Democracy Restored! Joe Biden Deemed Florida Primary Winner With No Vote

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) When Joe Biden promised to “restore democracy” on the 2020 campaign trail, Democratic voters presumably thought he would push for fair and open elections.

But Biden apparently had something different in mind.

Florida’s Democratic Party announced that the sitting President will be the only candidate in the state’s upcoming primaries, scheduled for March 19. And if there’s only one candidate, that means that the “uncontested” race won’t even be on the state’s ballot.

In its statement, the Florida Democratic Party said the party’s actions were part of a “standard process,” and that “it is not uncommon for an incumbent President to be declared the automatic winner of a presidential primary,” according to the Washington Post. The last time it happened was in 2012, when President Barack Obama ran for reelection.

Florida’s move has Biden’s challengers— Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., Marianne Williamson and Cenk Uygur—up in arms.

“Americans would expect the absence of democracy in Tehran, not Tallahassee,” Phillips reportedly said. “Our mission as Democrats is to defeat authoritarians, not become them.”

Foreign-born Uygur, who is likely ineligible to serve as President but nevertheless is a candidate, made similar statements. Uygur is the founder of the far-left news media outlet, The Young Turks.

“This is about all three of us being excluded in a way that was absurd, ridiculous, counterproductive, done, obviously in secret, obviously, to help the incumbent Joe Biden,” Uygur said Friday, according to The Hill.

“The number one problem with what the Florida Democratic Party is doing is not how it affects me Marianne [Williamson] and Dean [Phillips]. It’s how it affects the Florida Democratic voters. They are robbing them of their voice. They’re saying the democracy is not important, that you should not participate in the process.”

An upstart group called No Labels has suggested that it might launch a third-party campaign featuring Phillips, who is not running again for Congress.

The seemingly rigged Democratic primaries led to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announcing in October that he’ll be running as an independent.

A Kennedy campaign insider reportedly told Mediaite that “Bobby feels that the DNC is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy, so an independent run is the only way to go.”

Salon Writer Blames Trump for Dating Woes of AWFULs

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Salon writer Amanda Marcotte recently published an op-ed blaming former President Donald Trump for the dating woes of single AWFULs—also known as Affluent White Female Urban Liberals.

Reacting to an article in the Washington Post, Marcotte claimed that the reason fewer young American women are getting married is because “they can’t find suitable partners,” according to PJ Media.

The article in the Post claimed far-left politics has morphed into a key personality trait for young women—a personality trait that men typically do not like.

Regardless, Marcotte insisted that evil, Trump-supporting men are the primary issue in the dating world today.

“Supporting Trump is much like refusing to bathe, blowing your nose in your hands or farting loudly on purpose,” she wrote. “It’s a repugnant habit that makes you repulsive to normal people.”

The political gap between the sexes continues to grow, with more single women ages 18-30 identifying as liberal, and single men in the same age group growing more conservative.

Studies, cited in the Post, show that Democrats are far less willing to date across party lines, yet Marcotte insists that this is also correct, as dating a Trump supporter is akin to “bringing someone into your home who ascribes to an ideology in which you are not fully human.”

Marcotte painted the article as an attack on liberal women all around, claiming that the Post argued that liberal women settle for Republican men and turn them towards their left-leaning ways.

“It’s cruel on its face to expect women to give up their own happiness in hopes they can turn a redhat into a better man through patience and love,” she said.

“But it’s also a false hope,” she added. “It’s hard enough to get anyone to change their minds about politics. Trying to get men who already think women are inferior to listen to their liberal wives is a joke.”

To conclude, Marcotte accused the Washington Post of placing the blame on the shoulders of “Democratic women who have been doing everything right all along,” and provided no alternative solutions to the problem of dropping marriage rates.

Nearly 4,000 Auto-Dealers Beg Biden to Lay Off EV Mandate

About 4,000 auto dealers from all 50 states have signed a letter to President Joe Biden saying electric vehicles are “stacking up on our lots” as the demand for electric cars has “stalled.”

“BEVs [battery electric vehicles] are stacking up on our lots,” the auto dealers stated in the letter. “Last year, there was a lot of hope and hype about EVs. Early adopters formed an initial line and were ready to buy these vehicles as soon as we had them to sell. But that enthusiasm has stalled. Today, the supply of unsold BEVs is surging, as they are not selling nearly as fast as they are arriving at our dealerships—even with deep price cuts, manufacturer incentives, and generous government incentives.”

The letter stated: “Mr. President, it is time to tap the brakes on the unrealistic government electric vehicle mandate. Allow time for the battery technology to advance. Allow time to make BEVs more affordable. Allow time to develop domestic sources for the minerals to make batteries. Allow time for the charging infrastructure to be built and prove reliable. And most of all, allow time for the American consumer to get comfortable with the technology and make the choice to buy an electric vehicle.”

There are 18,230 light vehicle dealerships in the United States.

The Sierra Club is the largest leading grassroots environmental organization focused on promoting green energy and the healing power of nature. The group conducted surveys throughout several dealerships across all 50 states.

The Sierra Club said the U.S. auto industry is “largely” failing to meet consumer demands when it involves electric vehicles.

In May, the Sierra Club did an investigation of car dealerships and their sales of EVs.

While electric vehicles did exceed 5% of new car sales in 2022, and eventually reaching 10% by the end of the year according to the surveys, still 66% of dealerships did not have electric vehicles available for purchase, leaving only 34% of dealerships with available electric vehicles for sale.

“We are in a climate crisis and at a major inflection point for the American electric vehicle industry, and yet automakers are still pumping out millions of gas-powered vehicles while they lag on their EV commitments,” said Sierra Club Clean Transportation for All Director Katherine Garcia in a media release.

Others are not convinced there is an appetite for more EVs.

“Despite taxpayer-funded subsidies that artificially reduce costs, consumer demand for EVs persistently lags supply, and the vehicles sit on lots longer than gas- and diesel-powered cars,” American Energy Alliance President Thomas Pyle, a founding member of the Save Our Cars Coalition said in a statement.

“By speaking out, hopefully, these auto dealers will be able to help persuade the administration that American families should have the freedom to buy the vehicle that best suits their budget and lifestyle while encouraging fair competition in the automotive industry,”  Pyle said.

Socialist Venezuela Votes to Invade Oil-Rich Neighbor

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Electors in a Venezuela ballot referendum have chosen to begin seizing lands from Guyana, a neighboring country rich in oil reserves, AFP reported.

The socialist nation determined, with over 10.5 million votes cast, to invade Essequibo, a region of Guyana to which Venezuela has historically laid claim.

Essequibo constitutes approximately two-thirds of Guyana’s land, and one-fifth of the nation’s population. It also contains extensive oil drilling opportunities.

The decision constitutes “an overwhelming victory for the ‘Yes’ throughout Venezuela,” according to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who seeks reelection next year.

“We have taken the first steps of a new historic stage in the struggle for what belongs to us, to recover what the liberators left us,” he said.

Once considered one of the world’s leading oil producers and wealthiest nations, Venezuela has suffered under an oppressive economy since Maduro’s predecessor, Hugo Chavez, took power and nationalized much of the nation’s industry, including its energy production. It has since become one of the leading exporters of illegal immigrants to America.

There also are reasons to believe its most recent elections have been illegitimate.

Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino appeared on state television Sunday night to praise the voters for their decision to invade their neighbor.

“Today is a day of ratification, of national sovereignty, and the people have done it with flying colors,” he said.

The referendum is tied in particular to the use of offshore drilling sites, in waters that are currently claimed by Guyana.

One of the ballot questions asks whether or not one would “oppose by all means in accordance with the law” Guyana’s “unilateral” use of the of those waters, raising concerns that war could be on the horizon.

Naturally, the referendum raised fears in Guyana, territory long contested as part of Venezuela originally.

Guyana remains one of the most oil-rich places in the world, with several new offshore oil fracking developments underway.

Venezuela itself, however, has the world’s largest proven oil reserve, though it has been hit hard by United States sanctions in recent years.

In response to the referendum, Guyana’s President Irfaan Ali said that he and other officials would work to keep the nation’s borders secure from invasion.

“I want to assure Guyanese that there is nothing to fear,” Ali told the nation in a Sunday night address.

Although the aggressive territorial expansion would appear to mirror that of Russia in Ukraine, there was no immediate word on whether the Biden administration would send military support to Guyana.

Book Claims AOC Has Few Friends in Congress Outside Squad

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) According to a recently released book, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , D-N.Y., has alienated most of her party in Congress due to her theatrical grandstanding, the Daily Mail reported.

The book, penned by journalist Ryan Grim, the Washington bureau chief for nonprofit news site The Intercept, suggests that AOC’s extreme arrogance also caused her colleagues to distance themselves from her, making AOC into a “pariah.”

She “wanted to remake the system and to be thanked for doing it,” Grim wrote.

Grim also noted that one of AOC’s problems has been the rift between her public persona and her normal, “conflict averse” demeanor, which leads to her sense of “utter vulnerability and failure.”

Such a sense of failure, however, only seems to make her even more radical.

“This constant sense she’s failed at something” gets “in her head” according to Grim.

“She really takes that s**t to heart.”

Aside from her grating personality, her colleagues, according to the book, are also skeptical of AOC’s policies, believing that most of them are merely publicity stunts.

In particular, most others in Congress laughed at the Green New Deal, which Grim called “a total s***show disaster.”

She has also broken from the party line on numerous occasions. including during her contentious early days in Congress, when she voted against the Democrats on a budget vote.

Grim suggested that, despite her relative lack of political power, AOC was attempting “to reshape the landscape” by “sacrificing her relationships with colleagues.”

Namely, AOC “alienated” then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, who engaged in a tense public standoff with the so-called “Squad.”

Pelosi mocked AOC and her friends for lacking real power, noting that celebrity does not always translate to political authority.

“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” Pelosi said of the Squad in 2021. “But they don’t have any following. They’re four people, and that’s how many votes they got.”

FBI Arrests Peaceful Jan. 6 Protestor in Front of Pregnant Wife, Prompting Reaction from Elon Musk

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) Actor and conservative activist Siaka Massaquoi and his pregnant wife were traveling home from the premiere of Daily Wire’s Lady Ballers when FBI swooped in and arrested him for marching peacefully at Capitol Hill more than two years earlier on Jan. 6, 2021, according to Massaquoi.

Massaquoi, an official in the Los Angeles GOP who also had a role in the Daily Wire’s movie, said he was held overnight in jail and was informed that he was being charged with four misdemeanors in relation to Jan. 6.

His arrest prompted a public outcry online, including from Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

The Justice Department has yet to make announcement about Massaquoi, and charges are not yet filed in the public court docket.

Massaquoi had his home raided by the FBI in June 2021. No charges were filed at the time, and he filed a lawsuit over the matter, claiming that the bureau was acting maliciously against him.

“Massaquoi has been targeted as a conservative African-American to try to bury the fact that Americans of all races and religions support the return of America’s governance to the people under the populist movement of Make America Great Again promoted by Donald Trump,” the lawsuit said.

Massaquoi said that special agents told him they were executing a search warrant on his home because he was in a Telegram group with Russ Taylor, who was charged with charged with conspiracy to disrupt an official proceeding in June 2021 for his participation in the Jan. 6 event.

“Thus, [the FBI] illegally and unconstitutionally invaded Plaintiffs home only because he belonged to a group on a communication platform,” he argued.

Massaquoi was not charged with any crimes, but agents took multiple computer devices during the search of his home, he said.

Even though the FBI has the ability to extract data from the devices and return them, Massaquoi said he still hasn’t had his property returned. Same goes for two of his Make America Great Again hats, he said.

“The fact that the [FBI] seized two red MAGA caps from plaintiff Massaquoi’s house further demonstrates that the actions are political and malicious,” the lawsuit said. “Massaquoi owning a MAGA hat is not useful evidence because of the sheer number of MAGA hats in the country.”

Massaquoi’s lawsuit was ultimately unsuccessful, with an appeals court upholding its dismissal in August.

He’s a party to another Jan. 6-related class action lawsuit against the FBI, which was filed in late September. Some on Twitter suggested that his arrest was retaliation for suing the bureau.

White House Panics, Circulates Defensive Points over Impeachment Threats

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The scandal-ridden White House is scrambling to push back against threats of an impeachment vote over accusations of stonewalling and refusing to collaborate with House Republicans, Punchbowl News reported on Friday.

Amid these developments, the White House circulated a new memo featuring talking points, accusing Republicans of “trying to invent claims of ‘obstruction’ and ‘stonewalling’ to rationalize their illegitimate so-called ‘impeachment inquiry.’”

Written by White House Oversight spokesperson Ian Sams, the memo comes as House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., hint at an impending impeachment vote.

House Republicans said that the vote is necessary over arguments raised by both the White House and attorneys for the embattled first son, Hunter Biden, that the impeachment lacks legitimacy because the House has not voted to authorize it.

However, as outlined in the talking points, Sams argued that the White House is not rebuffing collaboration with investigators.

“Some House Republicans are even leaning on these false claims as a predicate to vote to formally authorize such an inquiry,” the memo continued. “The problem: Claims of ‘obstruction’ and ‘stonewalling’ are easily refuted by the facts.”

Specifically highlighting a handful of bank records reviewed by House Republicans, including alleged loan repayments, Sams presented this as evidence of Biden’s cooperation with the inquiry.

Notably, among these records are instances purportedly showing Biden received funds from at least one implicated sibling involved in overseas business dealings.

“Despite receiving this significant volume of material, House Republicans have just failed to turn up any evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden – but plenty of evidence debunking their claims,” Sams declared in the memo.

In an interview with Fox News, Johnson emphasized the necessity of the impeachment vote due to alleged lack of cooperation from the White House.

“Our three committees of jurisdiction… have been doing an extraordinary job following the evidence where it leads,” Johnson said. “But now we’re being stonewalled by the White House, because they’re preventing at least two to three DOJ witnesses from coming forward, a former White House counsel, the national archives… the White House has withheld thousands of pages of evidence.

Comer echoed Johnson’s sentiments in a Sunday interview.

“Hunter Biden’s legal team has already sent a letter implying that this wasn’t a legitimate investigation because the impeachment inquiry hadn’t been voted on,” Comer explained. “That was one of the things they were going to try to use in court to keep Hunter Biden from coming to be deposed.”

‘Rat’s *ss’: Liz Cheney Ridiculed after Latest Trump Claim, Book Tour

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Disgraced former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., faced a barrage of criticism and ridicule from Republicans on social media following her latest interview where she labeled former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy.

From being derided as a “rat’s ass” to being labeled a member of the “Uniparty,” conservative critics on Twitter showed no mercy toward the embattled lawmaker, who was ousted in a primary challenge in 2022.

Political commentator Glenn Greenwald remarked, “Liz Cheney lost her seat by 36 points. She was only elected in the first place because of her dad. Yet corporate media can’t get enough. They treat like a wise, vital statesman for one reason: she hates Trump. That’s all it takes.”

Conservative influencer Juanita Broaddrick vehemently criticized Cheney in a fiery Twitter post, stating, “Nobody gives a rat’s ass what this disgustingly corrupt and rotten to the core loser has to say.”

This wave of criticism followed Cheney’s comments on CBS News’s Sunday Morning, where she portrayed Trump as an “existential crisis” looming over the 2024 presidential election.

“We’re facing a situation with respect to the 2024 election, where it’s an existential crisis,” she said while promoting her book. “We have to ensure that we don’t have a situation where an election that might be thrown into the House of Representatives is overseen by a Republican majority.”

Cheney, an anti-Trump figure, is currently on a tour promoting her book Oath and Honor, where she takes aim at Republicans for their support of Trump.

However, the backlash against Cheney was resounding, with commentator Gunther Eagleman saying, “Liz Cheney is irrelevant.”

Photographer Cruadin added, “Liz Cheney was an undistinguished, nepotistic, legacy hire. She was given a lifetime sinecure in a state in which her family vacationed. She was ejected from that safe, cushy gig by a historic margin for being grotesquely unappealing.”

Even Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-.S.C., weighed in by suggesting that President Joe Biden poses a greater threat to democracy than Trump.

Graham cautioned that if Biden is re-elected president, “we won’t recognize America and the world will be truly on fire.”

“I think a continuation of the Biden presidency would be a disaster for peace and prosperity at home and abroad,” Graham asserted during an interview with CNN. “Our border is broken; the only person really going to fix our broken border is Donald Trump.”

Comer Confident on Impeachment Vote, Slams Buck as ‘Next’ MSNBC Anchor

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., provided insight into the impending impeachment vote targeting President Joe Biden and the level of support among House Republicans for such a motion, particularly after they expelled a member of their caucus.

During an interview with Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo, Comer suggested that House Republicans might face the loss of two votes in their push for a formal impeachment inquiry into Biden. He referenced alleged connections to bribery, political corruption, and influence-peddling schemes.

“It’s tough,” Comer acknowledged. “I think we can lose one or two members—Ken Buck. He votes ‘no’ on everything. He’s certainly doing everything he can to try out to be the next anchor for MSNBC.”

Comer’s remarks coincide with House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.,’s statement that the House plans to conduct a vote on the impeachment inquiry. This decision follows contentions from the White House, which has blocked access to documents, arguing that the investigation lacks legitimacy due to the absence of an official House vote.

The chairman of the House Oversight Committee highlighted that Hunter Biden, a central figure in the impeachment investigation, has echoed the White House’s objections against the inquiry.

In a letter directed to the three committees leading the inquiry, White House special counsel Dick Sauber appeared to entertain the notion that impeachment inquiries necessitate validation through a House vote.

Similar arguments arose during the Trump administration when former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi initiated an impeachment inquiry into former President Donald Trump. These arguments were largely dismissed by Democrats, who only held a vote for the 2019 impeachment weeks after its inception.

Comer drew attention to the growing impatience among Republican voters regarding the lack of accountability over the allegations raised against the Biden family by House Republicans.

“It’s been painful for many people in America that have kept up with this because they’ve seen the evidence for months and months that would warrant the impeachment inquiry formal vote,” Comer added. “People see there’s just too much evidence here, just to say, ‘Okay, well, that’s that,’ and move on to the next investigation.”

‘Be Balanced’: Jayapal’s Disturbing Dismissal of Hamas’s Rapes of Israelis

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Leftist Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., faced criticism for her inexplicable response regarding the reports of mass sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas terrorists against Israeli women on Oct. 7.

Jayapal’s remarks occurred during a Sunday interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, where the anchor pressed the lawmaker about the left’s apparent silence in condemning violence against women.

“I think we have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians,” Jayapal responded when specifically asked about the inhumane atrocities by Hamas.

Earlier in the interview, Bash highlighted the surprising silence, especially among leftist individuals.

“I’ve seen a lot of progressive women. Generally speaking, they’re quick to defend women’s rights and to speak out against using rape as a weapon of war, but downright silent on what we saw on October 7th and what might be happening inside Gaza right now to these hostages,” Bash said. “Why is that?”

Jayapal contested Bash’s assertion. “I don’t know that that’s true,” she replied. “I think we always talk about the impact of war on women in particular.”

The lawmaker insisted she had “absolutely” condemned the violence. “Specifically against women?” Bash pressed, to which Jayapal affirmed, “Of course!”

However, Bash’s colleague, Bianna Golodryga, pointed out the absence of any mention of sexual violence on Jayapal’s social media accounts.

“Jayapal repeatedly said she spoke out specifically against the sexual violence but has apparently not done so, at least on X,” Golodryga stated on Twitter.

During the interview, Jayapal attempted to steer the conversation toward alleged indiscriminate attacks by Israel on the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip, resulting in reported civilian casualties.

“I think we cannot say that one war crime deserves another,’ Jayapal claimed. “That is not what international humanitarian law says.”

But Bash interjected, emphasizing, “With respect, I was just asking about the women, and you turned it back to Israel. I’m asking you about Hamas…”

The intense exchange comes as the United Nations face widespread criticism for its unexplained silence concerning Hamas’s widespread actions against women and children.

A leading expert, commissioned by the Israeli government, described Hamas’s actions as a “weaponized” sexual assault targeting Israeli women in an attempt to destroy the spirit of the Jewish nation.

Survivors of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack have detailed witnessing the rape of innocent women and the Israeli government described reportedly finding the remains of semen on a killed teenage girl.
