Border Rancher Sees 2,400% Surge in Illegal Immigrants on His Property

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USAArizona rancher John Ladd announced that due to President Joe Biden‘s immigration policies, he has seen a 2,400% surge in illegal immigration on his land.

Ladd, who lives along Highway 92 — a central route for drug trafficking and drug cartel violence — has been slammed with illegals, who have damaged his cattle and property, and have also ravaged his land, reported the Epoch Times.

He also expressed frustration with Biden for allowing this to happen.

“I’m not going to say there’s no hope, but nothing’s going to change as long as Biden’s there and his administration,” Ladd said. “And so what are we going to do? Just let them come through?”

He and his family must also live in constant fear of being robbed or attacked by violent criminals pouring across the border unchecked.

“We’ve got a gun at every door in the house,” he said. “We had to go through all that again with the family—you better understand if you’re gonna shoot somebody, the consequences, and you better make sure you’re really in danger.”

A local sheriff confirmed Ladd’s emphasis on the dangers posed by the most recent round of illegals.

According to Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels, the illegals coming across the border are especially troublesome, many of them being members of cartels or gangs.

“These people can’t turn themselves in, they’ll get deported. These are the bad people. We’re dealing with the worst of the worst,” he said.

Aside from having to pay damages and deal with increasing danger, Ladd also emphasized the increased costs that he has been forced to endure due to Biden’s open-minded policies.

“The amount of labor involved to get cattle now is three or four times what somebody 50 miles north has to put up with,” he said.

His property’s value has also been halved by our tolerant and empathetic president.
