Saudi Migrant Said She Threatened DOJ b/c ‘They Tried to Set Her Up to Take Blame for the New Orleans Attack’

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) An illegal immigrant born in Saudi Arabia was arrested last month for sending threats to the Justice Department. According to court records, the migrant told agents she sent the threats “because they tried to set her up to take blame for the New Orleans attack.”

The April 18 criminal complaint against Saudi national Sitameriam Nurai Ibrahim states that she was ordered to be removed from the country more than 20 years ago in 2002. When President Joe Biden took power in 2021, Ibrahim appealed the removal order—but her appeal was denied after days after President Donald Trump won the election last November. Ibrahim then submitted a corruption complaint last December to the DOJ’s Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), but that was denied, too.

It was after her corruption complaint was denied that Ibrahim sent threats to the DOJ, according to an April 18 criminal complaint against her.

On Feb. 19, Ibrahim allegedly wrote an email to the DOJ, stating: “I have reached a point of exhaustion with my efforts to seek justice, as it seems that such as concept no longer holds any genuine value in today’s system.”

Three days later, Ibrahim’s rhetoric turned violent.

“Big fucking mistake. All yall gone die now,” she allegedly wrote. “I’m sending my killers your way bitch office of professionalism unit. Ima have em spread out bombs all across your EOIR offices. Everyone one of your immigration judges will be dead.”

Federal agents interviewed Ibrahim at her apartment on March 18. There, she told them the reason for her threats.

“Ibrahim stated, ‘I sent all that stuff after I was so sick about something I saw in the media about an 11-year-old girl getting bullied about her immigration status then committed suicide,’” the criminal complaint against her stated.

“She was also asked who she was referring to in her threat to send people to the DOJ to spread out bombs. Ibrahim mentioned she doesn’t know anybody and stated she made the threat because she was really upset because they tried to set her up to take blame for the New Orleans attack.”

The criminal complaint against the Saudi national, Sitameriam Nurai Ibrahim, doesn’t reveal any more details about her statements on the New Orleans attack, which occurred on New Year’s Day when U.S. Army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar allegedly drove his truck with an ISIS flag into a crowd of people in the famed French Quarter of New Orleans, killing more than a dozen of them.

The FBI continues to say that Jabbar acted alone. However, last month an ISIS official was reportedly detained in Iraq on the grounds that he may have incited the attack.

Iraqi officials have not released the man’s name only saying that he is an Iraqi citizen. The officials said the man will be put on trial in accordance with the country’s anti-terrorism law, adding that Iraq is committed to international cooperation in fighting terrorism.

Students Are Only Being Taught Half the Inflation Story

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) It’s no wonder people don’t understand inflation. High school students are only being taught half the story.

A friend ran across this lesson for International Baccalaureate (IB) high school students. The IB program is “a rigorous, two-year high school curriculum (Grades 11 and 12) that emphasizes intercultural understanding and global awareness.”

Note the definition of ‘inflation’: the increase in the general price level in the economy.

That’s a perfectly good definition of price inflation, but it leaves an important question unanswered: what causes a rise in the general price level? Why do we have “inflation” to begin with?

That seems like an important part of the lesson, doesn’t it?

A student taking this class will be left to assume that it’s magic.

Prices just rise.

Too bad, too sad.

What Causes Price Inflation?

All kinds of things drive prices up—increased demand, shortages, natural disasters, wars, government policy, etc. Sometimes, price increases can ripple through the economy, causing other prices to follow suit. For instance, oil prices spiked after Russia invaded Ukraine. But this wasn’t technically “inflation.” It would be better described as a price shock. Price shocks do, in fact, raise prices. And those price increases can cascade through the economy, causing other prices to rise with them.

But again, this isn’t “inflation” in the historical and technical sense of the word. There is only one thing that causes price inflation (defined as a general rise in the level of prices) – monetary inflation, or more precisely, an increase in the supply of money and credit.

As economist Milton Friedman put it, “[Inflation] is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon. It’s always and everywhere a result of too much money.”

You don’t get that part of the story from the IB lesson plan, do you?

I think that’s by design.

After all, who causes the money supply to increase?

Governments and central banks.

And the political class would rather you not realize they are causing the pain you’re feeling at the grocery store and gas station.

Words Mean Things

There was a time in the not-too-distant past when inflation was more precisely defined.

A 1970s dictionary described it this way:

“A sharp increase in the amount of money and credit, causing advances in the price level.”

Economist Ludwig von Mises defined it this way in his essay “Inflation: An Unworkable Fiscal Policy“:

“Inflation, as this term was always used everywhere and especially in this country, means increasing the quantity of money and bank notes in circulation and the quantity of bank deposits subject to check.”

Price inflation (or “inflation” as the IB lesson plan calls it) is one symptom of this government-created monetary inflation. In other words, a rise in the general price level isn’t inflation. It is caused by inflation.

Henry Hazlitt is best known for his brilliant book Economics in One Lesson. In another essay titled “Inflation in One Page,” he explained why using a more precise definition of inflation is crucial.

“Inflation is an increase in the quantity of money and credit. Its chief consequence is soaring prices.

“Therefore inflation—if we misuse the term to mean the rising prices themselves—is caused solely by printing more money. For this the government’s monetary policies are entirely responsible.” (Emphasis added)

Mises expounded on this.

“People today use the term `inflation’ to refer to the phenomenon that is an inevitable consequence of inflation, that is the tendency of all prices and wage rates to rise.

“The result of this deplorable confusion is that there is no term left to signify the cause of this rise in prices and wages. There is no longer any word available to signify the phenomenon that has been, up to now, called inflation… As you cannot talk about something that has no name, you cannot fight it.

“Those who pretend to fight inflation are in fact only fighting what is the inevitable consequence of inflation, rising prices. Their ventures are doomed to failure because they do not attack the root of the evil. They try to keep prices low while firmly committed to a policy of increasing the quantity of money that must necessarily make them soar.

“As long as this terminological confusion is not entirely wiped out, there cannot be any question of stopping inflation.” [Emphasis added]

Over the years, the political class, along with their apologists in the mainstream financial media and academia, intentionally muddied the definition of inflation to suit government purposes. The standard definition of inflation you hear during White House press conferences, at a CNBC roundtable, or during an IB high school class is nothing more than government propaganda.

By obscuring the fact that price inflation (a general rise in all prices) is the result of monetary inflation, government and central bank officials can blame “inflation” on all kinds of things. After all, there are a lot of reasons certain prices go up and certain prices go down.

This is precisely why so many people believe “inflation” is caused by greedy corporations, Putin’s price hikes, or voodoo.

The real culprit is government.

Sadly, your highly educated IB graduate will probably never realize this.

Scientists Turn Lead into Gold

(Mike Maharrey, Money Metals News Service) This is the stuff of dreams. Scientists have turned lead into gold!

Since ancient times, people have been trying to figure out how to transform common metals such as lead or iron into gold.

Alchemy originated in Egypt in the first century. It became a popular endeavor in the Middle Ages. At the time, people believed there was a “Philosopher’s Stone,” an elusive substance with transformative powers, including the ability to transform or purify metals.

Of course, nobody ever discovered that substance, but people did learn physics, and that has led to the transformation of lead into gold.

It happened at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Geneva, Switzerland, where the ALICE collaboration (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) detected the transmutation of lead into gold.

ALICE’s central mission is to study the quark–gluon plasma (QGP)—a state of matter believed to have existed microseconds after the Big Bang, where quarks and gluons were not confined within protons and neutrons. The LHC particle accelerator is a vital tool in this collaboration.

I don’t know what any of that means, but that’s how the interwebs described it, and I thought it was important to include for any sciency folks who might read the article.

Anyway, alchemists back in the day primarily focused their efforts on turning common substances into gold using chemistry. Needless to say, they never figured it out. However, with the advancement of physics, scientists discovered that heavy elements do transform into other elements naturally or through radioactive decay — or in a lab under a bombardment of neutrons or protons.

According to Phys.org, scientists have created gold in this way before, however, the ALICE collaboration has now measured the transmutation of lead into gold by a new mechanism involving near-miss collisions between lead nuclei at the LHC.

I have to admit, it wasn’t until today that I realized this was a thing. But it’s pretty cool, right? We can literally make gold! We’re all going to be rich!

Well, not so fast.

According to Phys.org, “the LHC currently produces gold at a maximum rate of about 89,000 nuclei per second from lead–lead collisions at the ALICE collision point.”

Yeah. That was meaningless to me as well. But according to AI calculations, it would take about 33.9 billion years to create one ounce of gold at that rate.

In other words, don’t hold your breath. As Phys.org put it, “While the dream of medieval alchemists has technically come true, their hopes of riches have once again been dashed.”

Here’s the thing: even if we could produce large amounts of gold in a lab, what would be the point? If gold suddenly became commonplace, it wouldn’t be as valuable. Lead is about 12,700 times more abundant than gold in the Earth’s crust. That’s why nobody is running around with lead coins in their pockets. (That and the whole lead-poisoning thing.)

Gold’s rarity is one of the features that makes it so valuable.

So, if you do figure out how to turn lead (or something else) into gold on a large scale, you might want to keep it to yourself!

Trump Speaks With Zelensky, Calls for ‘Unconditional’ 30-Day Ukraine Ceasefire

(Dave DeCamp, Antiwar.com) President Trump on Thursday called for a 30-day “unconditional” ceasefire in Ukraine and threatened sanctions if it is not “respected.”

Trump made the call in a post on Truth Social shortly after holding a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “Talks with Russia/Ukraine continue. The US calls for, ideally, a 30-day unconditional ceasefire,” the president said.

“Hopefully, an acceptable ceasefire will be observed, and both Countries will be held accountable for respecting the sanctity of these direct negotiations. If the ceasefire is not respected, the US and its partners will impose further sanctions,” Trump added.

The president’s call with Zelensky came after the Ukrainian parliament ratified the US-Ukraine minerals deal, although there was contention about two technical agreements that still need to be signed to fully implement the deal.

Zelensky’s government hasn’t shared the details of the two technical agreements, leading Ukrainian MPs to add an amendment to the ratification. According to POLITICO, the extra paragraph says “that ratifying the main economic agreement does not mean lawmakers will automatically approve another the two technical side deals that they have not yet been shown.”

After speaking with Trump, Zelensky said they “welcomed the Ukrainian Parliament’s ratification of the Economic Partnership Agreement — a truly historic document that opens up many new opportunities for cooperation.”

The Ukrainian leader said he also welcomed the idea of a 30-day ceasefire. “I also informed him that Ukraine is ready for a 30-day ceasefire, starting even today. We are waiting for Russia to support this proposal,” he wrote on X.

The Trump-Zelensky call came after Russia declared a three-day ceasefire for Russia’s celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union defeating Nazi Germany in World War II. Zelensky rejected the truce, and the two sides have accused each other of violations.

Houthi Leader Says US Failed To Stop Yemen’s Support for Palestine

(Dave DeCamp, Antiwar.com) Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Ansar Allah, commonly known as the Houthis, said on Thursday that the US failed to stop Yemen’s support of the Palestinians in Gaza.

“The Americans launched another round of aggression against our country, hoping to achieve what they previously failed to. But they failed again and suffered greater losses,” al-Houthi said, according to Yemen’s SABA news agency.

The Yemeni leader denied President Trump’s claim that the Houthis had capitulated. “The Yemeni position was never, as claimed by the criminal infidel Trump, one of pleading or surrender. That is farther from reality than the sun itself,” he said.

The US-Houthi ceasefire deal doesn’t apply to Israel, and Yemeni attacks on Israel have continued.

“Our position has not wavered or weakened; rather, it remains strong and integrated. At no point in this struggle have we ever considered speaking to a criminal enemy in the language of surrender, pleading, or weakness,” al-Houthi said.

The Houthis have maintained they will continue attacks on Israel and the blockade on Israeli shipping until the siege on Gaza is lifted. “Our clear and declared priority is to support Palestine against the Israeli enemy,” al-Houthi said.

The US military said it launched over 1,000 airstrikes on Yemen, and the US bombing campaign took a significant toll on civilians, killing at least 206 and wounding 366 from March 15 to April 31, according to the Yemen Data Project.

Throughout the bombing campaign, the Houthis were targeting Israel, and eventually directly struck the Ben Gurion Airport with a missile.

The Houthis are known for their resilience, having survived a US-backed Saudi/UAE war against them from 2015 to 2022, which involved a heavy bombing campaign, a blockade, and a ground campaign.

The Houthis began targeting Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea in response to Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in 2023. In January 2024, President Biden launched a bombing campaign in Yemen, which lasted until January 2025.

The Houthis ceased attacks on Israel and on Red Sea shipping when the short-lived Gaza ceasefire went into effect on January 19. After Israel violated the deal by imposing a total blockade on Gaza, the Houthis announced they would re-impose the blockade on Israeli shipping.

It was in response to that announcement that the Trump administration launched its bombing campaign in Yemen on March 15. It wasn’t until the US airstrikes started again that the Houthis restarted attacks on US warships.

WATCH: Woman Spits on DOJ Official Ed Martin During TV Interview

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) An unhinged woman spat on Ed Martin, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, while he was being interviewed by Newsmax. 

The assault began with a verbal tirade and quickly escalated when the unidentified woman approached Martin, spat on him and called him a “disgusting man.” The assault was caught live on air. 

Martin, stunned by the seemingly unprovoked ambush, responded, “Woah,” as Newsmax abruptly cut the interview. 

“This afternoon acting DC US Atty Ed Martin was spit on by a psychotic lib during our interview,” Newsmax host Rob Schmitt posted on X. “Hope she’s ready for a nice stretch in jail.” 

The DOJ is likely investigating the incident, as assaulting a federal official is a crime. Attorney General Pam Bondi has also made clear that any act of intimidation against Trump officials will not be tolerated. 

The attack came just as President Donald Trump announced he was withdrawing Martin as his nominee to permanently lead the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. 

Martin’s nomination was derailed by Senate opposition, with Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., objecting to Martin’s unapologetic defense of Jan. 6 defendants. 

Martin’s interim role ends in May.  

Meanwhile, Trump announced Thursday that he tapped Judge Jeanine Pirro as Martin’s replacement. Martin will serve as associate attorney general and pardon attorney.

Pirro, known for her no-nonsense commentary on Fox News’s The Five, served as Westchester County district attorney from 1994 to 2005. She previously served as a county judge. 

She also ran for U.S. Senate against Hillary Clinton in 2006 and later for New York attorney general against Andrew Cuomo, the would-be governor.

Report: Trump Delinks Saudi Nuclear Deal from Israeli Normalization

(Dave DeCamp, Antiwar.com) The US is no longer demanding that Saudi Arabia normalize relations with Israel to move forward with talks on establishing a Saudi civil nuclear program, Reuters reported on Thursday.

The Biden administration had been working on a potential Israel-Saudi normalization deal that would have involved the US helping the Saudis establish a nuclear program and signing a mutual defense treaty with Riyadh.

There were reports in September 2023 that said Riyadh was willing to drop its long-standing condition that a Palestinian state must be established before it would normalize relations with Israel. But those talks fell apart after Hamas’s October 7 attack and Israel unleashing its genocidal war on Gaza.

Over the past year and a half, Saudi officials have made clear there will be no Israel normalization without a Palestinian state. The idea of a US-Saudi mutual defense treaty has also been dropped, and President Trump is willing to move forward on the nuclear talks without Israel’s involvement, according to Reuters.

According to Israel Hayom, Trump had decided to move forward on the potential Saudi deal without consulting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israeli officials told the Israeli outlet that they don’t think Trump could get support from Congress for a Saudi nuclear program without a normalization agreement.

“The president won’t be able to get approval to push forward a civilian nuclear program for Saudi Arabia without the Israeli component,” an Israeli official told Israel Hayom. “He doesn’t have a Senate majority for any agreement that doesn’t include Israel or that moves forward without its consent.”

Israel Hayom has also reported that President Trump is frustrated with Netanyahu over certain issues and is moving to take action without him. The report cited the truce deal between the US and Yemen’s Houthis, which excluded Israel, as one of those steps.

The news of Trump dropping the demand for Israeli normalization comes days before his visit to Saudi Arabia. The president is expected to announce a series of major arms deals while in the kingdom.

Is Rep. Cory Mills a Secret Muslim?

(José Niño, Headline USA) Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., is facing scrutiny regarding his marriage to a Muslim woman, allegations of domestic assault, and potential ethics violations related to his defense contracting companies.

One of the most recent controversies surrounding Mills emerged on Wednesday, when The Blaze released an investigative report revealing that Mills was married by a radical Islamic cleric named Mohammed Al-Hanooti. This has raised questions about Mills’ religious affiliations, as he has publicly presented himself as a Christian throughout his political career.

According to the marriage certificate verified by The Blaze, Mills married Rana Al Saadi in 2014 at the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia. The mosque has been described in some sources as “reputed to be the most extremist mosque in America.” The ceremony’s officiant, Mohammed Al-Hanooti, was reportedly an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and allegedly involved in fundraising efforts for the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

When confronted with these facts, Mills vehemently denied converting to Islam, explaining that the arrangement was made out of necessity.

“I don’t know the damn guy. I didn’t have a relationship with the guy, so I can’t tell you anything other than the fact that he was sick,” Mills said to The Blaze. He claimed the urgent marriage was necessary because his wife needed to visit a dying relative in Iraq and without the certificate, she “would’ve been arrested” due to complications with her previous marriage.

Mills explained that Al-Hanooti was “the only Iraqi imam that her mom [could] get in contact with who would do this for us.” 

Robert Spencer, founder of Jihad Watch, contested Mills’ claim, stating it was unlikely that an imam like Al-Hanooti would have performed the marriage without Mills converting to Islam:

Sharia stipulates that a Muslim woman may not marry a Christian or any other non-Muslim man… Thus it is virtually certain that Al-Hanooti, as a knowledgeable and believing imam, required Mills to convert to Islam before he married Rana Al Saadi.

Spencer speculated that perhaps Mills recited the shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) in Arabic without fully understanding its significance.

In February 2025, Mills became the subject of an assault investigation following an incident involving Sarah Raviani, co-founder of Iranians for Trump.

On February 20, 2025, Metropolitan Police in Washington D.C. responded to a call at a penthouse apartment in the Wharf area of Southwest D.C. Police reports obtained by various news outlets indicated that Raviani alleged Mills had “grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door.” Officers observed “bruises on her arm which appeared fresh.”

According to one police report, Mills allegedly admitted to officers that “the situation escalated from verbal to physical” and was “severe enough to create bruising.”

Subsequently, both Mills and Raviani issued statements denying any physical altercation took place.

“This week, law enforcement was asked to resolve a private matter at Congressman Mills’ residence,” a spokesperson for Mills said in a statement. “Congressman Mills vehemently denies any wrongdoing whatsoever, and is confident any investigation will clear this matter quickly.” 

Raviani released a statement claiming that the bruises were from “medical conditions and activities from a recent overseas trip.”

The Metropolitan Police Department sent an arrest warrant to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, but it was never signed. The department also launched an internal investigation into its own handling of the incident.

This situation revealed that Mills, who is married to Al Saadi, has been in a relationship with Raviani. Reports from Business Insider indicated that Mills and Al Saadi have been in divorce proceedings for approximately two years.

Mills’ personal problems have not stopped there.

Former Florida State Representative Anthony Sabatini, who ran against Mills in the Republican primary for Florida’s 7th district in 2022, has accused Mills of exaggerating his military record, particularly his Bronze Star award for actions during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. 

The award citation stated Mills had saved soldiers Joe Heit and Alan Babin under enemy fire, but Heit told reporters Mills “didn’t save my life” and “I don’t recall him being there.” Henry Barbe, a medic involved in Babin’s evacuation, similarly stated that he had no recollection of Mills being in his unit.

“From what I understand about Mills is he might have been in the unit. I don’t remember him being involved in the medevac,” Barbe stated. “To be fair, I was worried about the patients. I don’t remember him, and from what I understand, other people don’t remember him.”

Mills defended the award’s legitimacy, noting that recommendations for military honors are initiated by commanding officers, not soldiers themselves.

Adding to these personal controversies, Mills is also under investigation by the House Ethics Committee regarding his business interests.

In March 2025, the Office of Congressional Ethics (now the Office of Congressional Conduct) found “substantial reason to believe” that defense contracting companies owned by Mills had contracts with the federal government while he was serving in Congress. This could potentially violate House rules, standards of conduct, and federal law.

The companies in question — Pacem Defense, LLC, Pacem Solutions International, LLC, and ALS, Inc. — primarily manufacture “less than lethal ammunitions” for “federal law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Department of Justice.”

Despite all the controversy, Mills appears posed to recapture his seat in the coming midterms. According to a recent report from Florida Politics, he raised $284,000 in the first quarter of this year, while his Democrat opponent raised less than $1,800.

FEMA Boss Fired for Undermining Push to Abolish Agency

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Trump administration has removed the acting head of FEMA after he publicly contradicted DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s call to abolish the agency. 

Acting FEMA Director Cameron Hamilton was fired by Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Troy Edgar and Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski, Politico reported Thursday.  

His biography was promptly removed from FEMA’s website and his X account was archived. 

Hamilton’s dismissal came after he directly opposed Noem’s remarks defending President Donald Trump’s desire to shut down the scandal-plagued agency. 

“I think we’re going to recommend that FEMA go away,” Trump said in January. Noem echoed the sentiment on Tuesday, telling lawmakers that the agency had failed the American people. 

Hamilton defied that message, telling a House Appropriations subcommittee, “I do not believe it is in the best interests of the American people to eliminate the Federal Emergency Management Agency.” 

The administration had appointed Hamilton to the acting role on Jan. 22, 2025—just two days after Trump returned to office. 

Before that, Hamilton had run for the Republican nomination in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, finishing second. 

Following his dismissal, the White House tapped David Richardson, a senior DHS official, to serve as FEMA’s interim head, The Wall Street Journal reported. 

“Effective today, David Richardson is now serving as the Senior Official Performing the duties of the FEMA Administrator,” a DHS spokesperson said in an email. 

Richardson had been serving as assistant secretary for DHS’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office.

President Trump Fires Woke Librarian of Congress

(Headline USA) President Donald Trump has fired Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden, who promoted books with sexual content to children and infamously let obese pop star Lizzo play James Madison’s 200-year-old crystal flute during her tenure.

Hayden was notified in an email late Thursday from the White House’s Presidential Personnel Office, according to an email obtained by The Associated Press. Confirmed by the Senate to the job in 2016, Hayden was the first woman and the first African American to be librarian of Congress.

“Carla,” the email began. “On behalf of President Donald J. Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as the Librarian of Congress is terminated effective immediately. Thank you for your service.” A spokesperson for the Library of Congress confirmed that the White House told Hayden she was dismissed.

Hayden, whose 10-year term was set to expire next year, had come under backlash from a conservative advocacy group that accused her and other library leaders of promoting children’s books with radical content and literary material authored by Trump opponents.

“The current #LibrarianOfCongress Carla Hayden is woke, anti-Trump, and promotes trans-ing kids,” the group, American Accountability Foundation, said on its X account earlier Thursday, just hours before the firing was made public. “It’s time to get her OUT and hire a new guy for the job!”

The unexpected move infuriated congressional Democrats, who initially disclosed the firing.

Connecticut Rep. Rosa DeLauro, the top Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, said Hayden was “callously fired” by Trump and demanded an explanation from the administration as to why she was dismissed.

At a gala Wednesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio joked that he has assumed three other positions in the Trump administration as national security adviser, acting archivist and acting director of the U.S. Agency for International Development. During his remarks at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute event, he said leading the Library of Congress “would be a good job,” then paused and jokingly proposed Florida Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart for the position.

“You know what would be good? Library of Congress. That would be a good job,” Rubio said. “Acting librarian Mario Diaz-Balart. Do you want it?”
