Hezbollah Declares ‘Holy War,’ Threatens U.S., Mocks Biden’s Afghanistan Withdrawal

'If an all-out war breaks out, you, Americans, will pay with your ships, your aircrafts and your soldiers...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah issued on Friday a declaration of a “holy war” against Israel, threatening the United States with consequences for its support of the Jewish state.

In a televised address from Lebanon, Nasrallah threatened to expand the ongoing conflict in the region, asserting that Hezbollah’s actions would be contingent on Israel’s offensive in the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip.

Nasrallah’s words underscore the long-standing tensions in the Middle East, with Hezbollah and Hamas both seeking the destruction of Israel and enjoying financial backing from the Iranian government

“For those who say that Hezbollah should start a war in the entire region, I say wait. These are the beginnings,” Nasrallah warned, claiming that the Islamist militant group could decide to take imminent action against Israel in the future.

The terrorist leader didn’t hold back in targeting the U.S., as it supports Israel in its war against Hamas, saying, “Let me be clear: The United States is just as responsible.” As reported by the New York Post, he claimed that U.S. support for Israel enables military actions in Gaza.

“The United States is controlling the war in Gaza, and it is the United States that must pay the price for the crimes perpetrated by the Israelis in Gaza and by the Americans in Iraq and elsewhere,” he cautioned.

“If an all-out war breaks out, you Americans will pay with your ships, your aircrafts and your soldiers,” he added, heightening the ominous tone of his speech.

In a scathing critique of President Joe Biden, Nasrallah taunted the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, referencing the deaths of 13 U.S. service members.

“To the Americans, I say to you, remember your defeats in Lebanon, Iraq, in Afghanistan and remember how you humiliatingly withdrew from Afghanistan,” he said.

Later in the speech, Nasrallah directly mentioned Navy ships and the Air Force as its potential threats. “You, the Americans, you know very well that if war were to erupt in the region that your Navy ships, your Air Force, will be to no available and your interests, your troops your Navy ships, they will pay the price first and foremost, they will be the biggest loser,” he said, according to the Right Scoop.
