Kamala Cackles and Giggles Through White House Silence on Mar-a-Lago Raid

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris has made a statement about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, breaking the silence of the Biden administration.

She appeared to start with a giggle and tried stifling the cackles that she is so well known for, Western Journal reported.

“Well, as a former prosecutor I will tell you I don’t speak about anybody else’s case,” she told reporters with a chuckle. “But I have full confidence that the Department of Justice will do what the facts and the law requires.”

“I will say as a former prosecutor but as a citizen of our nation, any attacks on law enforcement are completely unacceptable and any so-called leader who engages in rhetoric that in any way suggests that law enforcement should be exposed to that kind of danger is irresponsible and can result in dangerous activities,” Harris concluded.

President Joe Biden has yet to comment on the raid. The official statement is that the White House was not aware of the FBI‘s plans beforehand.

Harris’s comments in support of the FBI’s move against former President Donald Trump contradict comments she has made regarding the police, as well as her actions.

“It’s nice that ⁦@KamalaHarris is finally supporting law enforcement but where was she during our “summer of love” and speaking out against the defund movement?” tweeted New York Post columnist Charles Gasparino.

In between trying to suppress cackles, Harris managed to make several baseless claims that didn’t go unnoticed.

Harris has a long history of trashing law enforcement, telling the New York Times in June, 2020, that “Many cities in our country spend one-third of their entire budget on policing. With all the responsibilities those cities have, one-third on policing?”

“If anyone thinks that the way we’re going to cure these problems is by putting more police on the street, they’re wrong.”

Throughout 2020, Harris made several statements calling for the defunding of police departments across the nation.
