(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) New York City police this week were once again arresting citizens who dared defy the draconian vaccine mandates that require health passports to simply enjoy a meal or a night out in the Big Apple.
A group of anti-forced-vax protestors tried to order food at an Olive Garden restaurant in Times Square, but were refused service when they failed to produce the requisite vaccine passport, according to The Blaze.
Under the city’s restrictive mandate, people ages 5 to 12 to must show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and people 12 and older to show proof of two doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
Instead of complying to produce the proper government papers, or leaving the restaurant in submission to the edict, the citizens began a protest that lasted nearly two hours. In the protest’s wake, the reportedly restaurant closed early but not until after police made a presence.

A majority of the protestors left voluntarily, but at least four were arrested, cuffed, hauled away and are expected to be charged with trespassing, reported the New York Post.
“They arrested me for trying to eat at Olive Garden, that’s what happened,” a protester said.
“Wake up New York! Wake the f— up!,” another protestor yelled while being led into a police van, while another hollered, “Wake up New York! Wake the f*** up!”
“Take off your mask, free your face,” one protester told employees of the restaurant. ”Stand up to your bosses.” While some of the protesters chanted “U-S-A!” and sang “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Some onlookers applauded the protesters and called them “heroes,” the Blaze reported.
This isn’t the first time the city’s oppressive vaccine mandate has resulted in police action, with similar anti-vaccine passport protests occurring at Carmine’s restaurant, a Cheesecake Factory in Queens and a Burger King in Brooklyn.
At least this time there weren’t any terrified five-year-olds breaking into tears after being confronted by police trying to enforce the mandate.
