Kimberly Guilfoyle Hits Back after Smear by Ex-Hubby Gavin Newsom

'He used to be so proud to fight for small business, for entrepreneurs, for those hard-working men and women. And he’s fallen prey to the Left... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Last week California Gov. Gavin Newsom offered a theory as to why his ex-wife, Kimberly Guilfoyle, is now engaged to Donald Trump, Jr.

According to the COVID-lockdown specialist, “she was a different person” at the time of their marriage. Now, he claims, she was infected by Fox News, where she worked from 2006 to 2018.

“She’s whip smart, and she fell prey, I think, to the culture at Fox in a deep way,” he said. “She would disagree with that assessment. She’d perhaps suggest she found the light.”

But Guilfoyle, not pleased with her ex-husband’s public airing of his problems with her, noted that Gavin has taken a hard Left, the Daily Mail reported.

“I didn’t change, [Newsom] did,” Guilfoyle said in an interview earlier this week.

“He used to be so proud to fight for small business, for entrepreneurs, for those hard-working men and women. And he’s fallen prey to the Left, the radical Left, that is pushing him so far to the Left that it’s unrecognizable.”

She also noted that since her teenage years she has been a “proud Republican and conservative.”

Guilfoyle and Newsom were married for five years before getting divorced in 2006.

During that time they rubbed shoulders with liberal elites.

“We were close to Kamala [Harris],” Newsom lamented. “She knew her well, and she was spending a lot of time in Democratic circles.”

Newsom is now married to a woman more befitting a leftist of his stature: Jennifer Newsom, who helped to found an organization that created a film for middle school students that shows them sexually explicit images from Pornhub to groom children and teach them about the so-called “gender” roles and stereotypes in society.

She also went to serial rapist Harvey Weinstein, begging for help after Gov. Newsom cheated on her.
