Russian Official Threatens to Wipe Out US Coasts w/ ‘Satan-2’ Nukes

'Four missiles, and there will be nothing left... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A top Russian official warned that Moscow would be willing to destroy numerous major United States cities on both coasts with nuclear weapons, if the US continues to provide support to Ukraine.

Alexei Zhuravlev, a member of Russia’s parliament, told the Russian media that with only four nuclear bombs, Russia could blow up the better part of each American coast, the Daily Wire reported.

“I will tell you absolutely competently that to destroy the entire East Coast of the United States, two Sarmat missiles are needed,” he said.

“And the same goes for the West Coast,” he added. “Four missiles, and there will be nothing left.”

The missile is called the Satan-2, and it “is considered Russia’s most powerful ICBM: a super-heavy, thermonuclear-armed intercontinental-range ballistic missile.”

Zhuravlev’s words reinforce what Russian President Vladimir Putin said in April.

At the time, Putin noted that the Russian military had successfully launched the new ICBM, adding that the new weapon would “reliably ensure Russia’s security in the face of external threats, and will provide food for thought to those who in the heat of frenzied aggressive rhetoric try to threaten our country.”

In a New York Times op-ed published earlier this week, President Joe Biden announced that America will continue to send billions of dollars to Ukraine, as well as weapons “that will enable them to more precisely strike key targets on the battlefield in Ukraine.”

The administration rejected Ukraine’s request for long-range rockets, instead supplying short-range.

“The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) that the U.S. is sending is a mobile rocket launcher that can strike targets from 40 to over 300 miles away, depending on the type of rocket it is outfitted with,” Politico reported.

“The rockets that the administration has decided to send are on the shorter end, reaching up to 48 miles.”
