(Abdul–Rahman Oladimeji Bello, Headline USA) A bombshell analysis by conservative media outlets suggested that the “crisis” created by the Jan. 6, 2021, uprising at the U.S. Capitol may have been necessary for corrupt deep-state actors to finalize their steal of the 2020 election under special emergency rules in Congress.
Following the recent release of video footage from the Capitol, the conservative Last Refuge blog questioned whether then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., may have had a hand in coordinating the so-called insurrection, which her daughter and son-in-law were conveniently on hand to film.
Many skeptics have argued that undercover operatives from the intelligence community—or other agencies—were planted in the crowd to foment violence as part of a false-flag operation that would undermine then-President Donald Trump.
Pelosi was officially in control of the U.S. Capitol Police, who were seen allowing protestors into the building and helping to usher them around. She also refused Trump’s offer of National Guard support until late in the day with the unrest already in progress.
At least 1,000 tourists, many of whom had attended a Trump rally that morning have since been arrested, indefinitely detained and charged with felonies for entering the Capitol as the Joint Session of Congress sought to certify the disputed results of the 2020 election.
Several Republicans were in the process of challenging the specific slates of state electors when the Capitol breech was announced.
The session was temporarily suspended, but Congress was able to reconvene later in the day from a secured location—this time operationg under special “emergency” rules established by Pelosi.
As noted by the Gateway Pundit, the challenges raised by Republican lawmakers were legally recognized procedures that would have required the House to halt the certifications and vote to determine the next line of action.
“The crisis was created to eliminate the motion challenges to halt the certification and to begin voting to look into voting irregularities and fraud,” said the website.
The tables changed when Congress returned that night as Pelosi was now in charge instead of then-Vice President Mike Pence, who had, per the U.S. Constitution, presided over the earlier Joint Session.
With the new rules in place, no one had the ability to consider halting the certification, and there was no disagreement from House members.
Although there was some question over whether Pence had the authority to halt the certification or whether he simply presided over the ceremony, the state of “emergency” helped settle the question once and for all, assuring there was no legal or political remedy for issues relating to fraud or doubts about electoral irregularities.
