(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Bud Light seems to be taking disciplinary action against its marketing team over an infamous collaboration with transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, placed Alissa Heinerscheid, the marketing vice president, on leave of absence, indicating a potential crackdown on the woke marketing team that caused the company to lose a whopping $6 billion in value over a leftist marketing partnership with Mulvaney, an embattled transgender influencer.
Heinerscheid, who came under fire for apparently admitting the Mulvaney partnership was a deliberate affront to loyal consumers, is to be replaced by Todd Allen, the global marketing vice-president, reported Beer Business Daily, which first broke the story.
The company also said it is reducing layers “so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brand’s activities,” a spokesperson said.
“These steps will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and our country,” the spinner spun.
“We communicated some next steps with our internal teams and wholesaler partners,” the company said, adding that “we made it clear that the safety and welfare of our employees and our partners is our top priority.”
The company’s statement appeared to be addressing reports that senior leadership at Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch was left in the dark about the controversial social media partnership with Mulvaney, which left some of Bud Light’s distributors “spooked” by the backlash resulting from the controversial partnership, reported Beer Business Daily
“No one at the senior level” approved the campaign, a source close to Bud Light told the Daily Wire.
“Heads should roll,” said conservative commentator John Cardillo in response to an April 4 tweet claiming that “execs are angry at the release of Dylan Mulvaney can.”
As I’ve been digging into this, I’m finding this to be 100% true@AnheuserBusch has donated far more to GOP candidates than Dems, and FAR more than woke @MolsonCoors.
Looks like the Dylan Mulvaney campaign was not approved by senior execs.

Donald Trump Jr., former President Donald Trump’s son, called on conservatives to halt their boycott of the beer citing the company’s past campaign donations to Republicans.
“This could be just the act of one rouge, woke, lunatic in a marketing department filled with leftist staffers,” decried Trump Jr., in his Triggered Rumble show. The first son’s attempt to call off the boycott had little effect, as media reports estimate Bud Light and its parent company face a multi-billion-dollar loss in shares.
It is unclear when, or if, the embattled marketing vice president will return to her post.
