(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) While the country teeters from one crisis to another, and with chaos erupting on multiple fronts, vacationeer-in-chief Joe Biden and First Lady Jill jetted off Tuesday for the Caribbean Island of St. Croix for a whole week to celebrate New Year.
Biden fled to the tropical paradise as millions of Americans are still reeling from deadly winter storms, and as a guaranteed wave of chaos on the southern border was temporarily abated with a stay of Title 42, but a steady stream of illegal immigrants, cartel smugglers and drug runners continues.

The backlash to Biden’s posh getaway vacation leaving the country in dire straits was fierce and came from all fronts.
“Not only is it a vacation, but it’s somewhere warm and beautiful while others are freezing, literally, to death,” said commentator Michele Tafoya.

Others slammed Biden for abandoning the crisis at the border, which he has justified dodging because he claimed there were more important things that required his attention.
Reporter: "…About the southern border?"
Biden: "Because there are more important things going on."

The White House comms team tried to clean up Biden’s latest mess by claiming that spending time on a tropical beach was a working trip and that “the President will continue to closely monitor updates and will remain in close touch with the staff over the New Year.”
Nobody was buying the working-stiff on tropical paradise vacation narrative.
“Biden is going on yet another vacation to St. Croix today. While the borders are in crisis, El Paso is overwhelmed with illegals flooding the streets & the city’s resources are being depleted,” tweeted one commentator. “Inflation is in full force & he’s going to a beachfront property until past New Year’s.”
Joe Biden will travel 1,636 miles to vacation in the Virgin Islands, but won’t travel 1,719 miles to see his border crisis.

“Maybe jetting off for a vacation in sunny St. Croix isn’t the best look for the president while Americans who froze to death in New York on Christmas are still being dug out from under six feet of snow?” cracked Townhall’s managing editor Spencer Brown.
Anyone see Hunter Biden in St. Croix? https://t.co/9mtttJl7dz
