Could Jeffries’s Anti-Semitic Past Haunt Dems amid Hamas Tensions?

'The sad part here is, Biden didn’t denounce that. Hakeem Jeffries haven’t denounced that...'

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, DN.Y., realized that supporting Israel to cover up his anti-Semitic past is not easy when almost his entire political party actively supports Palestine and Hamas in their desire to destroy Jews.

After he replaced long-serving Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., at the end of 2022, Jeffries thought that nobody would bring up his anti-Semitic remarks simply because he became the first black congressional leader in the party’s history. He was wrong.

It was very quickly revealed that, while he was still in college, Jeffries defended Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and his uncle, Leonard Jeffries, who himself made some anti-Semitic comments in the 1990s, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

“Russian Jewry had a particular control over the movies, and their financial partners, the Mafia, put together a financial system of destruction of black people,” Leonard, who used to be the chair of the Black Studies Department at the City University of New York at the time, said in 1991. In addition to that, his uncle also compared Jews to “dogs” and “skunks.”

As a result, he was forced out of his chairmanship in 1995 after a court battle, the news source added.

When he was first elected to Congress in 2013, Jeffries tried shielding himself from the haunting past by saying that he had only a “vague recollection” of the despicable remarks because his parents protected him from doing his research on his uncle.

However, the resurfaced opinion piece from a student newspaper by Jeffries revealed that he not only knew what the controversy was all about but also actively defended his uncle and Farrakhan, another infamous hater of Jews.

“Dr. Leonard Jeffries and Minister Louis Farrakhan have come under intense fire. Where do you think their interests lie? Dr. Jeffries has challenged the existing white supremacist educational system and long-standing distortion of history. His reward has been a media lynching complete with character assassinations and inflammatory erroneous accusations,” Jeffries wrote at the time.

As a result of that, Jeffries doubled down on his support of Jews, in general, and Israel, in particular, by pleasing American pro-Israel groups, for example.

When Kanye West revealed himself as an anti-Semitic Hitler sympathizer on Alex Jones’s show, which, somehow, even made the latter speechless, Jeffries and other Democrats issued a statement, in which they denounced West’s rhetoric.

“The words, actions and baseless conspiracy theories viciously spewed by the individual formerly known as Kanye West are detestable, historically inaccurate and sickening. Hitler represents pure evil and he must forever be castigated and banished to the dustbin of history. The Holocaust happened, six million Jews were murdered and it constituted an unthinkable crime against humanity,” they wrote.

In addition to criticizing celebrities who willfully decide to end their careers live on air, Jeffries also doubled down on denouncing members of his party like Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., who once called Israel a “racist state.”

However, after the brutal attack on Israel by Hamas that resulted in deaths, rapes and kidnappings of thousands of innocent people, including some foreigners, Jeffries soon realized that a few “bad apples” in the party were actually the majority of Democrats when many of them defended Palestine while also opposing Israel and outright celebrating or denying the atrocities that were committed by the terrorists.

Among the despicable things that Democrats said and did after Oct. 7, 2023, were refusing to condemn Hamas’s decapitations of Jewish babies and retract and apologize for the Gaza hospital hoax. Jewish-hating leftists in Congress also released a letter demanding a ceasefire.

Aside from the politicians from the Democratic party, there were also regular leftists who started actively supporting Palestine and Hamas. On Oct. 24, 2023, one of these groups even went to Jeffries’s office to make him support the ceasefire too.

Captured by the present and haunted by his past, Jeffries realized that he couldn’t outright support Israel anymore while being a Democrat and couldn’t denounce Palestine, Hamas or even those American politicians who supported the terrorists, which resulted in everybody criticizing him for trying to be neutral about what’s going on.

“The sad part here is, Biden didn’t denounce that. Hakeem Jeffries haven’t denounced that,” RINO Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said, while talking about Tlaib’s pro-Hamas statement, according to The Hill.
