(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked if the White House has been blacklisting certain reporters, in what would be a unique case of reverse discrimination coming from the black, gay woman who has accused Fox News as being racist.
Washington Post journal Steven Nelson asked the question in a recent press briefing, Zero Hedge reported.
“There’s a process where people are selected and able to go into these presidential events where the president often takes questions,” Nelson noted.
He continued, becoming more direct.
“The correspondence association has tried in vain to figure out how this process works,” he said. “Over time it has kind of morphed into a kind of blacklist where ceritan large media outlets such as my own are—”
Nelson was then cut off by Jean-Pierre expressing shock at the term “blacklist.”
“I’m just saying that I represent the fourth-largest newspaper in the country and I haven’t been selected since November,” Nelson concluded.
Jean-Pierre dodged the question, saying she would “look into it.”
“I actually don’t know about the process that you’re speaking of. I think ‘blacklisting’ is a very strong word to use,” she said indignantly.
“We have tried to make sure that press gets to hear from the president directly—it is important for us, it is important for you all, it is important for the American people.
Twitter users took Jean-Pierre to task for her bumbling speech.
Does she ever have an answer to a question in the moment?

We used to have a President that talked to us nearly every day, directly, and embraced it and us, regardless of whether we liked what he said. Good times, good times.
