Employment Booming in Texas as Jobs Surpass Pre-COVID Level

'Texas continues to reach unprecedented milestones thanks to our unwavering commitment to economic freedom... '

According to a press release from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott‘s office, the state has reached its lowest unemployment rate since before the Chinese Virus lockdowns.

According to the report, “the unemployment rate in Texas has fallen to 5.2%, a decrease of 0.2% from October 2021. Texas has added a total of 698,700 jobs since November 2020.”

Abbott emphasized that the state’s growth largely emerges from its relaxed economic laws, while also spouting platitudes about youth and diversity.

“Texas continues to reach unprecedented milestones thanks to our unwavering commitment to economic freedom and our young, skilled, growing, and diverse workforce,” he said.

“By reaching nearly 13 million jobs last month, Texas has surpassed our pre-pandemic employment levels — a remarkable achievement and testament to our welcoming business climate and strong workforce,” Abbott continued. “We will continue to unleash the full might of our economy, attract new business investments, and ensure a more prosperous future for all who call Texas home.”

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Commissioner Representing Labor Julian Alvarez, who partnered with Abbott and the state government to produce the numbers, emphasized that the state has become a spot for people to develop the necessary skills to succeed in a corporate economy.

“Texas is not only a great place to live but a great place to find a career, and we’ve now surpassed a milestone of employment,” he said.

“We continue to add positions month after month in our labor market,” he said, “and TWC is here to support job seekers with the training and career development tools they need to succeed.”

The massive growth in Texas contrasts with the simultaneous self-destruction of California, which has crippled itself by creating an impenetrable web of tedious regulations.

The embattled state has attempted to counter a weakening economy and fleeing populace by adding even more regulations, most recently cracking down on lawn care equipment, trucks, and farming.
