Rep. Boebert Notches MAGA Win in Colorado

'Time to get to work! ... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) In what was an unexpectedly close race that came down to the wire, MAGA firebrand Lauren Boebert on Friday secured a win in Colorado to retain the state’s seat for Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Despite votes still being counted, and the race likely headed to a recount, Boebert was able to declare victory after Democrat challenger Adam Frisch called the incumbent to concede. With more than 99% of votes counted, Boebert led 50.8% to 49.92%, or about 550 votes.

Both candidates agreed that the state’s mandatory recount wouldn’t change the results. Frisch said he wouldn’t ask for one and encouraged others to follow suit. The recount would be cancelled when Frisch officially withdraws his candidacy to waive his right to one, according to the Colorado Sun.

“The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small,” Frisch said.  “Very, very small. It would be disingenuous and unethical for us, or any other group, to continue to raise false hope.”

Boebert, an outspoken, often controversial and consistently pro-liberty lawmaker, was expected to roll to any easy victory in the deep red district she serves, but relentlessly negative coverage from fake news media contributed an uphill climb for her campaign.

Leftist regime collaborator MSNBC at one point sunk to new lows when they mocked the possibility that they’d be able to drive Boebert into a post-defeat career of porn on Only Fans.

In typical fashion, Boebert steamrolled over the media assaults and focused on her campaign to keep the Biden administration in check and advance an American First agenda.

The last word went to Boebert.

“With this victory and with Republicans in control of the House of Representatives, we can focus on the issues that actually matter most, including getting inflation under control, increasing our domestic energy supply, securing the southern border and being a strong check on the White House,” Boebert said.
