(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Disney announced it will be hosting its inaugural a “Pride Nite” as part of their lineup of “Disneyland After Dark” events at its California theme park.
The event—which requires the purchase of separate tickets—will celebrate “the LGBTQIA+ community and allies” with a series of late-night raves, photo ops with classic Disney characters in themed outfits and gay-themed food and drink options.

The event, which is slated to start on June 13, will kick off with a pre-party “Pride Nite Cavalcade,” followed by a private party slated to go until 1 a.m., where paying guests will be allowed to attend the “Ohana Dance Party in Tomorrowland, a Pride Night Dance Club at the Rivers of America and a country line dancing event at the Golden Horseshoe.”
Only a limited number of tickets are available for the event.
The statement announcing the party does not expressly forbid the attendance of minors or provide an age range for attendees.
As of now, the “After Dark” event will take place only at Disneyland, the park just south of Anaheim, California. The company has not announced the planning of a similar event for Disney World in Florida, as Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to fight groomer culture in his state.
Twitter reacted to the news of the adult-themed party taking place at a purportedly family-friendly theme park.
Do we have to bring in the poppers or will Mickey be handing them out?

“How about families stop attending their theme parks?” Another user asked. “That’s quite literally their only source of income now. Talking to you fellow millennials—the things you watched as a kid [are] no longer valued, time to stop pretending.”

“I think it’s time we put nostalgia aside and abandon this company,” WaningSon proclaimed. “As best we can anyway. I mean, you basically have to stop watching television, but that’s probably not a bad thing.”
Several users jokingly asked if Budweiser agreed to sponsor the event as the embattled beer company attempts to backpedal on its own bellyflop into the transgender culture-war.
Sponsored by Budweiser?

Despite cratering profits, massive layoffs and a rushed internal reorganization, catering to the whims of wokeists took priority for Disney.
Recently, the company has even gone as far as openly pushing for reparations and advocating for a transgender princess in content for children.
