(Headline USA) White House press secretary Jen Psaki agreed this week that Fox News reporter Peter Doocy sounds like a “stupid son of a b****.”
Asked about an insult President Joe Biden leveled at Doocy, for which he was later forced to apologize, Psaki said during a Thursday recording of Pod Save America that Biden was right about Doocy.
“He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b****,” she said.

Biden clashed with Doocy earlier this year after being pressed on a number of policy issues. He later apologized to Doocy during a phone call, according to the reporter, and told him that “It’s nothing personal, pal.”

Fox News pushed back on Psaki’s insult, saying the network is “extremely proud of his work.”
“In his role as White House correspondent, Peter Doocy’s job is to elicit truth from power for the American public. His questions are his own, he is a terrific reporter,” the company said.
Fox News anchor John Roberts also stepped in to defend Doocy, saying that Psaki’s standards would make every good reporter a “stupid son of a b****.”
Note to @PressSec . @pdoocy makes the decisions on what topics he wants to quiz you on, and develops the questions himself.
His philosophy is a basic tenet of journalism. Comfort the afflicted, and afflict the comfortable. If that makes all of us “stupid s.o.b.s”, so be it.— John Roberts (@johnrobertsFox) April 15, 2022
During the podcast episode, Psaki also confirmed that she is planning on leaving the White House soon, most likely for MSNBC.
