(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In another blatant display of an aggressively authoritarian push using government agents to target opponents of the leftist Democrat regime, the FBI on Tuesday conducted an ambush seizure of Rep. Scott Perry’s cellphone, disrupting the Pennsylvania Republican’s time with his family.
FBI agents confronted Perry, chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, while he was traveling with his family, producing a warrant and confiscating the lawmaker’s phone, reported Fox News.
The seizure comes in the shadow of Monday’s unprecedented militarized raid that the FBI launched on Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump’s home. The FBI was reportedly searching for classified materials that were allegedly stashed there by Trump.
Now Congressman Scott Perry’s phone?
The FBI has gone rogue and is doing the dirty work of a communist regime.
Who is giving these orders?

The Biden administration’s repeated use of weaponizing the FBI and Justice Department to target regime opposition is a disturbing and unacceptable trend, Perry said.
“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone,” Perry said in a statement, adding that the FBI made “no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish.
“I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress,” Perry said.
“My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”
For the second time in as many days, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy blasted AG Garland and the FBI’s overreach and abuse of authority.
“Criminals run rampant across our cities but Garland’s politicized DOJ is targeting President Trump and Members of Congress,” McCarthy wrote.
“Garland has lost the trust of the American people and will answer for his abusive tactics.”
The government’s confiscation of Perry’s cellphone was roundly condemned as the actions of a banana republic dictatorship. Perry has long been a prime target of the J6 Inquisition, part of the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s ongoing witch hunt of Trump and any of his allies.
Earlier this year, Perry filed articles of impeachment against Garland for lying about not targeting parents as potential domestic terrorists at school board protests.
Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said that with the seizure of Perry’s phone, “Biden escalates assault on constitutional gov’t,” while Act For America’s Brigitte Gabriel called the FBI “Biden’s brown shirts.”
The Stasi-like seizure was a repeat performance for regime agents, which in June snatched Trump attorney John Eastman’s phone as he and his wife were leaving a restaurant. That same month, FBI agents forced their way into the house of former Trump administration official Jeffrey Clark in a raid to seize all of his electronic devices.
Also in June, Biden junta agents ambushed former Trump aide Peter Navarro at an airport, handcuffed him and whisked him away in leg irons, jailed on a contempt charge for failing to recognize the legitimacy of the J6 Inquisition and refusing to be interrogated by its inquisitors.
“What they did to me today violated the Constitution,” Navarro said at the time.
The pattern has remained abusively consistent, noted Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo.
“Rep. Scott Perry files articles of impeachment against Merrick Garland,” she tweeted. “Garland sends the FBI to retrieve his private cell phone.
“This is America, and these Gestapo tactics are not welcome. There will be a reckoning,” she forecast.
First they came for President Trump, now the FBI has seized the personal cell phone of Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Scott Perry.
We will not be intimidated.
We will not back down to Biden’s thugs.
Game on.

“The Biden regime,” tweeted Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., “is out of control.”
