(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) As tensions grow in Russia and Ukraine, President Joe Biden continues to escalate the situation with talk of using nuclear weapons to counter the Russians.
Now, seemingly to prepare for Armageddon, sleepy Joe has begun stockpiling medicine used to treat the ill effects of radiation from nuclear bombs, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
Radiation sickness can spread into the organs within seconds of exposure, leading to blood clotting, internal bleeding and possibly death.
Biden’s U.S. Department of Health and Human Services purchased $290 million of the anti-radiation drug Nplate from Amgen Inc.
HHS made the purchase under the 2004 Project Bioshield Act, which was passed to allow the executive branch to stockpile medical supplies under the threat of nuclear or bio-warfare.
The failing president’s preparation for nuclear fallout comes just days after he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued threats to Russia and its President Vladimir Putin.
“We’re going to continue to support [Ukraine] but for the first time since the Cuban missile crisis, we have the direct threat of the use of a nuclear weapon if in fact things continue down the path that they are going,” Biden said, alluding to the increasing rhetoric and threats of using nuclear weapons from Russian President Vladimir Putin, as his invasion has reportedly not only stalled, but is losing ground.
Even still, the White House has denied that there is any serious threat beyond rhetoric at this point, calling Putin’s words “nuclear saber-rattling.”
Zelenskyy, who is the top candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize, was more direct, asking NATO to preemptively nuke Russia.
In his view, NATO should “eliminate” the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons, with “pre-emptive/preventive strikes” so that Russia will “know what will happen to them” if they used nukes.
