(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In a blow to the conservative movement on social media, and genuine political hilarity that relentlessly mocked the leftist agenda and swamp establishment, commentator and MAGA-booster Diamond, of the “Diamond and Silk” duo, died Monday.
Former President Donald Trump announced the news with a post on Truth Social.
“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans,” Trump wrote. “Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing.
“There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”
Diamond was half of a sister duo, along with Silk, who took social media by storm during then-candidate Trump’s 2016 presidential run. They recently gave Trump their enthusiastic endorsement for his 2024 presidential run.

The sisters from Fayetteville, N.C., were former Democrats turned conservative activists who gained popularity for their live-streams talking about and goofing on politics.

News of Diamond’s death was met with an outpouring of well wishes and high praise.
“Prayers up for Diamond, her sister Silk, and their whole family in this hour,” wrote Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec. “May the Almighty Lord hold them close.”
They were so smart and courageous together, may god rest her soul. 💔

“Deeply sad to learn of the loss of Diamond from @DiamondandSilk. She was full of joy,” tweeted Off the Press deputy editor Rob Smith. “I met her once at the Fox studio. A big star, but very gracious and welcoming towards me when I was starting out. “A woman of God, and she is with Him now. RIP, Diamond.”
RIP Diamond 🙏
