(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) A legion of leftist politicians and activists have created a new super PAC, Agenda PAC, to target Republicans who oppose homosexual marriages and other parts of the radical LGBT political program.
This super Political Action Committee is not a positive campaigning tool. Instead, the slush fund exists to campaign against candidates “to defeat anti-LGBTQ candidates in the midterms and beyond,” per Politico.
Politico reported one of the group’s founding members said, “The Trump Republicans are using transgender and LGBTQ issues so aggressively and harmfully in the elections, and I think they should be called out on it.”
Agenda PAC demonstrated its negative purpose in its initial propaganda video.
Politico mentioned two targets of Agenda PAC. One is an active target and the other is a potential target.
The active one is Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, who is targeted because he argued that “LGBTQ couples should not be allowed to adopt children, gay marriage should not be legal, and transgender females should not be permitted to compete in women’s sports.”
Politico also reported that the group intends to attack Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., if he runs for president. Agenda PAC is planning to target DeSantis because of his anti-grooming law. Agenda PAC’s chair said, “It’s not a shock to anybody that DeSantis is thinking about running for president and we’re prepared to crap on him the whole way.”
Super PACs are powerful because they can raise and receive unlimited money in political campaigns. Thus, one of the most critical questions relating to any super PAC is, “who is funding it?” Unfortunately, the answer to this question is a well-kept secret, as of now, for Agenda PAC.
Neither Politico nor NBC News mentioned the funding behind this group. Federal law requires super PACs to disclose their donors. Those disclosures may be found at opensecrets. While Agenda PAC has a page for the 2022 cycle on Opensecrets, its donor list is empty as of this writing.
While it’s not known who is funding the anti-family values slush fund, it is known who is operating it. Ted Bordelon, a “political communications strategist,” founded the group, per NBC News. He will also be the super PAC’s executive director. State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Pa., the first black homosexual elected as a state rep in Pennsylvania, will be the group’s chair, per NBC News.
Politico reported several other leftists associated with the group:
- Celinda Lake, a 2020 Biden pollster
- Joe Trippi, Howard Dean’s campaign manager
- Shevrin Jones, the first homosexual state senator in Florida
- Megan Hunt, a bisexual single mother in Nebraska’s state legislature
The leaders of this super PAC told Politico that they formed the slush-fund because of the Dobbs decision. This despite Justice Alito’s clear and firm statement that Dobbs was exclusively about abortion.
Still, the creation of Agenda PAC is an excellent example of the Dobbs case forcing democrats to the Left.
