Kamala Harris Credits Nonexistent Agency with Approving Mifepristone

'Kamala Harris refers to the ‘Federal Drug Administration,’ which does not exist...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In an interview with Noticias Telemundo’s Vanessa Hauc, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed that a U.S. agency named “Federal Drug Administration” greenlighted mifepristone, an abortion pill, 20 years ago. However, no such agency exists.

“Let’s set the scene. Many months ago, the highest court in our land, the United States Supreme Court, took a constitutional right that had been recognized from the people of America – from the women of America – which is the right to make [a] decision about your own body and your own reproductive health,” Harris said. “The government should not be telling that woman what to do with her body. This evokes, in my mind, very fundamental rights, including the right to freedom for each individual about what is in their best interest.”

Harris appears to refer to the Food and Drugs Administration, which approved the abortion pill in 2000, Fox News reported Sunday.

The discrepancy was first unveiled by a Republican National Committee Twitter account. “Kamala Harris refers to the ‘Federal Drug Administration,’ which does not exist,” RNC Research blasted on Twitter.

The vice president’s mishap echos a similar barrage of lies and gaffes touted by her boss, President Joe Biden, including bogus claims that the Biden administration “funded 700,000 major construction projects” across America. That claim, however, is false as the democratic administration only funded 70,000 contractions in the U.S.

In an infamous 2020 video, Joe Biden called himself “Joe Biden’s husband.” The endless list of Biden gaffers raised concerns among Democratic leaders about whether the president is fit to run for re-election in 2024.

While Biden claimed he is planning on running, he has yet to announce an official re-election Bid. He faces primary challenges from embattled environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy, Netflix TV star and convicted felon Joe ‘Tiger King’ Exotic, social justice activist and former 2020 presidential candidate Marianne Williamson.
