Democrat representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington state held a mask-free birthday party on Monday, despite her previous tantrums concerning masking.
Jayapal has been one of the most vociferously pro-mask Democrats, routinely whining about those more concerned with liberty than masking.
In her view, it seems, CDC rules apply only to those with less expertise on the virus.
At her birthday party Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-MI, and other Democrat lawmakers were present.
In a video posted by Tlaib, Jayapal can be seen blowing out the candles on her birthday cake — an act that, according the health experts, can trigger a superspreader event.
In January she tweeted complaining that she was exposed to the virus because Republicans had elected not to wear masks during a meeting.
“I just received a positive COVID-19 test result after being locked down in a secured room at the Capitol where several Republicans not only cruelly refused to wear a mask but recklessly mocked colleagues and staff who offered them one,” she wrote.
“Only hours after Trump incited a deadly assault on our Capitol, many Republicans still refused to take the bare minimum COVID-19 precaution and simply wear a damn mask in a crowded room during a pandemic—creating a superspreader event ON TOP of a domestic terrorist attack,” she added.
Later she hinted at the need for legal or extralegal punishment for those who refuse to follow the unconstitutional mask mandates.
She threateningly tweeted that “Any Member who refuses to wear a mask should be fully held accountable for endangering our lives because of their selfish idiocy. I’m calling for every single Member who refuses to wear a mask in the Capitol to be fined and removed from the floor by the Sergeant at Arms.”
Democrats now have a long history of ignoring their own protocols, especially in respect to the Coronavirus.
Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer infamously took a trip to Florida after suggesting that Michiganders stay home for Spring Break.
Also in Michigan, state officials likewise attended a wedding at which the attendants ignored the protocols that they forced onto the citizens of their state.
