(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Lionsgate movie studio installed a new masking mandate for the employees at their flagship office in Santa Monica, California, after several employees reported positive COVID tests.
Lionsgate/Starz Response Manager Sommer McElroy said employees working on the third and fifth floors of the five-story office building required medical-grade face masks for admission.
“Employees must wear a medical grade face covering (surgical mask, KN95 or N95) when indoors except when alone in an office with the door closed, actively eating, actively drinking at their desk or workstation, or if they are the only individual present in a large open workspace,” the internal memo stated.
The memo also detailed the now-required self-screenings and at-home tests, according to the Post Millennial.
Employees with symptoms, or those who recently traveled internationally, must stay home.
Other institutions across the country are also reintroducing anti-COVID measures.
Morris Brown College in Atlanta reintroduced masking mandates after “reports of positive cases among students in the Atlanta University Center.”
Some public health officials, such as those in Los Angeles County, encouraged the immunocompromised population to once again don their masks.
Sources from inside the Biden administration confirmed that regime officials planned to bring back the draconian measures in order to prevent an allegedly new strain of the disease.
A high-level TSA official claimed that new memorandums and policies to re-implement masking procedures should be moved back into place. Masking requirements for TSA and airport employees reportedly restart in mid-September.
“This is an example of policy being guided not by science and data, but rather by fear and control. Lockdowns have devastating impacts on mental health, the economy and general well-being,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the announcement.
Some speculated that the rollout of a new COVID variant—and drastic measures taken against the illness—may be a tactic allowing Democrats to steal the 2024 election.
