Shock ABC News Poll Shows Trump Opening Up 9 Pt. Lead over Biden, 51%-42%

(Former President Donald Trump would defeat President Joe Biden by nearly 10 points in a head-to-head general election matchup, a newly released poll shows.

The ABC News/Washington Post poll was done in conjunction with Langer Research Associates and found that in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, Biden has 42% support compared to Trump’s 51% support.

“Joe Biden’s job approval rating is 19 points underwater, his ratings for handling the economy and immigration are at career lows, a record number of Americans say they’ve gotten worse off under his presidency, three-quarters say he’s too old for another term and Donald Trump is looking better in retrospect—all severe challenges for Biden in his re-election campaign ahead,” the group said in a news release.

The survey found 62% of Democrats say the party should pick someone other than Biden as their nominee.

“Among the 62 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who oppose Biden for the nomination, 16 percent say they’d vote for Trump over Biden,” Gary Langer of Langer Research Associates said in his analysis.

Trump, who maintains a healthy lead over his Republican primary challengers, has slightly improved in his support while Biden has slightly declined, according to the poll.

Trump faces an array of state and federal charges with expected court dates to interrupt his campaigning in 2024. Biden faces an impeachment inquiry and ongoing questions about his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings and just how much the president was involved.

The developments in all of those cases will likely significantly impact the race.

The survey queried more than 1,000 adults in September with a margin of error of 3.5%.

SELLERS: How Chris Christie Could Save Face and Get Everything He Wants

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) The idea of portly ex-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie trying to cram into a life preserver may strike some as comically grotesque.

Yet, metaphorically, the Justice Department has done precisely that for one of its own.

Christie, who served as U.S. Attorney for New Jersey from 2002 to 2008 before his two terms as governor, has been given the opportunity to resuscitate his own foundering political prospects courtesy of the DOJ’s decision finally to take seriously the longstanding corruption allegations against Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J.

Of course, this slow-walked investigation isn’t the first time Menendez has been prosecuted for his flagrant disregard of any legal or ethical bounds. And Democrats—despite their righteous indignation when it is politically convenient to grandstand sanctimoniously about such things—appear to be as unscrupulous as ever when the stakes get real.

They stopped short of calling on Menendez to resign, just as they have continued to outright deny the obvious evidence of bribery and corruption coming from the White House. Because once the dominoes start falling, they could be next in line.

The two-tiered justice system has proven to be a particularly powerful force in inoculating former President Donald Trump against the whiff of impropriety, starting with his 2016 scandal surrounding the leaked Access Hollywood tape and a certain feline-nomenclatured anatomical part.

How could Hillary Clinton, the woman who forgave her husband for shoving a cigar in the intern’s hoo-hah presume to be the messenger about somebody else’s relationship with women—and why wait until it afforded a potential strategic advantage to leak and repudiate such a thing?

Now, of course, the Left’s modus operandi when it comes to Trump has been crystal clear—all of 91 counts worth, and all just as cynically transparent in expressing their ends-justifies-the-means motives of inflicting political damage, while failing to do so.

As conservative pundit Joey Mannarino told his dog recently, Trump supporters are ready to call the Left’s bluff that they actually intend to convict the former president given the potential consequences—political and otherwise—that they may face for doing so.

Bizarrely, Chris Christie has been one of the few erstwhile conservatives who have gone along with the whole charade as if what Democrats are doing is entirely normal and rational.

The obvious instinct is to assume that Christie is either stupid (doubtful considering some of his commanding past debate performances) or so motivated by his own vanity/greed/wrath that he is being lured into a false position under the delusion that it is somehow benefiting him with a segment of the population that harbors the same delusions.

Certainly, Christie likes the validation of getting Obama hugs and MSNBC segments, and maybe even clings to the hope that Asbury Park native Bruce Springsteen might be out there watching his dancing monkey routine.

Who knows, also, what sort of under-the-table kickbacks the Bridge-gate architect could be getting from unknown billionaire oligarchs to be a foil for Trump?

And it is clear that his pride was hurt by Trump’s decision to snub him for a Cabinet post, which Christie felt he deserved after having been the first major GOP challenger to come out in support of the 2016 frontrunner.

Never mind the fact that as leader of Trump’s White House transition team, Christie was likely responsible for stacking the deck with an array of disloyal plants like Rex Tillerson, H.R. McMaster, James Mattis and John Kelly, who did more to undermine than to support the chief executive.

There is, however, the remote possibility that Christie is either holding fast to what he sees as an exceptional code of ethics or at least cleverly trying to stay above reproach so that he can hammer Democrats for their duplicitous conduct.

And he now has the shining opportunity to do so in a way that would actually serve the interests of Republicans, while also making whatever moral point he hopes to make about Trump.

If Christie were to drop his quixotic bid for the GOP presidential nomination and, instead, enter into the race to challenge Menendez next year, he could use his existing war chest and name recognition for a good cause—and likely stand a strong shot at winning.

He also would be in an excellent position to deflect any line of potential attacks that Menendez backers could throw his way suggesting that Republicans are just as bad. Whether that is a spurious claim based on false equivalence or not, there is no denying that Christie has attacked both sides equally.

And, of course, Menendez’s own alleged crimes are damning enough that he is likely to lose support among some Democrats against a former D.A. running a pro-“law and order” campaign just by virtue of the contrast.

Christie does have the unfortunate distinction of having been New Jersey’s least popular governor ever when he left office.

But you could chalk that up to the ascendant blue wave in 2018 that was punishing all Republicans. Since then, in New Jersey especially, the tides have turned. He is prime for a sort of “Miss me yet” rehabilitation after current Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, blew his political capital on COVID restrictions and other core components of the far-left agenda that have ravaged blue states disproportionately.

Finally, Christie could have a special place in the Senate becoming future President Donald Trump’s biggest intra-party nemesis following the retirement of Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah.

Although it is easy to hate on both RINO defectors, they beat having a Bob Menendez, or a John Fetterman, or a Chuck Schumer presiding over the Senate any day.

In due time, by regaining Republicans’ trust as a staunch and reliable conservative lawmaker, Christie might even once again become a serious presidential contender instead of a walking punchline.

Outrage Grows: Billions Sent to Ukraine, Neglecting Deplorable U.S. Troops’ Living

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A report released on Sept. 18 has exposed the deplorable living conditions endured by U.S. military personnel stationed in undisclosed barracks across the nation.

The findings, first reported by Fox News, have ignited a firestorm on social media, with many expressing outrage at what they perceive as the Biden administration’s failure to prioritize the health of the nation’s servicemen, all while funding billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) released an extensive 118-page report, exposing the harsh realities faced by the nation’s troops who are forced to reside in pest-ridden quarters infested with roaches and bedbugs.

Prominent voices from across the political spectrum have weighed in on the issue, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., calling the findings “outrageous.”

“Biden’s Department of Defense has U.S. military service members living in filth and squalor on our own bases while they demand more money for Ukraine,” Greene said on Twitter. “I’m not voting to fund war while our own troops are treated worse than garbage.”

Author Buzz Patterson echoed Greene’s remarks, questioning the allocation of billions to Ukraine. “Meanwhile, how many billions have we sent to Ukraine?” he remarked.

Newsmax host Chris Salcedo dubbed it “General ‘White Rage,’ Milley’s military,” drawing attention to Gen. Mark Milley’s efforts to force the U.S. military to reach Critical Race Theory.

The GAO’s investigation further revealed that servicemen were often left without drinkable water and had no heating or cooling systems. Notably, the report found that some servicemen are “responsible for cleaning biological waste that may remain in a barracks room after a suicide.”

Images presented in the report painted a grim picture, ranging from broken pipes to the overflowing of sewage waste.

Responding to the damning report, Assistant Secretary of Defense Brendan Owens acknowledged President Joe Biden’s shortcomings.

“In return for the commitment and sacrifices that Service members make when they volunteer to defend our nation, the Department of Defense has a moral obligation to ensure that the places they live and work dignify their service,” Owens claimed in statements to Fox News.

“The DoD has, in too many instances, failed to live up to our role in making sure housing for our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Guardians honors their commitment and enables them to bring the best versions of themselves to their critical missions.”

Menendez’s Backdoor Access to Biden Uncovered in Hunter Emails

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden and embattled son Hunter find themselves under scrutiny as their close ties to indicted Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., surface through a 2010 email obtained from Hunter’s infamous laptop.

This revelation has raised questions about the extent of Biden’s connections with Menendez and has added to the mounting controversies surrounding the president, who is facing allegations of bribery himself.

The emails reveal that Menendez’s chief of staff, Danny O’Brien, reached out to Hunter and his former business partner, Eric Schwerin, with a specific request: access to Biden.

According to copies of the emails reserved by the Marco Polo non-profit, O’Brien asked both Hunter and Schwerin to extend an invitation to then-Vice President Biden to keynote the “United States – Spain Council’s Annual Forum” in July 2010. This request was made after Biden’s office at the White House declined the offer:

Dear Senator Menendez and Mr. O’Brien,

Thank you for inviting Vice President Biden to keynote the United States – Spain Council’s Annual Forum on July 23-25, 2010.

Vice President Biden values each and every invitation he receives.  The constraints of his schedule, however and the volume of requests are such that the majority must be declined.  It is with sincere regret that the Vice President will be unable to keynote the forum.

Thank you for your interest in including the Vice President in your plans, and we appreciate your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Office of the Vice President

Office of Scheduling

Unhappy with Biden’s office, O’Brien emailed Schwerin with the special request.

Eric:

Please see the revised request I just sent in to the Vice President’s office. Any chance you could forward it to Hunter? Ambassador Solomont was in yesterday and will be broaching the matter with the Vice President when they meet in Madrid later this week.

Danny.

In response, Schwerin then emailed Hunter:

Danny O’Brien called.  Sen. Menendez is U.S. Chair of the above group.  Spanish members include CEOs of the major banks – Banco Santander, etc, Iberdrola, Spanish Rail, etc.  Amb. Solomont is a big supporter and JRB went to speak to group in Boca when a Senator.

Having their annual meeting in DC in July.  Spanish Foreign Minister attends.  Danny wants to explore with you possibility of getting VP to host event at NAVOBs for group.  Maybe even an appearance at a reception at a hotel.  I’ll get more info and we can discuss with Danny next week.  I think Solomont mentioned your interest in Spain and that is why Danny is calling us.

Sounds interesting.  Let’s discuss.  Probably don’t want to mention to Transatlantic in case we can’t deliver though I guess.

These revelations come at a time when prominent conservative voices are drawing comparisons between the allegations of bribery involving Biden and Hunter and the indictment of Menendez. Menendez faces charges from the U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, accused of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes, including gold bullion.

The contents of the email, dated April 7, 2010, reveal that Menendez had already established a back channel through Hunter. It is not immediately clear how or when Menendez’s office began communicating with Hunter’s associate.

Several Democratic lawmakers, including Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-N.Y., called for Menendez to resign. The Biden White House, however, has remained mum on the scandal embroiling their close Democratic ally.

“This is an active matter, so I’m not gonna comment,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre remarked on Friday.

NYC Mayor Begins Kicking Illegals Out After Short-lived ‘Right to Shelter’

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) New York City has unleashed restrictions on its contentious “Right to Shelter” law, which has drawn an influx of illegal aliens to the city.

Under the new regulations, illegal aliens seeking taxpayer-funded shelter will now be limited to a 60-day stay, after which they must reapply for the program or face eviction.

“We have now reached a point where we are full and must take action to move people seeking asylum more quickly through our shelter system,” Anne Williams-Isom, a deputy for health and human services told Politico on Sept. 22

The decision comes after the unprecedented wave of illegal aliens drained the city’s budget and flooded most of the shelters.

The “right to shelter” initiative emerged following the landmark lawsuit, Callahan v. Carey. The lawsuit culminated in a consent decree ruling that the state constitution obligated the government to provide shelter for homeless individuals, opening the door for illegal aliens to access this taxpayer-funded service.

Starting Sept. 22, thousands of illegal aliens currently exploiting the system will face eviction, marking a significant shift in the city’s sanctuary approach to immigration.

One source close to City Hall admitted to Politico that the new rule is aimed at persuading illegal aliens from coming to NYC

“The sense is that people didn’t fully understand just how accommodating New York City was to migrants until now, from a lot of these areas, and now it’s a big reason that people are coming here,” the individual said. “But if the understanding is you’re not guaranteed a place to stay, that affects the flow.”

Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-N.Y., chimed in, stating that the “right to shelter” was never intended for long-term purposes.

“Never was it envisioned that this would be an unlimited universal right or obligation on the city to have to house literally [the] entire world,” Hochul claimed on Wednesday. “We want to make sure that no families end up on the streets. We don’t want anything to happen to our children, but we also have to let the world know that there have to be limits to this.”

NYC has seen the arrival of over 100,000 individuals seeking taxpayer-funded shelter, triggering NYC Mayor Eric Adams to warn against the consequences of such number.

“Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to,” Adams said in a now-viral community town hall. “I don’t see an ending to this. I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City.”

‘Tragic’: White Model Faces Disturbing Vitriol After Winning Miss Universe Zimbabwe

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The crowning of Brooke Bruk-Jackson, a 21-year-old white woman, as Miss Universe Zimbabwe on Sept. 16 has ignited disturbing criticism, with some expressing outrage against the model’s race.

The pageant, held in Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, saw Bruk-Jackson triumph over black contestants Amanda Mpofu and Nokutenda Marumbwa, the Atlanta-Black Star reported on Sept. 22.

The talented model took to Instagram to voice her gratitude to the African country. “I have gained this crown for our beautiful country, to love and to serve our people, to represent Zimbabwe Internationally and to show the world the uniqueness of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans,” she said.

Despite Bruk-Jackson’s personal feat, the victory came as a shock to many who hijacked her social media accounts to voice their racist dissent.

According to the Atlanta Black Star, one Twitter user remarked, “All those beautiful melanted women and you telling me the European woman won a contest for black people!!??” A second unhinged user responded, “Extremely tragic and disappointing! I agree with you.”

The racist mob hijacked the comments section of her Instagram account, forcing her to disable them. In response to the backlash, Bruk-Jackson attempted to appease the racist critics.

“The colour of our skin should not define a person or who each person chooses to associate with. Together, we are aligned, a beautiful kind made by god,” she remarked on Instagram on Thursday.

Her post did little to appease the angry critics. “So disappointing to see these colonizers representing an African country,” one person responded, according to the Atlanta Black Star. Another responded, “My ancestors rolling in they graves!!!!”

Tristan Tate, a social media personality and brother of Andrew Tate, took to Twitter on Friday to defend the new Miss Universe Zimbabwe. “If she’s not allowed to be miss Zimbabwe then every girl from every country should look like an ethnic native,” he said.

Some social media users pointed out a perceived double standard, highlighting that when a black woman won Miss Ireland in 2021, there was no similar uproar.

“Interesting how a White woman becoming Miss Zimbabwe is not OK, but a Black woman becoming Miss Ireland is the greatest thing ever,” one user said.

Project Veritas Sues James O’Keefe Again Day After Ceasing All Operations

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) James O’Keefe announced on Twitter to his audience that he was sued by Project Veritas again midday Thursday — one day after the company ceased all operations.

The former Project Veritas founder filmed himself retrieving the lawsuit from his front doorstep, as it was shown in footage that was posted to Twitter on Friday. O’Keefe said that “a colleague happened to be nearby and took a video of the door” after he heard “loud banging,” adding that the colleague did not answer the door.

“A lawsuit. They’re suing me. The company that I founded,” O’Keefe said while he was reading the documents that were left at his doorstep.

O’Keefe then explained to his audience that the reason why Project Veritas made a decision to sue him was because of the company’s financial struggles.

“When I left, there was something to the effect of between six to eight million dollars cash on hand. They’ve apparently spent all of it, raising almost no money at all since they ousted me,” he said.

Project Veritas ceased all operations on Wednesday because there was no money left. This led to six staffers, including all remaining journalists and one development associate, being laid off.

“In the interest of preserving the possible future existence of Project Veritas we need to put operations on pause and, as communicated since the Spring, another Reduction in Force (“RIF”) is necessary,” the company’s HR director Jennifer Kiyak said.

In the video, O’Keefe also added that the documents were “a summons in civil action” from “United States District Court” for a lawsuit titled “Project Veritas vs. James O’Keefe.” Jay M. Wolman, Counsel at Randazza Legal Group in Connecticut, would represent the plaintiff.

“We’re not sure what these attorneys have to say for themselves, participating in an effort to silence journalists and get a federal judge to issue an injunction to shut me up and to shut all of you down. It’s unclear what Randazza and Jay Wolman are thinking,” he said.

The first time when Project Veritas sued O’Keefe was in May in federal court in the southern district of New York, according to the Daily Caller.

Hospitals Refuse to Perform Gender and Hormonal Mutilations Even Where it is Legal

(Headline USA) Hospitals are refusing to perform gender and hormonal mutilations, even where it is legal.

In some states that have not banned gender mutilation, including Missouri and North Dakota, the mutilation procedures have abruptly been halted because medical providers are wary of harsh liability possibilities from those same laws — one of multiple reasons that advocates say care has become harder to access even where it remains legal.

Since last year, conservative lawmakers and governors have prioritized ending gender mutilation to protect children and adults.

At least 22 states have now enacted laws restricting or banning gender and hormonal mutilation for minors.

All the laws ban gender- mutilation surgery for minors.

There’s more variation, though, in how states handle hormonal mutilation with puberty-blockers and hormone ‘treatments’ under the new bans.

Georgia’s law does not ban starting puberty blockers for minors. The others do.

Some states, including North Carolina and Utah, allow young people who are already destroying their natural hormone balance to continue, as does Georgia. Others require the treatments to be phased out over time.

Medical institutions banning the mutilations cite a section of the law that increased the liability for providers. Under it, patients can sue for injury from the treatment until they turn 36, or even longer if the harm continues past then. The law gives the health care provider the burden of proving that the harm was not the result of hormones or puberty-blocking drugs. And the minimum damages awarded in such cases would be $500,000.

In North Dakota, the law allows mutilation to continue for minors who were receiving mutilation before the law took effect in April. At least some providers have stopped the care even though the ban that was eventually adopted did not include some of the details in an earlier proposed version.

Providers there have simply stopped gender-affirming care, said Brittany Stewart, a lawyer at Gender Justice, which is suing over the ban in the state.

“To protect themselves from criminal liability, they’ve just decided to not even risk it.” Stewart said.

Ibram X. Kendi $43M ‘Antiracist’ Center Is Under Investigation

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Boston University started the investigation of Ibram X. Kendi’s Center for Antiracist Research following complaints from former center staff members.

Kendi, born Ibram Henry Rogers, is a racial activist and author of several propagandist anti-white books, among which are “How to Be an Antiracist” and “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You,” NBC 15 News reported.

People have challenged both books in the past all over the country. The second book was being temporarily removed from a North Carolina school district this month following claims it tells history “from a twisted and biased perspective.”

Kendi’s Center for Antiracist Research focuses on “antiracism research in pursuit of social justice and equity,” according to the Boston University website.

Issues related to “culture and grant management practices” were under investigation at Kendi’s center, a Boston University spokesperson said on Thursday.

The center was founded right after George Floyd died in 2020 to profit off of that, which was successful since the center raised tens of millions of dollars to finance several projects, including graduate programs, a “racial disparities database” and a media venture.

Some of these projects were completed. However, others, including the database, were not, since the purpose of the center was not to complete these tasks in the first place.

“I don’t know where the money is,” a Boston University professor and a former center’s employee said.

The investigation began last week after Kendi laid off more than half of center staff after returning from leave, which prompted several former employees to voice complaints about dysfunction within the organization.

“It was one of the most difficult decisions of my career to execute these layoffs,” Kendi said, adding that the decision was made to “ensure that the Center of Antiracist Research will be around 50 years from now.”

After that, Kendi accused the laid-off employees of being “disgruntled,” saying that their complaints had no footing.

“I’m really devastated, both because of having to lay people off, but then also because there’s certainly disgruntled people who are sort of using the moment to express problems. And allegations that are baseless, unfounded,” he said.

McCarthy Backtracks on Removing Ukrainian Aid a Day After Claiming Otherwise

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., reversed his stance on the removal of $300 million in Ukrainian aid from a Pentagon spending bill, less than 24 hours after promising to do so, arguing removing so “becomes more difficult to do.”

McCarthy’s initial promise came after a humiliating setback in passing his own spending bill, facing opposition from six staunch conservatives, including his ally Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.

The House speaker, however, claimed that there is a second funding bill for the State Department that also includes aid for Ukraine. According to Politico, McCarthy told reporters that House Republicans would need to vote on both before removing the aid through an amendment vote.

“That’s not solving it because one of the others has some Ukraine things,” McCarthy remarked, referring to throwing out the Ukrainian aid from the Pentagon appropriations bill. “So it became too difficult to do that so we’re leaving it in.”

It was not immediately clear whether the Republicans who opposed the legislation would support the bill even if the Ukrainian aid remained intact.

Regarding Greene’s stance, McCarthy acknowledged, “I think Marjorie still has a problem.”

The House speaker added that removing the funding outright is not feasible. “I think she’ll vote no on the rule if it’s in there, that’s why I was trying to solve it where everybody could be there,” McCarthy continued. “But this one, it didn’t work out.”

Meanwhile, Greene took to Twitter on Saturday to blast the House GOP leadership in response to the backtracking. “All I asked is for all Ukraine funding to be in a separate bill, so I could vote NO and others could vote YES if they chose to,” Greene said. “I guess loyalty only goes one way.. To Ukraine.”

Just on Friday, however, McCarthy had a different tone. He assured that funding for Ukraine would be removed. “It would be out and voted on by itself,” he falsely told reporters on Capitol Hill.

Six Republicans joined the Democratic caucus to thwart the bill’s passage, with Greene defying McCarthy’s own bill.

“Instead of voting on money to defend ‘democracy’ in Ukraine, we should be voting on funding for Americans. This is the U.S. Congress, not the Ukrainian parliament,” Greene said on Twitter on Friday.
