(Headline USA) CBS News censored its own documentary after the film revealed that 70% of the funds the U.S. has sent to Ukraine has been wasted.
The media outlet posted a tweet on Friday promoting its new film, Arming Ukraine, saying the documentary “explores why much of the billions of dollars of military aid that the U.S. is sending to Ukraine doesn’t make it to the front lines.”
Only 30% of the aid “reaches its final destination,” according to experts familiar with the situation on the ground, reported Summit News.
“There are power lords, oligarchs, political players,” one NGO worker said. “It’s power games all day long.”

The US has provided Ukraine with nearly $10bn in aid. But according to a now-deleted CBS documentary, nobody knows where this aid goes…

But within three days of being published, the documentary was removed entirely from CBS’s website. In its place is a “page not found” label.
CBS claimed in a statement that it had removed the documentary from its social media pages and website because of “developing” information.
We removed a tweet promoting our recent doc, “Arming Ukraine,” which quoted the founder of the nonprofit Blue-Yellow, Jonas Ohman’s assessment in late April that only around 30% of aid was reaching the front lines in Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/EgA96BrD9O

“Since that time, Ohman says delivery has improved. Additionally, the U.S. military has confirmed that defense attaché Brigadier General Garrick M. Harmon arrived in Kyiv in August for arms control and monitoring,” the network said. “We are updating our documentary to reflect this new information and air at a later date.”
