(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Despite being handed what investigators considered a solid and damning case against professional deviant and alleged sex abuser and child groomer Marilyn Manson, embattled Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon declined this week to file charges, leaving law enforcement officials and Manson’s alleged victims outraged and frustrated.
After concluding an exhaustive investigation that lasted nearly two years, the Los Angeles Sheriff Department’s Special Victims Bureau presented its case to Gascon, who called the evidence he received “partial,” and not enough to file charges, the Daily Mail reported.
“Once we receive everything, experienced prosecutors will carefully and deliberatively review everything that has been submitted prior to making a filing decision,” balked a statement from the prosecutor’s office.
Gascon has achieved a notorious reputation for declining to prosecute even the most egregious of crimes, regardless of supporting evidence or strong investigative work.
His leftist so-called criminal justice reform agenda has driven a spike in Los Angeles crime rates and sparked a recall effort, which has become embroiled in allegations of corruption after it was derailed when thousands of collected signatures were scrubbed from the petition to place a recall on the ballot.
The sheriff’s office began investigating Manson, a washed-up freak rocker whose real name is Brian Warner, based on complaints filed by actress Evan Rachel Wood and several other women, accusing Manson of sexual abuse and other crimes.
“He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years,” Wood, who was in a relationship with Manson until splitting in 2010, posted at the time on Instagram. “I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.”
“The incidents occurred between 2009 and 2011 when Mr. Warner lived in the city of West Hollywood,” sheriff’s investigators revealed last year, reported Rolling Stone. Multiple women have accused Manson of sexual and physical abuse.
A search warrant was served in November at the home of Manson, who has denied all charges, as part of what law enforcement called an exhaustive investigation. The statute of limitations for rape in California is 10 years, so any charges may depend on the type of offense and how long ago it happened.
That’s assuming the Soros-backed leftist Gascon ever decides to file charges, despite the L.A. Sheriff Office’s having completed it years-long investigation.
