(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) CNN commentator and token leftist Republican Ana Navarro recently cited Down syndrome and Autistic relatives as reasons for abortions in a noxious rant, and has doubled down saying no one should “tell you what you need to do with your life or with your uterus.”
According to Big League Politics, Navarro specifically cited her own brother.
“I have a family with a lot of special needs kids,” Navarro said. “I have a brother who’s 57 and has the mental and motor skills of a one-year-old. And I know what that means financially, emotionally, physically for a family. And I know not all families can do it.”
She also discussed her step-grandchildren, one of whom is autistic and another who has Down syndrome.
She did not address any specific issues that her family members face when taking care of their special needs children; she just mentioned that it is “difficult to get services in Florida.”
“People in that society, in that community will tell you that they have considered suicide because it is so difficult to get help,” she concluded.
Predictably, Navarro’s comments were not well received.
Let me get this straight… My oldest daughter is autistic. She’s 11 but her mind is probably 7/8. She saying I would’ve been better off getting her aborted because there’s a very good chance she will have to be taken care of or with me at some compacity?

Margaret Sanger saw abortion as a means to rid society of Black people Ana Navarro sees abortion as a means to read society of Down syndrome and special needs people. Abortion for some is a tool to rid society of a sector of the population. That they deem less than desirable.
