Biden Invites Radical Group That Organizes Student Protests to White House

(Headline USA) President Joe Biden invited to the White House a radical leftist group that organized student walk-outs in protest of a leaked Supreme Court draft showing the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Internal Slack messages from Generation Ratify, which encouraged young high school students to ditch school in support of “abortion rights,” show the group will be heading to the White House soon, according to Fox News.

“We are invited to the White House! A couple of days ago I received an invitation to an in-person meeting on the importance of abortion access and other reproductive care for young people with the White House Office of Public Engagement and the Gender Policy Council,” Rosie Couture, the group’s executive director, told the group’s members.

Parents Defending Education President Nicole Neily slammed Generation Ratify as an exploitative group that seeks to take advantage of young, impressionable minors.

“This administration wants kids to carry picket signs they can’t read, and to chant slogans that they can’t writeThis administration wants kids to carry picket signs they can’t read, and to chant slogans that they can’t write,” she said in a statement.

“National literacy rates are at historic lows in the wake of the pandemic, and many children lost an entire year of learning.”

Instead of pushing back on this group’s political efforts, “the Biden administration celebrates activists who encourage kids to skip school and attend protests,” Neily said. “We need an administration focused on education not activism.”

One of the student protests organized by Generation Ratify took place in Virginia and drew the attention of the state’s attorney general, Jason Miyares.

“Everyone has the right to respectfully and peacefully protest in America, but schools also have the right to administer consequences for missing class,” he said in a statement.
