(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) America First Legal (AFL), a conservative group, has unveiled an updated version of its controversial “Woke Wagon” website, offering a searchable database containing detailed information on Biden Administration political appointees, particularly their ties to far-left entities and movements.
The database, first introduced a year ago, now boasts improved features, enhanced search functions, and a larger collection of profiles. AFL reported that it obtained the information through multiple Freedom of Information Act investigations to various infamous Biden federal agencies.
“We are excited to be able to provide the American people with a resource that anyone can use to determine who is driving policy changes to advance the Biden Administration’s radical agenda,” Gene Hamilton, AFL vice president and general counsel said in the press release. “The Woke Wagon is a vital resource for Congress, for journalists, for other nonprofits, for businesses across the country, but most importantly–for YOU.”
The database has already stirred controversy within the Biden administration after it shed light on Biden appointees’ ties to organizations that have hosted drag queen story hours for children. According to a report from Fox News, key political appointees to the Biden administration have previously worked for Planned Parenthood.
“A handful of Biden administration political appointees previously worked for prominent progressive advocacy groups including Planned Parenthood and touted work on ‘woke’ issues such as ‘health equity’ and ‘queer liberation,’” Fox reported in December 2022, citing documents obtained through AFL’s database.
An earlier report from Fox News revealed troubling ties between employees at the Department of Education and unions.
“According to the resumes housed in America First Legal’s (AFL) ‘Woke Wagon’ database, more than 20 Department of Education political appointees worked on the Biden administration, while many more worked for other Democratic candidates for president like Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris or Pete Buttigieg,” Fox reported in August 2022.
The new database contains the information of over 2,200 political appointees in the Biden government. Users can now search through tags to browse potential affiliations with leftist non-profit organizations, and political campaigns.
