(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Easter festivities in Austin, Texas, included a parent dressed as the Easter Bunny handing out eggs packed with candy and unopened condoms at an elementary school, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
A parent showed up at my kids’ elementary school dressed as an Easter Bunny during pickup. He handed out eggs, mostly filled with candy. Some with unopened condoms. Not sure this is the Austin weird I signed up for.

“Not sure this is the Austin weird I signed up for,” parent Nathan Jensen said in a social media post.
Gullett Elemantary School officials sent a letter following the giveaway, explaining that the visit was not planned or approved by school staff.
“We are working to review our safety protocols to ensure this does not happen again,” a district spokesperson said. “It was an incredibly careless and inappropriate action of a parent.”
Officials, including the Austin ISD Police Department, spoke with the parent in the costume and are performing an investigation to determine whether or not charges will be pressed.
The parent, who is a pharmacist, took part in a safe sex clinic while dressed in the bunny suit earlier that day, and handed out eggs with condoms inside. Afterward, she went to pick up her child from school and decided to hand out candy while in-costume.
The parent was mobbed by children, ran out of candy, and called her husband to bring more candy-filled eggs.
Update: A pharmacist ran a clinic in a bunny suit about safe sex. She picked up her 2nd grader in costume and handed out some candy. Got mobbed by kids, ran out of candy and called her husband. Her husband brought the wrong eggs. Chaos ensued. https://t.co/zLypppQnBD
