Musk Meets w/ McCarthy, Jeffries

'It's only fair. Cant' have fair elections if platforms are biased against conservatives... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Elon Musk, billionaire and Twitter CEO, went to our nation’s capitol for a meeting with newly-appointed House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., to have a discussion on the bipartisanship of Twitter as a social media platform.

According to Breitbart, Musk also had an unplanned meeting with House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.

Reports also indicated that Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, went in McCarthy’s office and remained inside for at least an hour while Musk was still present.

Jordan, who acts as chair for both the Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, plans to open an investigation into the infamous “Twitter Files,” which hold several revelations concerning the government’s involvement with censorship on the social media platform throughout and after the COVID pandemic.

Musk also released details about the FBI paying Twitter millions for their collaboration.

After the meeting, McCarthy joked that Musk came to the capitol to wish him a happy birthday.

“He came to wish me happy birthday,” McCarthy, who turned 58 on Thursday, said. “We’ve been friends for years.”

In fact, Musk is a “longtime McCarthy donor,” and spoke at a Republican retreat that the speaker hosted in Wyoming in the summer of 2022.

Twitter users were appreciative of the meeting, with many applauding Musk’s efforts to keep both political sides of the aisle on equal footing.

“TRUTH leans towards fairness,” said user ThinkVirtues. “Thank you for the excellent work you’re doing. Your dedication and courageous leadership is refreshing and needed in these times.”

“The other platforms should all do the same,” War Room reporter Ian Miles Cheong argued in a post. “It’s only fair. Cant’ have fair elections if platforms are biased against conservatives.”

Musk purchased Twitter in a massive bid last fall and continues to make drastic changes. Since the regime change, several batches of the “Twitter Files” were released, confirming that the government worked with the platform to censor dissenting opinions—particularly regarding COVID measures and the vaccine—and sway elections.

Republican control of the House has allowed the launch of several investigations. Jordan is leading several of the inquiries, including investigating the Department of Justice, looking into the SCOTUS leak of the initial Dobbs opinion and probing the actions of Hunter Biden’s business dealings and his father’s hand in them.
