(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) For the second time in as many weeks, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was ridiculed, heckled and hooted down by protesters for advocating policies that have helped skyrocket crime and drive the country into economic recession.
The heckling got so bad Wednesday at a town hall event in Queens, N.Y., with protesters chanting “AOC has got to go” and beating a drum, that the far-leftist Squad leader appeared to crack. She broke into a bizarre dance while guzzling water at one point, left the room at another, and returned spewing an insultingly outrageous accent to lecture the crowd.
After having the lights turned out and leaving the auditorium, to the cheers of the crowd, Ocasio-Cortez explained upon her return that “I’m just not allowed to be in a room with the lights turned out. It get’s a little …” and trailed off toward the stage and an accent change.
The lights might not have gone out entirely on Ocasio-Cotez’s political sway, but they’ve dimmed considerably judging by recent public appearances.
“Everyone is sick of this fraud,” tweeted one disgruntled podcaster after AOC’s showing at the town hall.

“Any good leader would be thoughtful when handling constituents who are upset with their leadership. Not this woman,” wrote Moms4Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice.
“Watch as AOC sits, legs spread wide open, mocking her constituents by dancing and sticking out her tongue as they tell her they want her out of office. Gross.”
The former bartender turned activist politician was also shouted down by protesters at a town hall last week for supporting the Biden administration’s prolific spending and benevolent backing of the Ukraine government’s war with Russia.
During the latest humiliating event on Wednesday, AOC apparently spotted a sign in the crowd that read “Wake up New York. Vote for Tina Forte. F–k AOC.”
“Very classy. Thank you, sir,” Ocasio-Cortez sneered as she perched on stage.
Republican Tina Forte is a heavy underdog in the race against AOC for a deep-blue district the incumbent won in 2020 with 70% of the vote.
Despite the long-shot prospect of a win, Forte has campaigned aggressively, hitting Ocasio-Cortez for her positions on everything from abortion and transgender grooming to illegal immigration.

Forte has also repeatedly pressed AOC to debate, a challenge that the incumbent has ducked and dodged.
“AOC can’t defend her elitist policies destroying our economy,” Forte tweeted. “She can’t defend her ‘bail reform’ creating a violent crime surge. Tell @AOC to accept my challenge for a debate to expose her radical Socialist policies.”
I showed up to the community forum tonight in Jackson Heights. @AOC was a NO SHOW. #DebateMeAOC pic.twitter.com/ToQjj9JwdM
