Iran Demands Billions from US Over Nuclear Scientist Conspiracy Theory

'One of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into... '

(Chris Parker, Headline USA) As Iranian nuclear scientists continue to die under strange circumstances, the Tehran regime is casting blame on the US – and demanding a payment of $4.3 billion to their families.

Scientists and other officials associated with Iran’s nuclear program have been poisoned, killed during drive-by shootings, and even shot with remote-controlled guns. Tehran claims the US and Israeli governments are responsible, reported the Daily Wire

One engineer was also killed and another wounded after an explosion in a Parchin nuclear facility last month. That followed another strange explosion in the same facility in June 2020.

According to state-run media outlets, Hasani Ahangar, president of Imam Hussein University, called the explosion “industrial sabotage.” The attack occured in Iran’s Parchin site. Tehran has claimed that while the site is used to test nuclear detonators, it is not used for nuclear weapons research.

Iran doesn’t hold control over any US assets, so they have no leverage to force compliance to their demands. It’s unlikely that the Biden administration will comply.

However, his administration has faced sharp criticism for its proposed Iran nuclear deal. The proposal reinstates the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. Trump ended the program after calling it “one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into.”

Under the Obama administration, the JCPOA involved the US sending billions of dollars to Tehran in exchange for Iran’s promise to halt its nuclear program. Biden’s reinstatement would also give Russia more control over the deal.

That revised deal, combined with the billions demanded by Tehran over the death of its scientists, would give a well-known state terrorist sponsor significant funding to expand its operations.

Iran has also claimed that Israel may have a role in the deaths of its scientists. A shadow war has continued between the two nations as Israel works hard to hinder Iran’s ability to obtain nuclear weapons.
