(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) After posting a series of videos describing “gender affirmation surgeries” the Boston Children’s Hospital has faced severe backlash, but an attorney associated with the Biden administration has stepped up in support of the hospital.
US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Rachael Splaine Rollins released a statement condemning any threats the hospital has received, the Post Millennial reported.
“Today’s news about the alleged threats directed at Boston Children’s Hospital transgender health program is disturbing to say the least,” she said.
“Children deserve an opportunity to thrive and grow as their own authentic selves,” she continued. “Parents/Guardians and health case providers who support them in that journey should be allowed to do so free of threats and harassment.”

The hospital staff has been reportedly receiving threats, and the PR office “sent an email to employees with guidance on how to respond to harassment and threats.”
They also claimed there was an a “increase of threatening and aggressive phone calls and emails sent to the hospital commenting on treatment of transgender patients.”
None of these threats have been made public.
A reporter with the Post Millennial received a tip stating that only one phone call was received, and “there has been nothing about threats or increased security.”
“The article makes it sound like they have warned us of dangerous, imminent threats and have increased security. The only mention of anything pertaining to all of this was the email I shared with you,” the source said.
“I guarantee most people who work there have no idea what is happening. They have told us nothing about increasing security or to be wary of danger in anyway. Only to refer emails and calls to PR.”
The tipster also commented on the age for procedures mentioned in the videos, claiming that the doctors at the Boston hospital perform mastectomies on 15-year-olds.
