(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Nancy Pelosi’s Hollywood-produced J6 Tribunal TV has already proved an abysmal ratings dud with a public more concerned about a tanking economy and violent abortion protests, and the partisan mini-series managed to sink even lower Tuesday with its real-time implosion of fables, baseless innuendo and farce.
The J6 Inquisition had primed the pump with the promise to unveil a secret star witness who would prove with absolute certainty that former President Donald Trump transformed into Ultra MAGA Man on Jan.6 and led a violent insurrection.
Unfortunately for Tribunal chair Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and boss bogeyman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the witness was a complete disaster who was immediately caught in a web of lies of deception.
The revelations were likely just as disappointing to feckless Never-Trumpers who were heralding her courage to step forward and slay Bad Man Orange.
I don’t know what Cassidy Hutchinson will say today. But by agreeing to step forward and testify under oath, this young woman is showing far more public spirit, integrity, and courage than many of her well-established elders who have chosen a far easier and less honorable path.

It looked good for Team Witch Hunt when Inquisitor Liz Cheney, RINO-Wyo., led Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, through gripping testimony.
Cassidy explained how someone had told her about Trump becoming enraged on Jan. 6 when his Secret Service detail wouldn’t take him to the Capitol.
Trump, Cassidy was told second-hand, “had a very strong, angry response” to being refused, and while riding in the presidential limo he maniacally lunged for the steering wheel, screaming, “I am the effing president. Take me to the Capitol now.”
The agent, Cassidy related to the J6 Tribunal, directed the president to release the steering wheel and removed his hand when he didn’t. At which point, Ultra MAGA Man lunged at and thrashed the agent.
It was, by all accounts, a savory ratings-saving, public-convincing moment for the J6 Tribunal TV mini-series. But it quickly crumbled into more of the fables and fabrications for which Pelosi’s team of venal headhunters have become infamous.
Statements from the Secret Service were the first indications something was amiss, other than the committee’s reliance on second-hand gossip.
🚨 A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.

It quickly got worse for the J6 Inquisitors, when CNN reported that the person Cassidy supposedly got her account from, denied it ever happened.
Tony Ornato is denying that he told Cassidy Hutchinson Trump grabbed the steering wheel in presidential vehicle on 1/6 or lunged at a fellow agent, a USSS official tells @joshscampbell. CNN confirms that Ornato & Enger are prepared to testify that neither incident occurred.

Trump offered his own scathing rebuttal to Cassidy’s tale, with a post on Truth Social.
“Her Fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House Limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol Building is “sick” and fraudulent, very much like the Unselect Committee itself – Wouldn’t even have been possible to do such a ridiculous thing. Her story of me throwing food is also false…and why would SHE have to clean it up, I hardly knew who she was?
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene pegged the whole show as a total disinformation campaign, for which Pelosi and her conspirators need to be held accountable.
Cassidy Hutchinson lied and the @January6thCmte held a special hearing today to broadcast her lies.
In ‘23, every single one of them need to be held accountable for what they are putting Pres Trump, his admin, & Republicans through on the people’s dime.
Enough of this. https://t.co/8h5LRSZLLm
