WaPo Editorial Board Admits Complicity in Hunter Laptop Cover-Up

'Twitter blocked the story altogether, pointing to a policy against hacked materials... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The editorial board of The Washington Post has admitted to its complicity in covering up the Hunter Biden laptop scandal that broke just prior to the 2020 election.

The Post was given access to the contents of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop soon after the story broke, but chose not to release any of its findings until late last month, claiming that the story was based upon ‘Russian disinformation,’ according to 100 percent Fed Up.

But now the mainstream newspaper’s editorial board has suggested that the story is legitimate after spending over a year suggesting otherwise.

In their statement, the editorial board tried to pass off blame on other mainstream publications:

“For now, what’s more compelling than the assorted accusations about the Bidens’ behavior is this question: Why is confirmation of a story that first surfaced in the fall of 2020 emerging only now? When the New York Post published its blockbuster exclusive on the contents of a laptop said to have been abandoned at a Delaware repair shop by Hunter Biden, mainstream media organizations balked at running with the same narrative. Social media sites displayed even greater caution.”

They also shifted the blame to social media giants Twitter and Facebook, who took part in the widespread coverup.

“Twitter blocked the story altogether, pointing to a policy against hacked materials, and suspended the New York Post’s account for sharing it; Facebook downranked the story in the algorithms that govern users’ news feeds for fear that it was based on misinformation,” they wrote.

Both The Washington Post and the New York Times have now verified the truthful reporting of the NY Post.

“Now, The Washington Post and the New York Times have vouched for many of the relevant communications.” the Editorial Board continued.

The board concluded by suggesting that there is great danger in suppressing news stories for partisan reasons.
