(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) The second-largest school district in North Carolina has been actively endorsing sexually-explicit grooming material that was found in classrooms, teaching the “the ins and outs of gay sex” to children as young as 7th grade.
The book, instructively-entitled This Book is Gay and including sub-sections like “Boy to Boy Sex”, was found in the classroom of a Charlotte-Mecklenburg middle school last month, when parents brought it to the attention of WBT Radio.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials originally tried to brush off the incident, which is now drawing national attention after a parent read passages of the gay-sex instructional manual at a school board meeting this week.
Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., was appalled by the graphic and disturbing material that school officials were allowing to be fed to children.
Bishop, a former county commissioner from Mecklenburg who often butted heads with the district’s far-leftist school boards, compared the “graphic groomer porn” found in middle schools to the ruling that a judge issued in 2005 accusing CMS of “academic genocide” for allegedly under-funding education.
“This is what ‘academic genocide’ actually looks like,” Bishop said in an exclusive interview with Headline USA, referring to the sexually-graphic middle school grooming material. “And in service of what? Lunatic, woke insanity.”
The book being defended by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials would seem to meet that definition
“Perhaps the most important skill you will master as a gay or bi man is a timeless classic – the handjob,” advised one portion of the book that concerned parent Christy Wade recited to the school board.
The book, which was found in a 7th-grade classroom and is included in another school’s recommended reading list for 7th graders, provided graphic instructions for “handjobs”.
“The good news is, you can practice it on yourself,” the book informed. “The bad news is, each guy has become very used to his own way of getting himself off.
“Learning how to find a partner’s personal style can take ages, but it can be very rewarding when you do.Something that they don’t teach you in school is that in order to be able to cum at all, you or partner may need to finish off with a handy.”
The passage conveniently provided tips on how to perform the perfect “handy,” assuring that “rubbing two peens together feels awesome!”
An email to parents from CMS’ Collinswood Language Academy Middle School, where the book was found, attempted to rationalize the book being available to children, explaining that it was “part of the teacher’s personal library that is housed in an off-limits section of the classroom.”
“It almost sounded like they were justifying the book being there,” said WBT reporter Brett Jensen, who originally broke the story.
“It wasn’t for curriculum, and somehow the students found it,” cracked Jensen, noting that one Charlotte high school promoted the LGBT agenda as official curriculum in its so-called “Social Justice Homeroom” that had “children teaching children how to come out of the closet.”
It’s all for the kids, the Collinswood principal told parents.
“We support the professional and personal development of our staff, as it helps in ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all of our students,” read principal Carolyn Rodd’s email to parents.
“We remain committed to their academic, physical and emotional and social well-being, and appreciate your support and understanding.”
Wade, the parent who read passages of the book to school board members, said her purpose was to raise awareness and advocate for change.
“If I could tell you how many parents have told me that they don’t believe that this stuff is happening in our schools,” she told WBT.
“That was really my purpose, bringing it to light here in Charlotte, that this stuff really is going on and parents need to be aware of it.”
The awareness was made, but how much of a difference it creates isn’t certain. The school board appeared upset that a parent would have the temerity to bring such filth, which is being promoted in their schools, into public light.
“Any teacher putting material like this on his or her bookshelf is either a bad teacher or a pedophile who grooms children,” Wade told the board. “We will vote you out on November 8th!”
To which school board chair Elyse Dashew smirked, “I’m not on the ballot Nov. 8.”
The sneering response was not well received.
You are next year @elysedashew We won’t forget.

“‘I’m not on the ballot November 8th’ she replies with utter disdain,” wrote another board observer. “They’re lucky these parents are still willing to oust them lawfully.”
