Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., blasted “C-list celebrities” for putting a target on his family’s back after a suspicious package containing white powder was sent to his home on Monday night, along with a disturbing threat of violence.
I got the death threat letter and called the FBI. This kind of violent threat is fomented against Rand daily by @ReallyAmerican1 , a Dem PAC that pays thugs like @mmpadellan to celebrate the assault that nearly killed Rand. @DNC ignores. @richardmarx was inciting more violence

“I take these threats immensely seriously,” Paul said in a statement. “As a repeated target of violence, it is reprehensible that Twitter allows C-list celebrities to encourage violence against me and my family.”
Paul’s wife, Kelley Paul, also responded and blamed Democratic political groups for funding leftist activists who celebrate attacks against Paul.
One such activist is pop singer Richard Marx, who tweeted on Sunday that he wanted to thank René Boucher, the neighbor who assaulted Paul in his backyard in 2017.
“I’ll say it again: If I ever meet Rand Paul’s neighbor I’m going to hug him and buy him as many drinks as he can consume,” Marx said.
The suspicious package, which was sent to his Kentucky home, contained a white powder. The package is being investigated by the FBI, but an initial examination determined the substance was not dangerous.
On the outside of the envelope was a picture of a battered Paul after he had been assaulted with a gun to his head and a threat printed beneath it: “I’ll finish what your neighbor started you motherf***er.”
This is just the latest threat against Paul’s safety. After the Republican National Convention last year, a mob surrounded Paul and his wife as they left the White House, screaming obscenities at them while they walked.
“First, there were a handful of people—then 30, then 60, then over 100 screaming and out-of-control lunatics,” he recalled.
The mob was “shouting awful death threats. Curses. Shoving. One person in the mob violently slammed into a policeman just behind me.”
The latest attack comes on the heels of Paul’s announcement that he would not seek a vaccination for the coronavirus since he already recovered from the virus and has antibody immunity.
Paul, a medical doctor by trade, has also been a powerful foil to coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci.
After a recent confrontation during a Senate hearing, he forced Fauci to concede that China may have been responsible for developing the virus at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, shattering the yearlong narrative that it was organically transmitted.
