Idaho GOP Blasts Groomer Fest w/ Kids Drag Show, Backed by Dems and Woke Corporations

'Idaho’s Democrat party believes it is not only okay but laudable to encourage children to engage in public displays of sexuality... '

(John McCannHeadline USA) Local government officials in the city of Boise, Idaho, have come under fire for encouraging and funding explicit LGBT Pride events. One of the events on the docket, a children’s drag show, has received an especially high amount of backlash.

In addition to support and funding from leftist government lackeys, the event is also receiving sponsorship from woke corporate America, including companies like Target, Citibank, Amazon, Wells Fargo, Walmart and Courtyard by Marriott.

The three-day event schedule outlined the parameters of the debauchery, calling it “a drag show like none other.” The ages of the children involved ranged from 18 to as young as 11. All of this will be funded by state and corporate donations.

The conservative Idaho Freedom Foundation voiced their grievances over the event, pointing out that both corporate and statewide money is funding the festival and drag shows. Taxpayer funds from the city of Boise, as well as two state-funded universities, are propping up the hedonistic display.

Local Boise officials, including leftist Mayor Lauren McLean, have doubled-down on their support of the child grooming festival.

The mayor and other officials did not seem bothered to explain their reasoning or defense for the Child Drag shows. As pointed out by the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Pride events have become increasingly “vulgar” in recent years, with nudity and explicit sexual gestures becoming a common occurrence.

The Idaho Republican Party condemned the obscenity being foisted on children by far-Left Democrats under the guise of equity and inclusion.

“Idaho’s Democrat party believes it is not only okay but laudable to encourage children to engage in public displays of sexuality,” chairwoman Dorothy Moon wrote in a statement. “For those who have been following the radicalization of the Democrat party, this should come as no surprise.”

The Idaho GOP also criticized the ultra-woke corporations and companies that are financing “this attack on Idaho’s children.”

“Out-of-state companies promise to bring investment and jobs to Idaho,” Moon wrote. “Instead, they are financing the sexualization of our children and the perverse idea that children should engage in sexual performances with adult entertainers.”

Moon encouraged “all concerned Idahoans — and the lobbying groups that represent many of these out-of-state businesses who seek tax benefits and subsidies from our legislators,” to “invest their sponsorship dollars in the Boise Rescue Mission that serves families, women fleeing abuse, and disadvantaged children,” instead of using their money to fund drag shows for kids.”

“Children should be given the chance to live out a childhood free from violence, hunger, and the sexual appetites of adults,” Moon wrote.

Some of the corporate entities involved include Target, Wells Fargo, Columbia Bank, AT&T, Macy’s and the Blue Cross of Idaho.

At least one corporate sponsor has already pulled its funding, after learning more about the event’s planned public displays of sexuality geared toward children.

“However, when we committed to our sponsorship of this year’s Boise Pride event, we were unaware of the event’s activities involving children/minors,” Zions Bank said in a statement.

“Since learning of these specific activities, we have made the decision to withdraw our participation in this year’s Boise Pride event and have communicated this to the event organizers.”
