CDC Potentially Harvesting Citizens’ DNA From COVID Nasal Swab Tests

'Did the CDC get permission from people to take their DNA? ... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) A new disclosure from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that Americans who took a COVID-19 nasal swab PCR test may have had their DNA harvested.

“Remember that #COVID19 nose swab test you took?” the post reads. “What happened to the swab? If it was processed with a PCR test, there’s a 10% chance that it ended up in a lab for genomic sequencing analysis. Learn more about the process and its importance.”

The sequencing is done with cooperation between local, state and federal agencies as well as academic and clinical labs, reported Infowars.

Further inciting concerns about the potential for government agencies harvesting and collecting DNA samples from unwitting citizens, a video report contained in the CDC’s tweet explains how nose swabs detect new strains of SARS-CoV-2, while alleging that only “10%” of samples collected are sent in for genomic sequencing testing.

Scientists, the video claims, only look at the genetic makeup of the viruses and not the DNA of the humans connected to each sample.

That low-ball number is raising questions, coming from a government that has seen its credibility and trustworthiness crumble under the Biden administration’s handling of the COVID pandemic.

Regardless of the actual percentage, the collection of DNA from citizens, almost certainly without their knowledge or explicit consent, is alarming.

“Did the CDC get permission from people to take their DNA?” asked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

The CDC denies any wrongdoing and already mainstream media is rushing to provide cover, with Newsweek trotting out a professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition at Harvard to quell any criticism, although he agreed it’s entirely possible that the government or private labs could be harvesting DNA from the public.

“There is no need to test human DNA, but of course, it will be on the swab so it could be tested, which is probably what people may worry about if they are in [a] conspiracy mood,” said Albert Ascherio.

The erudite professor’s waffling assurances and snide “conspiracy” swipes aside, there is precedent to reasonably suspect a government would seek to build a database of human DNA, according to Infowars, which noted that the U.S. government has been collecting DNA samples of nearly every child born in the nation’s hospitals for decades now.

Further, Infowars noted, the Pentagon in 2019 warned all military personnel not to take mail-in DNA tests.
