“This decision was not made lightly, but the safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our top priority, especially after recent social media posts by radical groups have targeted the event and the location,” it added.

Club officials apologized for the inconvenience to the organizers but said they preferred to keep their employees and guests safe from impending Antifa attacks.

CSS then planned to take their business to the Westin hotel, which also declined to host after social media pressure from Antifa.

“Virginians—particularly Richmonders—desperately need to hear a message of hope as they endure Antifa’s vandalism, bullying, threats and general disregard for public safety,” the organizers said in a statement. “They need to see individuals and businesses courageously stand up for freedom of speech, the rule of law and the well-being of Virginians.”

John Reid, founding chairman of the Virginia Council, explained that the group faced threats like these before and plans to host the event despite the threats.

“The Virginia Council was founded in 2021 to preserve Virginia’s history and promote prosperity and the rule of law in the face of violence and destruction by groups like Antifa, he said. “We were not intimidated in 2021, and we will not be intimidated now. Good things are worth standing up for.”

Reporter Snubbed at Upscale NYC Restaurants for Dressing Like Fetterman

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A reporter from the New York Post recently donned a sweater, a pair of shorts and sneakers and put the dress codes of several New York City restaurants to the test to see if the local eateries had higher dress standards than the halls of Congress.

It came a week after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., ignited controversy for changing the Senate’s longstanding rules of decorum to accommodate slovenly Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., who refuses to dress in anything nicer than a hoodie and gym shorts in the upper chamber.

Journalist Jon Levine attempted to enter several high-end restaurants in his casual wear and faced rejection and scorn from maître d’s across the city, according to the Post.

On the Upper East Side, Levine attempted to enter a restaurant with a seven-course meal priced at $275 and faced brutal rejection.

“He would not be permitted here,” the maître d’ said. “We have turned away guests for being improperly dressed regardless of their occupation.”

Another maître d, this time at the famous Le Bernardin, flatly announced that they do not permit athletic wear in the restaurant, despite walk-in customers typically affording more casual digs.

The wine director, Aldo Sohm, explained that jackets and pants were on loan for their more casual diners.

Double Michelin star Jean-Georges made it clear that it was “impossible” to disobey the dress code, which forbade jeans, sneakers, sweatshirts, and shorts.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s Lady Gaga,” said one maître d, as another stood next to her in stunned silence.

The restauranteurs allowed Levine to use the restroom.

Doormen outside of The Grill, located inside the luxury Four Seasons hotel, physically held the door shut to keep Levine from entering the restaurant.

“If you went and got a pair of jeans it would work,” said Don the doorman, who added, “We treat the billionaires just like millionaires.”

The manager recommended a nearby store to purchase some more appropriate clothing.

Nobu and Gramercy Tavern both allowed Levine onto the premises without a word.

Responding to backlash over the decision to change the Senate dress code on his behalf, Fetterman declared that Republican “jagoffs” would have to put their support behind Ukraine in order for him to start suiting up again.

“If those jagoffs in the House stop trying to shut our government down, and fully support Ukraine, then I will save democracy by wearing a suit on the Senate floor next week,” he tweeted.

U.K.’s Version of Nikole Hannah-Jones Claims Stonehenge Built by Blacks

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Those who thought America was uniquiely “racist” in its origin story can think again.

After using the racial-justice framework to impose critical race theory as a sort of woke religion in the U.S., neo-Marxist radicals are returning to their roots across the pond, where political philosopher Karl Marx first crafted his theories using a class-based prototype.

And it appears more than a millennium of recorded British history is of minor consequence for modern-day revisionists when the ends justify the means.

Race-baiting academics in the United Kingdom are releasing a children’s book claiming, among other things, that blacks built the famous Stonehenge monument, the Daily Mail reported.

Following the lead of Nikole Hannah–Jones—the “1619 Project” author and notorious historical revisionist—the Nigerian-born British author Atinuke penned the new children’s book, titled Brilliant Black British History.

The book, written for children 7 and older, suggests that “every single British person comes from a migrant” and that the “very first Britons were black.”

“Did you know that the first Britons were black? Or that some of the Roman soldiers who invaded and ruled Britain were black, too?” it asks.

“Join this fascinating journey through the ages to meet those first Britons, as well as the black Tudors, Georgians and Victorians who existed in every walk of life here,” it continues.

Among other outlandish claims, Atinuke writes that the Romans only moved to conquer Northern Europe after failing to conquer the African kingdom of Nubia.

Into the Middle Ages, according to the children’s book, Britain and other infant European nations were made up of a “hodgepodge of people,” including “Celts, Romans, Britons, Anglo–Saxons, Vikings, Africans and Normans.”

The book is considered by the Left to be an “eye-opening history of Britain” that illuminates “a part of our past that has mostly been left out of the history books: the brilliant black history of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.”

Atinuke was mocked relentlessly on Twitter for the absurdly revisionist history, packaged as a children’s story.

One Twitter user called the book “fake history.”

Another Twitter user suggested that, if the Left is so intent on studying Africans and magnifying their influence on the course of history, they should study what happened in Africa rather than fabricate fables about Africans to exaggerate their importance in European affairs.

Hillary Clinton Continues Pushing 2016 Russia Hoax in Psaki Interview

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In an interview Sunday with former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton continued to press the Russia-collusion hoax in order to excuse her electoral failures, Red State reported.

Clinton’s brazen decision to double down on what amounted to a seditious coup attempt, concocted by members of her campaign in coordination with the FBI and the Obama administration, comes even as prosecutors contend that former President Donald Trump’s own legitimate efforts to challenge the 2020 election necessitate multiple criminal indictments.

Specifically, Clinton was responding to a statement from Trump that if he were reelected, he would be “very unlikely” to pardon himself.

“I don’t believe him on anything,” Clinton said in her appearance on MSNBC’s Inside with Jen Psaki. “Why would I start believing him on that?”

Clinton then psychoanalyzed the former president, noting that he is suspicious of others because he is worthy of suspicion himself.

“He engages in what psychologists call projection,” she noted, while likely projecting her own projection onto him.

“So whenever he accuses somebody else of doing something, it’s almost guaranteed he’s doing it himself or he’s already done it,” she claimed, while describing with absolute clarity a common phenomenon seen among Democrats.

Clinton, who recently announced a highly suspicious plan to collude with Ukraine—resurrecting for some conspiracy theories about the suspected pedophile ring being operated alongside her 2016 campaign—then pivoted from projection to deflection.

She accused Trump of continuing to collude with Russia, although no evidence has suggested anything of the kind.

“The Russians have proved themselves to be quite adept at interfering, and if he has a chance, he’ll do it again,” she claimed.

“I don’t think—despite all of the deniers—there’s any doubt that he interfered in our election,” she claimed, contrary to the conclusions of the two-year Mueller investigation, which found no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia.

“Part of the reason he worked so hard against me is because he didn’t think that he wanted me in the White House,” she concluded, presumably in reference to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the interview, Clinton also slammed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., for pursuing an impeachment investigation into President Joe Biden.

“There’s no there, there—and in fact, it seems they know there’s no there, there, and sadly, the speaker of the House is too weak to stand up against the most rabid, you know, walk of his members who don’t care what the truth or facts are,” Clinton falsely claimed, again disregarding offhandedly the considerable evidence already presented publicly that shows Biden lied to the public about his knowledge of his son’s foreign business deals and has continued to stonewall efforts to investigate them.

The impeachment inquiry was a Republican attempt to “grandstand and try to cause President Biden problems,” Clinton claimed.

“It’s not a real threat,” she added. “It’s a terrible bother, but more than that, it is a real confession by the Republican Party—they have no agenda, they have no interest in trying to bring people together to solve problems.”

Federal Appeals Court Sets Up Possible SCOTUS Showdown on Trans Healthcare

(Headline USA) A federal appeals court is considering cases out of North Carolina and West Virginia that could have significant implications on whether individual states are required to cover health care for transgender people with government-sponsored insurance.

The Richmond-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments in cases Thursday involving the coverage of transgender care by North Carolina’s state employee health plan and the coverage of gender-transition surgery by West Virginia Medicaid.

During the proceedings, at least two judges said it’s likely the case will eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

Both states appealed separate lower court rulings that found the denial of such discretionary healthcare to be discriminatory and unconstitutional.

Two panels of three Fourth Circuit judges heard arguments in both cases earlier this year before deciding to intertwine the two cases and see them presented before the full court of 15.

Tara Borelli, senior attorney at Lambda Legal—the organization representing transgender people denied services in both states—claimed excluding the coverage was a violation of the 14th Amendment.

“The exclusion here is actually quite targeted, it’s quite specific,” Borelli said in court, arguing that a faithful interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and the equal protection clause ensures transgender people coverage.

“One of the most important things that a court can do is to uphold those values to protect minority rights who are not able to protect themselves against majoritarian processes,” she said.

Attorneys for the state of North Carolina said the state-sponsored plan is not required to cover hormone therapy or surgery because being transgender is not considered an illness.

Attorney John Knepper claimed only a subset of transgender people suffer from gender dysphoria, a diagnosis of distress over gender identity that doesn’t match a person’s assigned sex.

Knepper said North Carolina’s insurance plan does not discriminate because it does not allow people to use state health insurance to “detransition,” either.

Before offering pharmaceutical or surgical intervention, medical guidelines call for thorough psychological assessments to confirm gender dysphoria before starting any treatment.

In updated treatment guidelines issued last year, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health said that patients should be told about the possibility of later regret during psychological counseling.

West Virginia attorneys said the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has declined to issue a national coverage decision on covering transgender surgery.

Caleb David, attorney for the state defendants, said West Virginia’s is not a case of discrimination, either, but of a state trying to best utilize limited resources. West Virginia has a $128 million deficit in Medicaid for the next year, projected to expand to $256 million in 2025.

“West Virginia is entitled to deference where they’re going to take their limited resources,” he said. “They believe that they need to provide more resources towards heart disease, diabetes, drug addiction, cancer, which are all rampant in the West Virginia population.”

Unlike North Carolina, the state has covered hormone therapy and other pharmaceutical treatments for transgender people since 2017. “That came from a place of caring and compassion,” he said.

There’s no indication of when the court will rule.

In June 2022, a North Carolina trial court demanded the state plan pay for “medically necessary services,” including hormone therapy and some surgeries, for transgender employees and their children.

The judge had ruled in favor of the employees and their dependents, who said in a 2019 lawsuit that they were denied coverage for transgender care under the plan.

The North Carolina state insurance plan provides medical coverage for more than 750,000 teachers, state employees, retirees, lawmakers and their dependents. While it provides counseling for gender dysphoria and other diagnosed mental health conditions, it does not cover treatment “in connection with sex changes or modifications and related care.”

In August 2022, a federal judge ruled that West Virginia’s Medicaid program must provide coverage for transgender residents.

U.S. District Judge Chuck Chambers in Huntington said the Medicaid exclusion discriminated on the basis of sex and transgender status and violated the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, the Affordable Care Act and the Medicaid Act.

Chambers certified the lawsuit as a class action, covering all transgender West Virginians who participate in Medicaid.

An original lawsuit filed in 2020 also named state employee health plans. A settlement with the Health Plan of West Virginia Inc. in 2022 led to the removal of the exclusion on transgender care in that company’s Public Employees Insurance Agency plans.

After the proceedings Thursday, West Virginia Republican Attorney General Patrick Morrisey released a statement saying that, under Medicaid, states have wide discretion to determine what procedures their programs can cover.

“Taxpayers should not be required to pay for these surgeries under Medicaid—our state should have the ability to determine how to spend our resources to care for the vital medical needs of our citizens,” he said.

Borelli, on the other hand, said reversing the lower courts’ decisions would cause “true harm” to the lives and health of transgender people in both states.

“It is disappointing that state officials in North Carolina and West Virginia have chosen to double-down on the discriminatory denial of medically necessary, evidence-based care,” she said.

Xenophobe Gov. Hochul Says Migrants Are Unwelcome in New York

(

Channeling former Republican President Donald Trump last week, Hochul told migrants to “go somewhere else” as she tried to dissuade more asylum-seekers from traveling to the state amid another surge of immigration along the U.S.–Mexico border.

In remarks during a CNN appearance, Hochul said New York has “reached capacity” for accepting new migrants and urged them to apply for asylum before leaving their countries or seek shelter in other states if they arrive.

“If you’re going to leave your country, go somewhere else,” Hochul said. “We have to let the word out that when you come to New York, you’re not going to have more hotel rooms.”

That was unlikely to disuade unsympathetic red states like Texas and Florida, which long ago reached exceeded comfort level, from continuing to bus them northward to the self-declared sanctuary states, which long crowed about their tolerance and refused to comply with the enforcement of federal immigration laws until the Biden administration’s far-left open borders policies became too much even for them.

Hochul also said she supports efforts to update or suspend New York City’s “right to shelter” law, which requires the city to provide housing, food and other necessities for homeless individuals, regardless of their immigration status.

She said it was never intended to be a “universal right or obligation on the city to have to house literally the entire world.”

Hochul’s remarks appeared to be a shift in her stance on immigration for the Democrat who has previously defended New York’s “sanctuary” state status and its storied history of accepting large numbers of asylum seekers.

She has also pushed for work authorization for migrants and lobbied President Joe Biden to extend the temporary protected status to tens of thousands of Venezuelan asylum seekers that allows them to work in the U.S. legally. Critics say policies are encouraging more migrants to enter the country illegally.

New York City has had an influx of more than 116,000 asylum seekers over the past year amid a surge of immigration along the U.S.–Mexico border. The surge coincided with the end of the pandemic-era Title 42 policy that required migrants to stay in Mexico while requesting asylum, which expired in May.

Hochul’s comments echo those previously made by New York Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat, who in June began distributing flyers on the U.S.–Mexico border as part of a new marketing campaign to dissuade new arrivals from settling in the city.

Adams has criticized the Biden administration for not doing enough to secure the southern border, and has said the migrant crisis will “destroy” New York City if the federal government doesn’t provide more funding and resources to the city.

New York Republicans have long called on Hochul to rescind the state’s sanctuary designation and New York City’s right to shelter law, saying the policies are drawing more migrants to the state.

“New York City’s leaders chose to be a sanctuary city, putting out a welcome mat for every migrant who arrives in the country,” a group of state GOP lawmakers wrote to Hochul earlier this month. “They chose virtue signaling over good government policy, and so must bear the consequences.”

Last week, several Republican congressional lawmakers filed a lawsuit seeking to block New York City from using Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field or other federally owned sites in the Gateway National Recreation Area to provide temporary housing for migrants.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., and other GOP lawmakers have also called on Democrats in the U.S. Senate to pass a border security bill approved by the House earlier this year.
