(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) Serial anti-Trump liar Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., has claimed that evidence of President Donald Trump’s active role in fomenting the Jan. 6 so-called riot at the Capitol is “very powerful.”

In an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Schiff reprised his Trump-era role as the Democrats’ crazy-eyed “intelligence” expert — he knows everything progressive Twitter knows, and more besides! — and accused Trump of telling a “big lie” in order to whip up supporters to help him overturn the 2020 election.
“The evidence is very powerful that Donald Trump began telling this big lie even before the election that he was saying that any ballots counted after election day were going to be inherently suspect,” Schiff said.
“That lie continued after the election and ultimately led to this mob assembling and attacking the Capitol.”
In his trademark style, Schiff went on to claim that “there’s a lot more testimony where that came from” and demanded that the Justice Department begin official investigations into Trump and his allies.
“I would like to see the Justice Department investigate any credible allegation of criminal activity on the part of Donald Trump or anyone else,” Schiff said.
“We have now a federal judge saying that he believes . . . that the president and others may have committed multiple federal crimes.”
Schiff’s performance was reminiscent of his role in whipping the media into a frenzy regarding Trump’s alleged and now totally debunked collusion with Russia during and after the 2016 election.
In the words of The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway, Schiff “day after day, week after week, month after month . . . fed information to a compliant media about how this collusion was real.”
Far from being held to account for his constant lies to the American people, Schiff is now a key member of the partisan J6 Committee.
Reminder that the January 6 committee is being led by Rep. Bennie Thompson, who voted to overturn the 2004 election, Rep. Jamie Raskin, who voted to overturn the 2016 election, and Rep. Adam Schiff, who claimed for years that he had proof of Russian collusion.
